I haven't seen the film in years, I didn't realise that the forearms are accurate. I still think it looks bad though. Ben mentioned the posability difficulties in alt mode several times. I really think ratchet joints were the right way to go there.

I don't understand how the size bothers people so much when it comes with a scaled Prime. I'm getting this figure because it checks off all the desired categories, insane looking dino, insane looking robot & insane transformation hold the kibble. The paint job is really really nice in my opinion & breaths character into the monotone pallet the dinobots got for the movies. Sure there are cheaper options for Grimlock if that's what you are looking for but these things do sell out and become almost impossible to get so when you see something you know you need don't sit on it too long ;) I hope to see a cool version of the rest of the dinobots as well, especially Slag
I like my bm grimlock and its $140 cheaper. This g creations grimlock does look good. In comparison with the mase covering the top half of bm grimlock you can't see the difference. Even though this one looks good I can't see myself spending the extra $140 for this. Great review
Great review Ben! This figure looks absolutely phenomenal! This is by far the definitive movie Grimlock. I hope G-Creation keep making movie figures. Love to see them make a Scorn!
I can't believe they risked a custom mold, and it far outpaces the official mold. The tail was always the biggest issue, and seriously. Screen accuracy be damned. I'm glad they turn into coat tails. The whole figure is 10/10.

By "Metal Series" does that mean that this company is planning more heavily dicast usage in future figures, or does that refer to the metallic skeletal designs of the Bayverse dinobots and we're finally on track to get a complete set of 3rd Party prehistoric badassness? I'm hoping for the latter.

Ok so just a theory but the dinobots are the color they are in AOE because of how long they’ve been captured I personally feel they all have their G1 color way because they have exclusive g1 color way for aoe dinobots
Actually, it's not.. you can tell the large spikes on his arms aren't his dino feet because during his transformation sequence. His Dino feet were already transformed and on the ground before those arm spikes disappeared into his dino legs.

19:20 I actually prefer that scaling for MPM. I didn't like in the movie how the Dinobots dinosaur modes scaled to the Autobots about the same as real dinosaurs scale to humans. I prefer the G1 scaling where the Dinobots dinosaur modes were the same size as real dinosaurs.
Best Grimlock transformation i love the idea they made with the weapon... Hoping still someone will make Grimlock movie version (age of extinction) that has G1 transformation style...

That's the best movie Grimbo in figure form, but unfortunately way too expensive for me to order with shipping on top. If someone was selling him at a convention I might bite, but ya know how things are right now :(
Little Prime is amazing. Legs and feet are better. Dino mode is amazing. Extra detail in areas is great. But..... The colour is way off, which is odd because one of the early release shots showed him with a much better colour, but I guess it was going to be too expensive or time-consuming. The dino heads in robot mode look odd, and the mace is not great. I painted up a BM one and in robot mode its the best I have seen to match the film. The only thing I am not happy with is the feet and the mace tip does not match the film.
I don't know🤔, dino mode is definitely the best we have seen so far, but the robot mode looks weird. I think the bmb/wj robot mode is better overall. And for 240 Usd it's insanely expensive.
I just realize how big grimlock is compare to optimus in the movie even tho i dont think that at t-rex is should be that enormous compare to a transformer who basically a giant.

People who design body tranformation was genius, many detail, amazing creating.
I was looking thru the movie Grimlocks, he's one of the few movie TFs I'd like to get. This is most definitely the one an adult should go with.
I like my bm grimlock and its $140 cheaper. This g creations grimlock does look good. In comparison with the mase covering the top half of bm grimlock you can't see the difference. Even though this one looks good I can't see myself spending the extra $140 for this. Great review

I was just thinking this. He doesn't really mention the heft of the plastic other than just saying it feels good.
For that kind of price, I expected to be around 70cm. (2 feet tall)
