The bar was completely packed, hundreds of people. Nobody made a sound as Sara performed her encore. She has an amazing ability to silence a room with her incredible talent.
Once in a generation an artist like Sara comes along.
She is one of few artists that make my heart skip a beat.
This is so powerful. I haven't been touched by a song like this in a very long time. She's incredibly sincere in the way that she performs. Her lyrics are deep and poignant. Her voice is beautiful and expressive. What else could you want in an artist?

it's interesting how powerful and moving her performances are - and all she has is her voice and piano, she doesn't need to wear chaps or gyrate across the stage to prove her talent. she's amazing.

Breathtaking. Ten years ago and she was amazing even back then. She is a rare talent. No one on the scene today captures me the way Sara does. We really are blessed to listen to this beautiful woman and consummate artist.
Sara Bareilles might of not gotten a lot of attention this past year or 2 but her new album will kill it! She is full of wondeful talent! Shes truely amazing and will always stay like that! She truely is a wonderful musician!
I am hopelessly in love with this woman. Aside from having a ridiculously good voice and writing wonderful songs, she expresses her honesty like few artists of our time are capable of doing, much less even care to. Sara allows us into the most personal and private parts of her soul through her music. But...she has lousy taste in shoes...
The talent of this woman as both a singer and songwriter will never fail to blow me away.
She is simply amazing. Her voice is just beautiful, and her album "Little Voice" is so different in a way, all her songs are unique. This song is one of my favourites. Pure love. I wish I could see her live some day. But I live in Norway, so that might not happen too soon. One can hope though :)
Sara deserves to be much more famous, there are singers out there right now (i'm not gonna name name's) that can't even sing without the help of autotune and other distractions and yet are so famous:(
I have never heard this song before, but just listening to her sing this, and listening to the lyrics makes my heart so heavy. It's beautiful. Every Sara Bareilles song is beautiful. She is such a wonderful artist, and she deserves so much more than she is getting.

I handed out a few cameras at a show she did at the Temple Bar. My friend Jason Dodson then edited the footage together. The show was a special appearance to premiere Sara's Fairytale video which we produced.

10 years ago this was the very first time I heard Sara's voice when watching this video and I have been in love with her voice every since. Watching this today brings back so many memories. Thank you to the person who uploaded this video many years ago. This woman has touched me with her music and it's crazy how I could have possibly never found out about her if it wasn't for that late night in 2006 I was up in my room crying my eyes out over anxiety, looking for music on youtube to make me feel better and just sum up what I was feeling. I will never forget the way this video inspired me that night.

This is one of my favorite Sara Bareilles songs. It just moves me every time.
In my opinion, this is her best sad song on her album. It takes my heart every time she closes her chorus with "There's nothing here to hold on to. Can I hold you?" and it gives me the chills. I can't imagine what kind of sorrow she must have felt when she wrote this. I love her for all that she is. She is, in her overall average looks, the most beautiful singer I have ever seen and heard.
And, yes, Sara, you can hold me anytime. Ü
This is one of the best performances I have seen of her. This one performance is so much better and has so much more emotion than the CD version. Just my opinion. Though the CD version is great, this is on another level!
I'm the same way. I heard the song gravity. I showed it to my mom, she cried because that song, was exactly what situation she was in. Music is amazing in how it can make us feel like were not alone.

I consider this perfection. Absolutely amazing. I honestly created my RUclips account to make an attempt to connect with Sara Bareilles on a personal level.... Though, that might sound obsessive... I was in a really bad time in my life, which seems to be consistent.... and I needed someone to reach out to.... Her music has practically saved my life at times... and kept me from wanting to leave this Earth. To know that someone so talented, beautiful, and true exists.

Beautiful, spectacular, all around AMAZING! Finally a singer with talent comes on to the scene because frankly I'm getting and tired of Britney's Blackout album being "the best" which is not, or listening to rap on every music tv and/or radio station or having some American Idol singer be the "hot new thing". This is pure talent, I love Sara Bareilles as well as her contemporaries Regina Spektor, Colbie Caillat and A Fine Frenzy. Great job! This song is beautiful, it had me in tears.

Sara is amazing..period. Her music is original and her sound is completly her own..nothing like it is really out right now. So, I consider her to be a breath of fresh air. You have to have respect musicians. Not mention, she is insanely nice, kind hearted, and really geeky...I met her at Huntington Beach and fame has not gotten her head and i'm sure it never will...
