This is the most satisfying video I've ever seen
2 popular youtubers eh epic
HI DAD
ITS REALLY YOU!!!
Hello it is I
The key holder for me! But the car is still sick
This car is not going anywhere the rest of its life, a garage queen for sure
Indeed. Which kind of annoys me how many rare parts were wasted on this car. Yes. Wasted.
It's really sad if you think about it.
Bet it's gonna be locked up, sitting pristine as it is in some collectors garage never to be seen again in public.
@@Andreasy2 I am 100% behind preserving and maintaining such rare and special machines in immaculate and road worthy condition but it is truly sacrilegious to not drive them as they were meant to be driven.
@Arturo Orozco My dad still drives his 1 of 10 A80 Supra lol
Well that aint worth it, keeping this for the garage. For once, a rare car like this needs to be pushed to its limits. Track it, not keep it in the garage
One day I’ll do this to one of my cars. Amazing video!
Car looked flawless
Randyyyyy u cute little man
Yess randy do this ylto your r32 bit you cant keep anything stock 😂
Hi dad
Lmao u ricer
It's honestly crazy to me that there were not only new, in box parts available for this car, but that these guys were able to find so many of them to make this car factory fresh again.
Seriously, hats off to these guys, this is what dedication to your craft looks like, and it preserves incredible and iconic machines like these into the future.
Literally lost counts on how many times I've said "wow" to myself. When the covers were removed on the refinished wheels, my goodness....So glad this channel popped up on my feed.
Those wheels blew my nuts off.
A set of LMGT1's in that condition go for 10K easy especially if they were restored by the Omori Factory themselves.
Same thing here!
I’m honestly in awe at the attention to detail that you guys gave to this 400R. Absolutely stunning.
Lucky person to own this beauty!
And rich!
Madbull Mike Facts
I bet for the same price he would’ve owned an R34 GTR NUR
Connoisseur Of Cars & Tig Ol Bitties He might already own one. ; )
@@Madbull_Mike This car must be around 70.000 euros.
ElectronicRedPanda r34 nür isn’t base model lol.
I'm currently restoring my R33 Skyline GTS-T. By far not as special as this one, but still a childhood dream come true. Seeing a video like this makes me super excited to realize how far I've come, and how she will eventually turn out. Thanks for this great video, detailing a 400R would be a dream come true and a total labour of love.
These guys must have a whole warehouse of salvageable used parts.
What I would do to be able to build a a croooober edition 400r from that warehouse
Nahh, most owners usually would keep the old parts for spares or just for keepsake
@@HNRichard Successful people don't hoard stuff they just buy newer stuff. The people who buy these cars want the nostalgic experience as if they were buying these new from back in the day.
Nissan actually has a heritage parts program. You can even buy RB26 engines new. nismodirect.com/heritage-parts/
Or they bin it
The key holder just blew my mind. That shows that this isn't just business to y'all. You guys really love what you do. I'm glad people like you do what you do with these vehicles and bring them back so meticulously, I'm also glad there are people like your clients who care enough to foot what I'm imagining is a rather large bill, too allow such art to take place.
Im willing to bet this entire service, plus OE parts, costed about as much as an Entire R33 GTR.
Gilberto Santos maybe original price, not current day price... try to find one anywhere near original price.
Definitely more mate.
It would have cost more than that......i've been buying parts to restore my R33, and some of these parts they have are ultra rare and impossible to find....most of them you have to go to suppliers who have hidden stock. even just all those small interior pieces like the center tray, arm rest, shifter surround, etc...youre talking hundreds of dollars per piece...let alone headlights, spoiler blade, bumper, bonnet, wheel, etc....I bet this cost more than an average GTR just in parts price alone.
you mean as much as an entire r34.
This client is smart af. He restore everything back to original, after 5 - 10 years. Resell it for 3x or even more
This car deserves that much work and attention to detail. Good job guys!
my heart feels so happy watching a 400r getting restored to its full glory
Straight up these guys are artists.
I'm glad that, someone with a lot of money.. restoring this such a rare car..
Facts im also happy they left the car in white only thing is i'd have those Nismo wheels be like a brushed silver but I get that they're authentic rare wheels though.
Restoration 🧐🧐🧐. look like they're replacing everything
The distance you go for your customers show your wonderful work ethic. Thank you!
This video was so satisfying to watch, especially the interior video with all the new parts
Those floor mats and the integra type R floor mats have got to be the best looking mats ever.
Great job !!! Lucky person to own this beauty !! I want one ☝🏻
I’m curious how much this project cost out the door $$$
I wonder how much is...
Dr. Evils's voice..."ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!"
its more than that dude probably around or over 2.5mil
You could buy a 2 Lamborghini Huracan but i rather buy this and Daily it
@Scott Durning well for sure it cost 1M lol I'd only drive this in car meets and important occasion
this has to be the best job in the world - absolutely bliss!
This video is the definition of perfection so pure and amazing in so many ways. The attention to detail is flawless.
If you told me I could have any car ever made, but only one and one forever, it would be a 400R. Incredible.
