This scene reminded me of a story I have. One time a family friend from church came over to visit and stay the night, when the very first thing he asked my mom was "... you're not pregnant.. are you?" (insinuating that she had put on weight), MY SISTER got offended while my mom took it as a compliment, as she had been loosing a lot of weight to stress at the time.. this might be a shock to some people, but every woman reacts to things their own way..

Pam totally knows that Dwight doesn’t have an ounce of malice in his words - he’s just saying what he feels, and it is in his nature to be direct and upfront. She doesn’t expect him to change for her, and mutually appreciates him for what he is. That, my fellow fan, is the kind of friendship that all of us want but only a lucky few are blessed to get.

As the show progressed everybody got hotter. I think it was because they had more money for makeup and the show was so successful that they all got rich so they became rich people hot.
I've noticed this with most shows I've watched. The actors/characters tend to look better in the later seasons. Is it done intentionally in order to leave room for aesthetic growth over the duration of the series? Or do the makeup artists automatically gravitate towards increased beauty standards for every character, the same way the characters themselves seems to become exaggerated caricatures of what they originally were?
except the office was never cancelled and did really well throughout all seasons. It did have a couple of low points but in the end they pushed through and kept their ratings high, if not stable. End of the last season was good and Most of the actors came to the end of the show on good terms.

I think she was attractive only when she got a promotion and was the office administrator - she dressed better. I think she was almost the only young girl in the office and a lot of men are attracted to shyness and that's why she got so much attention but in the first couple of seasons she dressed and looked poorly.
she looked way better with the straight hair rather than that curly and frizzy red hair but of course when she looked like that i have to consider the quality of the camera was a lot less advanced at that time so that is a factor that would make her look a little plain but she was an amazing character with a lot of talent to offer the show regardless and i loved how she changed in the show. Her and Jim changed the most out of any person in the show.
