- Finally, after three years of putting off my own project I get to see this part realized! It was quite a bit of work but I am satisfied with the way it worked out. For my own project Amen (Release date pending): • Amen - Crookedstar Map...
Background Cats (in order of appearance): BlackClaw & Loudbelly as sentries, Sedgecreek, Ottersplash, and Shimmerpelt on hunting patrol, Deputy Timberfur, Cedarpelt and Skyheart on a second patrol, Mudfur leaving the medicine den, Sunfish taking a nap, Lakeshine saying hi to her daughter, Piketooth giving the queens a fish, Brambleberry checking on Crookedstar, Oakheart playing with Stonekit and Mistkit while Greypool watches, the whole group plus Leopardstar and Reedtail for dinner. All designs are hosted on my blog, / animatewarriorcats .

ALEX THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!! The turnaround timelapse is so well done, and Crookedstar's emotion rwads so clearly. I love the emphasis given to his head nod when he sings, "and I hear you at night". Everything flows so naturally! Your work is a huge inspiration, and you always amaze me with your skill and ingenuity!

You're one of the only animators where you post a 5 sec animation, and i analyze and slow down every. single. frame. Your art is so pleasing to look at, I love it!!! Don't stop improving!!
AAAAAA this is a PURE GOLD!! Every subtle movement telling us about Crookedstar's feelings, his pain of loss...
The turnaround scene really blows my mind, this time passing, cats (we also can tell a lot about them) and, of course, the Crookedstar, turning around so purrfectly (LIKE A 3D.... GOSH.. )
I also want to say about the background details, like, THIS FEATHER IN SILVERKIT SCENE??? This small things brings a lot of life in part!!!
This is so good! I went frame by frame after watching it a few times to catch all the details. Broke my heart when Brambleberry approached him and left defeated, only to try again later in the day with the same outcome. And omg Oakheart with Graypool playing with his kits!! That was heartwarming.
THIS MAP GOT ME TO READ CROOKEDSTARS PROMISE AND NOW HES MY FAV CHARACTER IM SO EXCITED AAA! :D

I love all the background details! Blackclaw sitting on watch during that first clip in the night, then going to bed into the warriors den as day comes. Shimmerpelt, Sedgecreek and Ottersplash going out on patrol as he does so. Graypool and Oakheart playing with a little baby Mistykit n Stonekit. Patrols bringing back fish n sharing it amongst themselves while Crook laments. Brambleberry trying to approach him twice without succession. Just love it all wtf. And that turnaround god damn!!
