Hi I just so happened to see that your blazer has a antique fl tag. How were you able to get that. I am currently working on getting a M1009 and i keep reading articles that any former military vehicles are not allowed on public road ways in florida other than events or parades.. I am trying to get the one I amd getting and use it for both my daily trips to work and for offroading.
They give out the blue antique plates for anything over 25yrs. They have the former military plate, but it's only if you choose it, and full it a special application. I originally wanted this, but yes you're correct, only parades and shows
That shouldn't be a 700R4. Someone "upgraded" it. They came with TH400s. As I learned recently, the major issue with those is the vacuum pump, which is located where a distributor would normally be. I think these get about the same mileage with a 3 speed or a 4 speed.
Correct, it was upgraded to a 700R4 (I believe that's probably the first time ever anybody said a 700R4 is an upgrade LOL) It does make it nice on the highway, seems to look along just nicely at 70 to 75
I definitely own it, I also have a review video of it as well. As for selling it, finding this m1009 was like winning the lottery. I doubt I would ever find one this nice again. I'll tell you what, if I ever get a million subscribers, I'll give it away! Only 999, 416 to go!
Check out Quadstar Tuning, Leroy Diesel, Unique Diesel Marine, XDP Diesel and Oregon Fuel Injection for all your 6.2 & 6.5 Diesel needs.

Dude, that’s an awesome ride. I enjoy seeing it drive in at work! Why didn’t you put in a drain in the transmission pan?
I thought about it, but then again I doubt I'll have that trans long enough to need to change the fluid. Plus that's one more thing to leak
@@ExoticCarDIY And now you see why it didn't come with one originally 😂
Yes LBZ would be killer!
Lbz have gotten really hard to find. Lots of old lb7s and lly etc. I'll keep looking
@@ExoticCarDIY if I find one I'll send the info your way.
I'm willing to buy M1009 cucv.
If you own it, please contact me when you sell it.
