I feel like clusterfuck deserves at least stalkers delight. It's amazing for conserving ammo and one taps most human enemies with headshots, it's not too pricey to repair and I really don't find myself fixing it much because of that. Overall one if my favorites in the game.
I can attest to this. Clusterfuck ended up carrying me up until I found the Whip later on in the game as a proper sniper. You can slap a drum mag on it too and it basically never has to be reloaded. Absolute W weapon.
Just a little nugget of knowledge for you reap, the drowned AK is the only other gun in stalker (except Skif's pistol) that never really jams. I have done a run using only the ak's, and this is my breaching gun because it never breaks nor jams.
@@ReapeeRon Fun Fact Valiks AK-74 (No AK-74U) has a bugged jamming probability that makes it capable of jamming at even 100% durability instead of the average 70-80% needed for jamming to start, it also has less damage than the Base AK-74. Funny

He did took availability of ammo into account when he talked about Buket and Dragunov for example. For me weight of ammo never made me reconsider bringing a specific gun with the only exception being Dnipro upgraded to 7,62x39, because this ammo is significantly heavier so I carry less of it.
For me the clusterfuck goes into the top tier, best usability of any long range weapon by far. Aim for heads and it far surpasses anything else in that category imo. The durability isn’t that noticeable unless you use the flat ammunition or even AP but genuinely it doesn’t need it the standard ammo does the job for me. It’s so abundant that you have no issues with making sure you have enough or spending all your money to buy more
Drowned should be in Cheeki Breeki tier. As long as you don't repair it, it barely ever jams, making it an effectively unlimited durability AK which can carry you for a long time and save you a ton of coupons. It also has the coupled mags, which is the best mag attachment for the AK.
I have some gripes with the list, other than that it's solid. SVU lower than Vintar or emr? SVU one shots exos with normal ammo hs and has rapid fire, much higher dmg and pen than all those others. 9x39 should be really buffed.
The whole 9x39 class is awful atm. Nowhere near what it was in previous games. And yeah SVU is probably better than the M701 in practical circumstances since it still easily one shots on headshots but has fast follow up, deeper magazine and I believe a quicker reload too since its an external mag vs stripper clip
It would be cool if you could get a wood ak47 (rifle size) that was chambered in 7.62x39 from an old vet you can help and he gives it to you as a reward. It would be a cool quest with a cool weapon and would make sense why he would have it
Yeah especially given that Skif himself is a vet, I can totally picture the interaction between an old vet stalker and Skif. (I mean literally the interaction between Skif and Korshunov is kinda like that lol) I was pretty disappointed there wasnt even an option to upgrade an AK74 to AKM, you can literally upgrade the Dnipro with AKM bakelite mags and 7.62x39 rechamber.
I found the Spitter to be pretty effective early to mid game actually, since it actually seems to inflict more damage than most ARs. As for the Integral-A (Vector) having .45 conversion, I can confirm. The ammo conversion results in a slight damage increase. But I still find it silly that its mag capacity is only 20 by default.
Great video, very informative! Just subscribed. I absolutely luv the ClusterF#$% and Sledgehammer!!!❤️💪 Both top tier fo sho!!! Buket with AP rounds 2 taps Exo suit armor late game. Its honestly 1 of 3 of the best SMGs in late game. Also really cheap to repair with tons of ammo. RPG is very mid. It doesn't kill mutants faster than any other shotgun.
RPG basically one shots Faust so it's useful for that and the rat killer is easily the best SMG in the game and frankly I'd almost argue it's better than assault rifles since it's penetration is on par with the endgame assault rifles and since it's 9x18 you can hold a shit ton more ammo and it has by far the most readily available ammo in the game with no need for ap ammo even against endgame exo enemies
@@ReapeeRon It's because of the 9x18 AP ammo, it's got a higher damage multiplier than other AP ammos it seems. Most guns drop at most 1 shot to the head to kill against a late game exo, the Buket goes from 4 headshots to 2.
Rat killer should fs be cheeky breeki along w the regular version It takes regular 9x19 amo and has insane penetration You can get the regular version near red forest in a town js have to find a code to open the door Insane damage and penetration with a stupidly big mag
For me every shotgun except the clacker goes into S-Tier instantly. With the boomstick on the lower end, going up to the Saiga-12 on the higher end. The reason is because all these shotguns have one thing in common: they do good or even great damage against mutants. So much so I only really bother upgrading to better shotguns while I stick to a Kalash with upgrades for my long range gun.
Best pistol I found is an upgraded APSB, which basically you can shoot at extreme speed and it has a high cap mag. The by far best gun in the game I found to be a modified Zubr (rat killer with urban camo) with a mag size of 50 (under-barrel type) made to use 9x18mm just like the APSB. This can be used 99% of the time in the game. No other gun is needed. Even at the endgame I used this as primary and railgun only if enough ammo.
got my saiga-12 at the very start of the lesser zone, some exo armor zombies spawned at a random encounter and one had one, took it thinking it was an AK and was about to sell it, saw the caliber and didnt sold it, best decision ive made and those Bloodsuckers with 3 straight headshots are gone for ever
I would definitely put both Drowned and Clusterfuck in at least Stalker's Delight. On the other hand I'd probably put Sofmod in Zone Classic, that red dot kinda sucks. Predator unique shotgun has eight round capacity rather than six, but can't take the magazine upgrade.
I'm telling y'all, a decked out Dnipro with an acog, extended mag, and the 7.62x39mm conversion is the best damn assault rifle/dmr lite you can run. Clusterf*ck might edge it out slightly in certain aspects, but no full auto really hurts it's versatility. The Dnipro can take out burers in about 8-9 headshots. You can drop them before they throw up their psi shield.
Finished my stalker play through with the Khrod, m701, Rhino, sega12, Gauss rifle, and maxed out diamond exo suit. I really felt like a god at the end of my run. Also weird water is by far best artifact imo. Immune to radiation, and +20kg of carrying with the only downside of being drunk which if you’re good is no issue.
One of the things I never heard anybody talk about when it comes to how good the klusterfuk is, is its handling ability. I'll start off by saying yes, it's easy to break, but for me, someone who is always in and out of FOBs, I repair it all the time anyway. It never really gets below 95%. Anyway, I tried the fully modded kharod, fully modded Dnipro, and my fully modded klusterfuk. I can control and be accurate, which translates to putting more rounds On Target in the head, quicker with my klusterfuk than those other two rifles. I don't use it all the time, which is why I run a fully modded Saiga and an apsb as my normal weapons. But when I pull out the klusterfuk, I can one tap the strongest EXO monolithians in Pripyat. It's had VERY LITTLE recoil.
My 2nd playthrough found me decked out with the diamond exo, saiga with the extended mag, a decked out Dnipro and apsb before meeting Dalin and Korshunov. Just finished the swamps, and I've almost got everything fully upgraded. This is the way. Lmao
