So funny! I have felt the same about Abeka and have mostly been doing unit studies for 3 years and now I’m reconsidering and wondering if I should have my girls do separate science, separate history etc. thanks for reviewing! Considering Abeka more.
We used Abeka 3 for Language Arts this year as well. We dropped Writing With Purpose fairly early on. My son is good at penmanship but it was just too much for his little hand! I just started having him do his Scripture memory verse in cursive and called it good. 🙂 I'm glad to hear it wasn't just us!!
I really like the ABEKA grammar and reading comprehension programs. Really appreciate getting your opinion regarding the Evan Moor vocabulary workbook. Evan Moor has great workbooks. My daughter didn't like the ABEKA readers so we used other books. New sub. Thank you for this review.
My daughter did 1st grade abeka math this year. We enjoyed it but the combination practice class was to fast for her. Any tips or resources to use to help cement those addition and subtraction problems? I would love to find a app or game that makes it fun
For my oldest, I used Abeka’s addition family charts. For my middle daughter, we used the good and the beautiful and the way they teach math allows her to sort of figure out the problems quickly in her head (it also comes with games). She just uses Abeka math as a supplement and the combination of the two have really helped her. If what you tried didn’t work for her, keep looking until you find the right fit. All kids are so different! Mine have used things like ABC mouse, and leapfrog activity games for their math. They also used Kahn academy a little bit too.
I really need help. We switching from Time4learning and I want to but the kid set but do the work show up on the computer as well? Are do I need to buy the parent work books as well? Thanks for answering
Thanks for the video! What would you change? I have 2 boy's going into 3rd and 4th grade(our first year homeschooling) any tips are greatly appreciated!
Hi, I was wondering if you could please tell us what history/bible/science curriculum you use? I am having a hard time deciding on a history program. thank you
Last year we used a children’s Bible by DK and More than words from masterbooks. For science and history we used Abeka. I have a morning basket video that shows everything we used as well as videos on how we did science and history. My new morning basket video for what we will use this year will be out soon!

I’m not quite sure what you’re asking or what subject you’re referring to
Hi
Did you get the parents guide and work book for the abeka language 3?
Yes I did
Thanks for the video! What would you change? I have 2 boy's going into 3rd and 4th grade(our first year homeschooling) any tips are greatly appreciated!
Yay! Best of luck homeschooling! The first year is the best, but it’s also where you learn the most (as a homeschool mom).
Hey, question with vocabulary have you done the 5x each, alphabetical order, creating sentences exercises?
I’m not quite sure which one you’re talking about
@@thepracticalhomeschooler lol

Do you not like Saxon because it's not colorful. Because it looks like you just made a colorful version of Saxon. Lol