This put a smile on my face while you guys were restoring the 400R :). Nice choice of music too. Even the jazz reminded me of old 90's Japanese auto videos and Gran Turismo. Amazing job on the restoration everywhere.
These people are the reason why we still find excellent condition second hand parts. And dang, R33 is the most beautiful Skyline for me!
Tommyfyeah, Corner Balanced and Obsessed Garage likes this 👍🏻
Definitely Fyeah Spec!
I love your JDM Restoration Videos. Truly a joy to watch and enjoy!
mhh i see small scraches, just change the entire piece. what they did with the used parts?
Probably sold them to offset the cost
I've watched this movie at least 10 times and it still is so satisfying! Can't get enough of it
"the existing one is abit tired looking" - Literally every single one of those is mint by used condition standards haha
Between you’re guys hard work and the owners no spared expense. This car is a gem.
I wanted to know which billioner (again) ordering this gorgeous monster? Damn it!
probably scrooge mcduck since hes the only one who can afford it
This around 80k...
You don’t need to be a billionaire to have a 400R LOL
@@boseth_hewawaduge don't get me wrong man, it just my way to expressed how precious that car. I'm not really talking about numbers, well if you know what I mean, otherwise just skip it.
@@michaelkush7062 More like 200k
One of the best videos I’ve watched on the tube! Satisfied
That key holder, so awesome! Love love love these videos and the 400r has a special place in my car heart :) Thanks for sharing AND inspiring! Greets from the Netherlands
This car is not going anywhere the rest of its life, a garage queen for sure
@@jacobzeif7055 not necessarily a bad thing. "But cars are meant to be driven wahhh boohoo!" So what? This one example will sit nice and pretty in a loving protective home?
I come back every so often and watch this video.. I’ll never be able to afford one of these 400r’s but I’ll be getting an r33 gtr and to give it this treatment would be the dream
Excellent guys good job👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Brand new dash..... this channel enver fails to surprise me with the attention to detail. Truly, no expense spared. Respect to the owners of these machines, though I doubt they see the light of day once handed over!
Just to put things into perspective, that oil cap in box as shown goes for 800 USD... silly I know but it's supply and demand.
BRUH 800 USD!!! well.. im glad that i aent into nissans and gtrs
In utter awe at your appreciation for the history
great job! makes me wanna detail my car, not to this extent but inspiring for sure. Especially that Type S S2000 one!
This is one of, if not my favorite video on RUclips. What a phenomenal job! 🔥🔥🔥
So beautiful but what’s the point of having it this perfect. I rather drive the hell out the car instead of dealing with anxiety every time I see a rock pebble on the road.
You really think this car is seeing the road ever again?
lmao
Right? Isn't that the sole purpose of a car?
@@Syncopia Not these. Rare vintage mechanical artworks like these become collectibles and museum showpieces decades later. Not every car is worthy, just the iconic cars that seemed to mascot the eras they were built and released in. This car already had its time being driven rough and well. If it can retire as a magnificent specimen of its lineage, then it's worth it for it to be maintained carefully. Used only for car shows, car meets and other special events, artworks like these are to be transported enclosed in trucks and not driven about daily. That's not why one does a restoration job that would cost upwards of 100k. Besides even as an investment, this would eventually reach the $400k mark, maybe more. I love that about automobiles.
This was so satisfying to watch. The 400R is such a rare car, so to see the exacting standards of this restoration makes me appreciate the quality of work required.
It looks so good that I'd never drive it....
Exactly this is just gunna stay in someone's garage for ever
Yeah if I owned one I'd be so scared to drive it and mess up something on it
Gonna slowly rot in some garage in Cali
@@Syncopia that makes me cry, alot
The owner actually drives it so good news.
the attention to detail at this restauration is out of this world!
If I were to get on the passenger side, I would ask for permission to breathe!
I stopped watching porn, for this porn.
Yeah we can’t get away
Easier to explain than porn, but harder to hide this massive erection
This is my opinion but you guys need to join forces with five star car stereo! For y'all's restoration to work and making the automobile look extremely brand new honestly I haven't seen a show on the Internet or TV that would match y'all well besides Overhaulin and trick my truck but they have nothing on you guys that's just my opinion! I'm also sorry if I did comment on this video before but deep detailing and the great length of the extension of what you guys go through is just simply breathtaking there are no words to describe what you all do but I'm glad y'all exist! :D
Normal people: oh it has a 0.5 scratch
Contempo Concept: R E P L A C I N G T I M E
Had to watch this again for the 4th time. So worth the effort. The key holder you made for the customer is such an elegant touch. Amazing
This video is next level! Wow!
These guys are the "Maestro's of Magic" when it comes to vehicle restoration and paint perfection. If I ever got a car that needed restoration or bringing it back to "like new" condition, I would seek out their services for it. That older NISMO badge in blue looks incredible. I wish Nissan had continued to use that older style badge, which in my opinion, looks WAY better than the modern NISMO badging. When they do finally come out with a Nissan "Proto" Z (or 400Z, whatever they are gonna call it in production form), they should definitely use the older style NISMO badging on it. That would be the "icing on the cake" so to speak.
