A guy came over when I was doing pulls and gave me some advice about my form, and I am so happy and thankful he did! He helped me avoid injury vs letting me do the lift incorrectly. I am not saying this doesn't happen frequently. But there is something that is always left out of the war of sexes, and that is female competition. Female competition is more brutal than male competition. Men can build their own houses, but women have to compete with each other for the man who can build the house. And that is done through physical attraction. Any woman who is a 6 or over can testify to just how nasty women act towards attractive women. There is a great demonstration how women & men and women act towards beautiful women in a movie called Melana. Women hate others who are more attractive than them. Attractive women often cannot work for female bosses. If you want to see this in action, I tell people to run an experiment. Have a guy go to a group of 4 or more women and randomly tell one of them one is more attractive than the other and watch what happens. This is also why insecure women can't be honest about rating their attractiveness. It isn't just about what the men think, they don't want to position themselves lower on the attractive index than the other women, therefor give attractive women more power. Even when beautiful women tell you that pretty privilege is a privilege that isn't worth it, and is a lonely existence and having to always navigate a minefield, less attractive women will still insist that their lives are easier and everything is handed to them and is still preferable, because it is a form of power. They complain how they are invisible, don't get cat called, lie about how many men want them, lie about the status ir quality of the men that want them, and lie about how many of them they have turned down. This is why you see women demand that they should be taken to a 5 star restaurant on a first date.This is why tthey create shaming and misogynistic terms like "pick me", which is usually towards attractive women, because attacking a woman's reputation is their weapon. They are trying to create a false narrative in their competition against other women that they have the power and attractiveness to set such high standards that they are in a position above other women that they don't have to settle and are at the top of the data market to warrant such treatment. When people say that women actually do these things for other women, it doesn't mean positive affirmation or bonding, it is a power play. and female competition. That is what this girl is trying do. Attractive women don't have to seek mens attention, they get it whether they want it or not. A lot of this behavior will make more sense if people understand female competition.
Personally would perfer separate male and female gyms or divided in some way. It's not just the recording but overly sexual outfits, the flirting so they take longer using the equipment, etc.

My local gym had the cops called because some chick kept recording in front of this roided out man that showed up almost 5 times a week. Long story short, she got her nose remodeled after she tried to accuse him of sexual assault. Because he accidentally bumped into her tripod and knocked it over, went to pick it up and that's when she started with the accusations. I mean...she was half right, She just made it into normal assault. She didn't record ever again.
I've been trying to get my brother -- happily married, with a young daughter -- to start working out at home, rather than going to the gym. He is aware that false accusations are totally a thing. But he says his gym hasn't had any problems in the entire time he's been a member. I'm concerned because it takes just one -- ONE -- bad apple. I do recall him saying something about buying a bodycam. So I am somewhat relieved.
Some gyms are noticing a trend (namely, their bottom line is going lower and lower with men canceling memberships in measurable numbers) and starting to ban filming in the gym. Way too late, of course, but it's happening. I have four friends within a 20 minute walk who built home gyms that I have access to. Some people stand to lose VERY lucrative jobs on even a flippant, frivolous allegation so it's more cost effective to spend 10-15k on a home gym rather than lose a 170k a year job. That second woman has NOTHING to fear. In fact, if a man IS looking at her Big Shirley arse, that *_would_* qualify him as a creep (with poor taste, to boot).

In every gym I have been in has had a no recording policy, and had a designated room or area that you could do it, usually with nothing but a few yoga mats and mirrors in there. It is supposed to be for physique documentation, not working out.

If I owned a gym, no one would be allowed to have a camera on them. IDGAF. No cameras, no selfies, no videos, nothing. Just the security cameras.

I hate this! I started working out about 15 years ago and started at Planet Fitness. A guy came over when I was doing pulls and gave me some advice about my form, and I am so happy and thankful he did! He helped me avoid injury vs letting me do the lift incorrectly. The mid 2000s was a different time culturally for sure..

