(Apologies - I try to stick to one comment per video.) This season has been difficult for me as a huge fan of both Paul Dalla Lana and Ben Keating. Who do I root for? I'm mainly an IMSA guy, so I see a lot of Ben Keating (dude is lightning this year in an LMP2!), but Paul is the personification of the pure joy of the race. Whatever position he finishes, he always seems happy as hell with it. (And as a big guy, he represents me!) Ben is also all about the joy, the obsession with driving, and both are incredibly skilled Am drivers, fully capable of a pro pace, and true models of sportsmanship. Ben had his 2019(?) Le Mans victory taken because of a slight error in fuel capacity, and he was so graceful about it. True gentlemen both.
Which circuit layout is this? Is this actually the "endurance" layout or the regular Grand Prix layout? And also, could you please improve the audio quality of the broadcasted radio messages, at least on the Hypercars and P2 Pro/GTE Pro entries? Call me spoiled, but I am used to F1 and Formula E broadcasting and the sound of radio communications being broadcast in those races. And thirdly - if "Kuba" is short for Jakub, does that mean that Kubica would translate to Jacobson?

WEC are you aware that the MotorTrend coverage in America is horrendous.. I tuned into MT to watch the 6 hours of Bahrain as it was listed on the channel just to see a marathon of 2 guy garage.. MotorTrend is failing epically covering your sport..
As said above, it'll still be processing the higher quality settings. You'd expect it to be faster with the supercomputers google have but unfortunately not
It's always the same story: WEC is not important enough, these privateer teams run Le Mans in the hope of a shock result, and some WEC races in preparation, only to not be seen again until next year.

u are correct teammates and blue flaged cars sometimes do that... in this case he was moving sides in braking zone and gave the signal so teammate would brake early.
Please help! I have just watched a pit stop and the mechanic undid the wheelnut while the car was still being refuelled, I understood no-one could touch the car during refilling cos of the possibility of sparks. Has this changed?
Comment on liveries: Ferrari, red, tradition, whatever. Yawn. It's so cliche that getting a red sports car is the icon for a mid-life crisis. I think the Cetilar Ferrari looks beautiful in blue, and the #83 looks even better in that chrome silver. And Toyota, I'm no artist, but even I can think of a bunch of paint schemes that would have flattered that hypercar more than the generic Gazoo livery, which hides it's unique style. I try to imagine that car in any solid color, and I see wheel pods and fenders, I see curves, I see a huge homage to muscular sports cars of old. It's a mean, threatening-looking car made up to look like a flying billboard for Gazoo Racing that actually hides Toyota's coolest product in many years. If that's now Toyota's flagship race car, I think they need to give it a livery re-design and pass that down the line to the other Gazoo teams. Highlight those audacious wheel pods! Accentuate the curves! Make it look like the space ship that it is!
Everyonw has their own taste. I think a Black ans Yellow GR010 would look good too and I am a big fan of a Black and green ferrari livery. But I do like the Red and white on the Toyota. Red simply is the traditional colour of Toyota and Ferrari so it makes sense that they use it. Calling it a "midlife - crisis" colour is simply childish in my honest opinion.
Love that you guys post the race replays, but surely there’s been a mistake with the upload resolution here? I don’t think it takes 18 hours for RUclips to encode this. Even 720 would be bearable!
GTE pro is a joke hopefully when gt3 come there will be more of pro guys... and BOP hmm its Balance Of Performance but in wec its used to punish some1 who is wining its sad!
@@Maenfy yes they do, they have raced for years, in GT1 and GT3. They always came over for Spa (in the days when it was 24hrs and prior to Le Mans) and Le Mans. You wonder if they will bother next year when there is no pro class cos I wouldn't if I were them. WEC have ruined the series.

Hello Thanks for replying but I didn't say WEC ran the series in the days of GT1. I do however think that since WEC took over the running of the series it is dying on its feet, only two teams in P1 one of which run the only hybrid cars, they constantly downgrade the power in the cars so that soon the only cars eligible to run will be Peaugot 203 and what is this obsession with am drivers? They should trying to entice Jaguar, McLaren et al . I watch the 12 hours at Bathurst and there are Bentleys there (they even won!) someone took the trouble to make the race attractive to attend, that is what WEC should be doing, specially as F1 is now so boring

@@abyss18 probably complains why LMP2 is only Oreca. I mean Oreca has built the best chassis. Ligiers apparently are a sec slower and the Dallara has reliability issues (apparently)

youtube encoding, usually with smaller videos it doesnt take long so you dont notice it but every video has to be encoded after it gets uploaded

At 2:16:03 the passing Ferrari turned on its blinker/turn signal to slide in front it's teammate? is it a signal or it is something else?

They never raced in WEC except this year to get a decent BoP for the C8
