Tomtoc knocked it out of the park with this one. I reshelled my Steam Deck with Jsaux's transparent shells and it looks great in this case

If they could add a rubber sealing ring around the lid and a rubber hatch to the charge port, making it completely sealed and water proof, then it would be perfect.

This is the case I went with as I prefer to use the deck with no grips. So far I love it. I do wish they had a some way to store an extra micro sd though…

@@Limitbreak09 Sooooo the X is like an Ally 1.5. Kinda like an OLED Steamdeck situation where if you LOVED the original Ally then the X is an OK upgrade if you’re a die hard fan. If you DONT have an Ally already and NEED a windows handheld then the X is the better option imo. Having tested the Legion Go, Ally, and the Claw and the Ayaneo 2S, so far the Ally is probably still my pick given its accessibility and software. That being said- Windows on a handheld ages like rotten milk. It just seemingly gets worse or more annoying as time goes on. So if you haven’t, watch some reviews of the X and the OLED steamdeck. I have a review of the original Ally and the OLED deck if you like, but if you just want a good handheld, go Steamdeck.

@@XXIVCONCEPT I actually have The trifecta Handheld Rog ally, Steam deck, and Legion. 2 being a gift and 1 i bought. So far tho i do have a use case for all the 3 lol 😆. Rog ally used to be my #1 but after using the legion go and sd it dropped down to #3. #1 legion and #2 the SD oled. Legion go was at the last bottom before, only because that abysmal sharp edges of the controller makes me NOT wanna use it. It so uncomfortable after like 15 mins! But voila! This grip i bought from etsy solve the problem! The grip is as good as the steam deck oled now! But i agree with you. If i need to suggest a handheld gaminh console to a casual, i would definitely say get the steam deck oled. The comfort of the ergonomics, the ease of use of the software, the play pause option is incredible, and most dont really mind playing abovr 30 fps.