Basically the reason they're upset that you looked at them it's because their ego believes that they should have better looking men than you looking at them and by you looking at them they see that as you believe you have a chance with them and that's an insult in their head. I am not saying this doesn't happen frequently. But there is something that is always left out of the war of sexes, and that is female competition. Female competition is more brutal than male competition. Men can build their own houses, but women have to compete with each other for the man who can build the house. And that is done through physical attraction.
Any woman who is a 6 or over can testify to just how nasty women act towards attractive women. There is a great demonstration how women & men and women act towards beautiful women in a movie called Melana. Women hate others who are more attractive than them. Attractive women often cannot work for female bosses.
If you want to see this in action, I tell people to run an experiment. Have a guy go to a group of 4 or more women and randomly tell one of them one is more attractive than the other and watch what happens. This is also why insecure women can't be honest about rating their attractiveness. It isn't just about what the men think, they don't want to position themselves lower on the attractive index than the other women, therefor give attractive women more power. Even when beautiful women tell you that pretty privilege is a privilege that isn't worth it, and is a lonely existence and having to always navigate a minefield, less attractive women will still insist that their lives are easier and everything is handed to them and is still preferable, because it is a form of power.
They complain how they are invisible, don't get cat called, lie about how many men want them, lie about the status ir quality of the men that want them, and lie about how many of them they have turned down. This is why you see women demand that they should be taken to a 5 star restaurant on a first date.This is why tthey create shaming and misogynistic terms like "pick me", which is usually towards attractive women, because attacking a woman's reputation is their weapon. They are trying to create a false narrative in their competition against other women that they have the power and attractiveness to set such high standards that they are in a position above other women that they don't have to settle and are at the top of the data market to warrant such treatment. When people say that women actually do these things for other women, it doesn't mean positive affirmation or bonding, it is a power play. and female competition.
That is what this girl is trying do. Attractive women don't have to seek mens attention, they get it whether they want it or not. This is a very insecure girl trying to create a fantasy that she is desireable, and prove to other girls that she has power and status too and doesn't have to work for it.
A lot of this behavior will make more sense if people understand female competition.

Personally would perfer separate male and female gyms or divided in some way. It's not just the recording but overly sexual outfits, the flirting so they take longer using the equipment, etc.

My local gym had the cops called because some chick kept recording in front of this roided out man that showed up almost 5 times a week. Long story short, she got her nose remodeled after she tried to accuse him of sexual assault. Because he accidentally bumped into her tripod and knocked it over, went to pick it up and that's when she started with the accusations.

Some gyms are noticing a trend (namely, their bottom line is going lower and lower with men canceling memberships in measurable numbers) and starting to ban filming in the gym. Way too late, of course, but it's happening. I have four friends within a 20 minute walk who built home gyms that I have access to. Some people stand to lose VERY lucrative jobs on even a flippant, frivolous allegation so it's more cost effective to spend 10-15k on a home gym rather than lose a 170k a year job. That second woman has NOTHING to fear. In fact, if a man IS looking at her Big Shirley arse, that *_would_* qualify him as a creep (with poor taste, to boot).

There was a "men's only" gym north of Chicago area. It was powerlifting/bodybuilding gym. Filthy like hell, old equipment, chalk dust everywhere, dirty floors, torn carpet. Deafening music. Unfortunately, it was too far for me. It was heaven. There very few women there. They closed years ago.

As a married woman, I’d love a gym that has separate sections for men and women. I have no desire to be surrounded by men when working out and I know my husband would be more comfortable working out surrounded by those same men. There’s nothing wrong with the that!

In every gym I have been in has had a no recording policy, and had a designated room or area that you could do it, usually with nothing but a few yoga mats and mirrors in there. It is supposed to be for physique documentation, not working out.

The gym I've been going to for seven years outright banned members from recording themselves. The only time someone can be filmed is when they're working with a trainer, and no one else can be in the shot. That's why I love locally-owned gyms.

My gym has a strict no filming during workout policy! It's great! And if you need to be filmed for your form review later, just ask an employee and they will help you.
