Ruky, it is only about the soup. It is about a "soup break" instead of a coffee break, preferably around 16:00 (4 PM for Americans).
The wife cheated with the neighbour. In this case the neighbour is part of a wellknown childrens entertainment duo, Bassie & Adriaan. (A clown and a acrobatic guy) Most Dutch people, 25 and older will know them. (They are retired due to age etc)
The optician one, is hard to understand unless you speak Dutch. Lets just say, the officer "saw" a young guy in a sports car.