So much effort are put into this great car and video i really enjoyed watching 💙💙
What can I say? This restoration was fantastic. There's just something about this video that really stands out, other than the car of course. It might have been the working environment or something, but even that was nice. The car looked amazing when it was restored. I'd definitely love to drive either one of these or an R33 GT-R / GT-R VSpec. I can understand where you come from when you say that installing the shift knob is extremely satisfying. Just being able to add that final bit of touch to the car is nothing short of incredible when you've done all the hard work.
Damn this should be rated 18+ ! this is carpornography ...
GIVE ME MORE SENPAI ! :D
I have seen hundreds of restorations but this one is the best. Is like a new car.
This seems more of a replacing than a restoration.
Outstanding! Probably the most expensive 400R in the world now!
Its beautiful but I feel like it will never get driven since it's so perfect now..
Perfect quality of workmanship. Period.
“Kneesmo” lol
That’s a more accurate pronunciation of it. You say the beginning the same way you say nissan. “Knee-San” “kneesmo” not “neez-mo”
@@crxkid16 americans pronounce it knee-san, rest of the world pronounces it nis-san lol
It’s always satisfying and soothing when I am seeing the legendary car like this eventually come back to life ❤
did the subtitles actually say "Knees Moe" instead of Nismo lmfao
Well, that's how he pronounced it.
its auto-generated dummie
One of the best detailed videos I’ve seen
Absolutely beautiful, my dream car, what a weapon, 16 minutes of car porn this is............Great job, well done guys.
That car is a masterpiece. Nismo always do an incredible job in these exclusive models.
Me: so how much did it costs?
Contempo: yes
Wow. Lucky new owner, and an outstanding restoration job. If that doesn’t deserve a like, I don’t know what does!
Song at 14:33?
Litos - Pensando En Ti
R33 has always been my Favorite. And the 400R is the rarest sexiest version of it IMO. This video was better viewing for me than anything on Netflix. Amazing work
Get tommyfyeah in here.
that fool wouldn't be able to afford the wheels.
@@Songtester Well, i wouldn't know. His finances are generally none of my business. I'm just here for the cars.
RBX GT2 I think he already owns a pair of NISMO LM’s 😆 😂
Connoisseur Of Cars & Tig Ol Bitties he owns two lmao
@@Songtester like you'd know, lad has heaps of parts you'd only dream about
Wowwwww. Just wow. Between this, and the NA2 Type R video, I'm not sure which one I love/want more!! Not to mention, Metabo tools...Metabo tools too? My kind of shop! Sublime work!
All that trouble & effort & then impact gun on the wheel nuts 😬
Blasphemy!!
I love your no expense spared restorations
Ladys and Gentleman, this is a R33.
Now shut up with your overhyped R34 Brian O'Conner cars...
Fucking finally. A man of truth, R34s are the real fucking boats here
Oh god thank you. A man of culture finally. The R33 is in my opinion the best looking GTR
The R33 GT-R for whatever reason is never held in the same regard as either the R32 or R34 GT-Rs, I think people who disregard the 33 aren't really Skyline fans personally.
I mean just look at this 400R, it's stunning.
@@Bertgarrpin it got shit on because the r32 was a big jump. it was Godzilla. it won everything. R33 came out and was a redesign but not much change, the r34 had a lot of improvments and when it was released it would be the last GTR people thought it was the best. I think base for base, i prefer the r33. but some of the R34 nur and vspec's are cool.
Rare cars like this deserve this type of resto.
Nah, this actually pissed me off at how much of the original parts were replaced for no reason. Original = higher value .
Car collectors are a weird bunch.
Syncopia it baffles me sometimes. More money than sense I presume. And I thought they were the connoisseurs of original 🧐🤨 XD
This car is a capsule of Japanese craftsmanship. How iconic
Man I love the attention to detail in these restorations. So jealous of the owners of the cars that come out of this shop.
Love the Gran Turismo music in the background. Fitting.
Belongs in a museum!
Perfection achieved and then some!
So much satisfaction
Flawless work, above and beyond service
The kind of attention to detail this car deserves. Great vid.
Wow, great job on the restore on the R33. Great attention to detail and I loved watching every step you guys made along the way!
As much as i like these Old cars driven and a little of driving story shown on the car be it the body or interior, this has been such a satisfying video to watch and for once I'd wish to do this to my car one day.
That's just a very satisfying to watch. Good craftmanship!
This is amazing! Please don't stop doing these videos! This is ASMR for the car community!
Literally the next level of restoration
Watching this gave me joy
These Advan wheels are so beautiful... and the fitment is perfect for a track use! Congrats to the winner.
All that detail work...almost afraid to ask how much it was. Apparently, it was well worth it!
Dude you guys are so legit, this what I like to see
Not going to lie, this actually brought a tear to my eyes.
STUNNING work. I used to LOVE this car in the old Gran Turismo games.
It is so satisfying to see so many genuine parts that could be found and ordered, especially for this rare model. Great job!
Great job ! So satisfying to see brand new parts finding their new home.
I think I have watched this video 4-5 times now, this is truly my #1 dream car
Simply stunning! The 400R is definitely a Japanese Unicorn.
One of the most satisfying videos I have ever watched! This Nismo is piece of art, awesome work!
