The headphone, and most importantly the micro SD card slot are the enormous plus this device offers. It's ludicrous that the Ultra series of phones don't offer a SD card slot.
@@Einaudi-ms5ei It's not evolution to be forced to use something like cloud slorage which costs more money, is unreliable, needs a subscription and most of all is slower. It's not because someone decreeds something as "evolution" that it is. Sometimes we just make mistakes.
the XCover7 is a champ! I've dropped it a couple of times already and it's working flawlessly. Plus, the battery seems to last forever and I haven't seen any lag with the Dimensity processor.
Xcover 6 pro is much better than the xcover 7 though and you may aswell buy that as there similar price it's still got another 3 years security update and 2 os updates left in plus xcover 6 pro comes with Samsung dex where as xcover 7 does not plus better cameras both have the same battery I'm hoping they'll make a xcover 7 pro so I can upgrade from my xcover 6 pro because there xcover 7 is not that
Love the focus on battery life with the XCover 7. Perfect for people who are always on the go! I think the Dimensity 6100+ chip is quite interesting one!!
I got the XCover 5 a couple years ago because of the low maintenance and the size, and I can only wish they made a smaller screen version of these new ones, didn't pick up 6 for the same reason.
Got it today with my new truck as a work phone.Oh man that thing is huge.Very hard to handle and the plastic is slippery.Always on display option is missin in Lock screen ??
Because then it would be more expensive, and let's be real. Most people buying these phones dont need performance but rather a regular phone that will last more than 5 years

the end of sd cards is near

I would have preferred a more higher-performing chip rather than a one made the previous year.

Thanks for a clear detailed review. Does it have two physical SIM slots plus SD card? And what is difference between "Enterprise" edition?

Same here. Have had 5 for many years, still working. Xcover 7 is too big.

Why don't Samsung just make a rugged version of their Galaxy S series phones?

they used to do it
They used to make galaxy S active phones. They were nice
