Does this kit include a list of compatible devices for each port by model that you show around 3:30-4:30? Will this be accessible with a database link that you'll continuously update? I probably already have a bulk of these ports already, but it's very annoying and time consuming finding the exact port to fit whatever device when you order the ports by bulk. When it takes longer looking for a port than soldering it, it becomes a problem especially when they want it done same day. I've had a few occasions where the plastic housing or port needed to be modified just to fit.
We compiled a list of devices that each port supports. The list is in no way full or complete. Even factories who make the ports do not know what devices each port works on. One port can support hundreds of devices that may be unknown to us. This is not just about us selling the box, it's more like an ongoing project where we work together to update the list and make it bigger as time goes by. More ports and list of supported devices will be added as more information comes in. The list will be accessible to everyone who bought the box in a form of excel sheet where it will be very easy to search. I've done allot of research for each port and got as much information as i could as per the excel sheet shown in this video. Some factories also contributed to the list. This list will most definitely grow and we'll keep updating the list as time goes by. We all have to all contribute. If you find out that port number 40 works on a Galaxy Tab A and it's not in the list, we'll communicate via either youtube or other means and we'll update the list. If you find out that the box is missing a specific port, we'll update the box by providing the ports for a minimal cost. The box has 44 empty compartments. we'll add more ports as we get them. I think for now, in addition to the list we compiled, Photos will play a big role in finding an unknown port quickly. We flip through the high resolution images to find a port based on shape and pin count. The image will be labeled with a number that refers to compartment number on the box. Well update the list as we get more information. All ideas are welcome and anyone can contribute if you think there is a better way of doing it. I spend allot of time making videos on this channel and sharing knowledge, it's time for everyone to buy the box, support the channel and contribute to this project. I will pin this comment so everyone can read.
I don't know if you thought of it before, but you could try offering internships to area high-school students . They could help with routine tasks or develop repair skills.
Oppo is a subsidiary of BBK Electronics. It is a part of BBK Electronics Corporation along with Vivo, Realme and OnePlus. So, sister company to OnePlus.
I had similar non power-z branded Oled USB meter. I don't like the way it's constructed. Everything sandwiched together. The one in this video feels more sturdy and i'm not afraid to drop it, bigger display and fonts. Cables are well made and flexible. Even the klien meter i showed in this video couldn't compete. That's why we decided to carry this meter along with the 30v USBC adapter and cable. It's the best one I've used by far.
