Roger was enjoying his work as a Salvos Stores volunteer in Perth and soon after, he applied for a casual position at the store. ⁣

As he was new to the city, he thought that volunteering would be a good way to learn about the city and meet people from all aspects of life. ⁣

“Volunteering is very important because it is a way to give back to the community. Being able to help them when they’re need, it gives me a sort of fulfilment as person,” he shares. ⁣
