When he was released cosmic wasn't the strongest class so he was hyped very much to be the savior of cosmic class but he's only used for prestige show piece and then cgr,herc,hulkling,galan,Adam,vox enters so he's pretty much thrown in the back and only used when he's someone's first 7* or for some weird reason he's someone's Favorite Champion.

@@rebellow He was hyped due to his overall popularity in movies/comics and people including me were exited that how he would look in game with his board and what will be his animations but again no one ranks him for his damage or utility only his prestige matters.

One of my favorite mcoc and overall Marvel characters, awesome.
I think it's actually very underestimated because too many people don't understand how it works to increase its damage and/or don't want to take the trouble to get into the game. If it is played well it hits very very hard and we must not lose sight of the fact that its main damage is direct damage. The surfer thus makes fun of many opponents' immunities or resistances when other champions depend on damage debuffs. In addition, he uses the damage debuffs linked to these immu to strengthen himself, which is quite unique. In terms of power it is more than nice. Another super interesting thing is how you can use the power attack compared to other champions. Many champions need to place a powerful attack to refresh debuffs (Cage and science in general or Kate Bishop etc...) or their buffs (the cosmic ones in particular). If the opponent is too offensive or if his sp is long and/or pushes you too much into the corner it can be complicated and lose the game play. The surfer didn't care because he can activate it in a vacuum while also benefiting from phasing to protect himself. It's still nothing to ensure its effectiveness. We don't always need to have THE biggest damage dealer. If you add to that precisely the phasing to manage annoying sp to avoid, the vigilance to counter the misses, the unblockable sound, the kit is already very cool. We must also not forget the synergies which can be very very useful. In a Doom/CGR/surfer team we have a lot of immunities available and the link between the three makes them even crazier to play. I haven't forgotten a determining element either: It's a game and in a game you have to have fun. Surfer is super fluid to play, super well designed both in its appearance and in the movements or the SP. It matters a lot as well as the background, the history and the place of the character in the comics. He is a legend and that contributes to the general pleasure. is my opinion and it is clear that my surfer 7* will be increased to make it stellar 😎

Just pulled a 7* silver serfer and i cant find any good videos of how to use him. Nobody has a video explaining his rotation, just gameplay but no instructions

So, try to get all three (fury, armor, Combat power rate), fire off sp2 to get unblockable.. when you have power cosmic and hold heavy, you get few sec of phasing.. (attack miss) timing is essential thou.. having 100% immunity to shock, incinerate, and frostbite is nice.. but if it’s more than 100%, Silver Surfer will get damage.. I use him if I need to armor break.. he works vs Havok (keep armor up), Bishop, Peni Parker, Shocker..

@@rebellow I only have 6* Silver Surfer.. rank3.. I use him in BGs and he gets kills vs pesky incinerate, shock, frostbite defenders

You just mentioning why i should definitely play him. He's certainly very good for the hard paths for act 8 along with photon and sunspot (all are 7* versions). He certainly is very underrated as a 7* especially with his immunities to coldsnap, incinerate, shock (haven't tried him against poison champs tho.. like abomination).. he gets increased basic attack damage for the entire fight which makes him quite op for harder match-ups especially as a 7* and his sp-2 and big attacks give out insane damage numbers because of it and also his bacic attack ones as well. He can also gain miss from opponents specials for a second when you do a big attack which is all anyone really needs. There are a lot more benefits and pros when using a 7* Surfer more than the cons which are really quite few, this alone makes him a very good 7* to play with and it's quite simple playing this champion as an attacker for most fights especially in battlegrounds and side quests or in story missions.

Surfer is better for offense and defense. He's more valuable in terms of gameplay compared to vision. Ont he other hand vision is a trophy champion so it all depends on who you value more

When warlocks armor buff is removed he takes more damage basically and his abilities don't work(some of them)
I have him as a Rank 3 7* Sig 200 and I end up surprsing people in BGs , I love the Silver Surfer and this was a purely love rank up for me that is more solid than people realize.
How fast does he do bg fights?
@rebellow In this current Meta I can usually down Majority of Techs and non Armour Break Immune Champs in 30-60 seconds.
I believe he just a boring character to play with overall.

His phase should get increased to atleast 2 secs , more armour break on heavy , buff like Pierce should get added with good damage on enemy block too (something like valk) ,and a cosmic power can get cooldown decreased to 5 secs instead of 9
This is my all suggestions
I honestly think he's fine and balanced. More damage with the sp3s for longer matches and so on. But if they were to change him these are some good changes. Phase lasting so long would be good for avoiding specials and shorter duration for power cosmic would be sweet

Great video I got a 7* version as well! Also one more utility I noticed you didn’t mention is that if you have the Thor Relic on and use it, it gives you a aptitude buff which can also be refreshed when using the power cosmic! If you are able to play right you can almost always have the relic buff on, mine gives an extra 9% potency so adding the sp3 buff and if awakened you could get an easy 34% and up potency!

@@richguev His Awakened ability only adds potency not duration so it doesn’t really matter, if you want to keep the Relic buff for a long time or almost always, try to use the power cosmic buff before it expires or use a SP to get to your relic again quicker or gain another buff like unblockable from SP2 and an Aptitude Buff from the SP3 , in some situations if your able to you could use the relic again right as your relic buff from a previous use is about to expire so try to just balance Specials and Buff gains if you care about the Relic buff yk 👍
