It's crazy that a woman her age would just decide to start smoking crack. I'm not judging because my mom abused drugs. She used crack when it first came out. She was barely 20 years old. No one knew the full outcome of crack. Here we are in 2020 where everyone knows what crack makes you do. She wanted some dick so bad she started smoking. The cold part is when he was first introduced to the show I looked at his eyes and said he smokes meth or something. Smh 🤦🏾
Nicole Moore I had seen people suggesting his drug habits bc of the long sleeve shirts, etc.. but I didn’t see it.. I was really rooting for him. The whole situation is sad and disappointing, I really hope they get help. Also hope your mom is doing better now

This interview with Geno gives me a different perspective. He doesn’t seem to “tie her into drugs” and be the bad guy everyone portrays. She seems to enable herself.
I'm not sure if he's just a better con than June, but he seems more willing and ready to get clean.
She's definitely lieing about stuff and he's being more honest about how much they're using and how frequently.... And not letting her keep lieing about it either.

I don’t see June changing she is never going to leave him.... and if she ever gets money again it’s going to go in her arms or into her lungs one way or another... she can’t have money at this point her pumpkin or someone should be in control of the money if she ever does come into money again
People do recover. I used to be in her shoes (without the network money), and there’s nothing you could do to make me spend a penny on drugs today. I went to a dual diagnosis treatment, and could not even think like that once I got medication to treat a mental health issue. A few years of relatively normal brain functioning has led to behavior changes and mental clarity. June may not know what her issues are...that’s what doctors are for, but nobody wants to be sick like that. I guarantee it’s not a party at this stage of the game. I hope that she, and all addicted people, will realize they can’t handle this on their own and seek help. At a certain point, there’s nothing to lose, and most people get there. Maybe Geno will leave her when the well dries up; then she’ll take a hard look at things (if she lives that long). Emotional support really helps. Talking about how “gone” and incapable people are doesn’t. Addicts are sick, but we don’t have to stay sick. We need to know there is a whole reasonable person still in us, if we can get back in touch with ourselves, but we need help to do that.

My sister was an addict. She was tired. She couldn’t change, even though she was in America out of rehab . She took her own life in March. Most addicts do not want to be addicts. It’s a mental sickness.
If Geno loved her he’d have insisted on leaving if she didn’t go to rehab. I had a friend who was in their same cycle. She OD’d and he thought she was dead. A cop thankfully revived her narcan. Finally her boyfriend stopped being selfish and he stopped being greedy. He flat out basically said “I’m going to leave you because I love you. If one of us is using, we’ll both be using if we’re together”. Her parents sent her to Colorado and he went to California. They both did quite a few months. When they got out they got back together after a few months in half way houses. Now they’re both sober. They both needed to learn to love themselves first. I actually hated him for many years but gained a lot of respect for him when he did that. It showed he truly loved her.

He got high without her & that sounds like a huge blow up happened over that. Perhaps the day the hotel kicked them out? I believe she is just as dangerous physically to him and he is to her. He was more forthcoming with the truth and she still wanted to lie. It’s quite possible he may see recovery work better than she does since she still refuses the I’m an addict admittance even when forced to say it. You can see it. This will not be the last rehab for her. Geno is not a good guy but if he truly wants to get clean to see his kids I hope it happens

There is a clip on WE where Alanna thinks there is a fountain in the hotel bathroom (its a bidet 🙄), and June and Geno are there. Well. Take a look at Geno's neck...he has a huge, circular lump on the left side....looks like he was shooting up coke in his neck. Unbelievable that they filmed him like that. That's when I knew he and June were on drugs.

It’ll be two years for me Christmas Day 2020, the last time I did coke or had a drink was Christmas Day 2018, I did it without rehab or anything like that, I just stopped one day and never went back.
