Best edited episode of the season so far. I understood literally 100% of the positioning while still being unsure of the final outcome. And the lightposts comp, which was probably very heavy on footage, was so gripping and intense as edited (funny almost to see yawning etc in the background.)

Jury attendance has been great this season: so far we've gotten 1/1, 1/2, and 3/3

Excellent episode, Doug’s idols and relationships are being used against him. He’s forged so many bonds with Dale Aram and Sadie that they’ll be upset that he doesn’t play idols for them. And how will they feel when he’s actually had THREE idols this whole time.
Tim watching Slip N Slide Football Battle during a strategic conference with Abbie is very Tim

Here we go! Maybe I'm jinxing it, but finally, the game is opening up a little bit, and tonight was a rare instance where Doug didn't get his way.
Doug is still an overwhelming favorite to get to at least the final 4 and will have a pretty big say in who he'll be going to the final 4 with (the preview shows Santi and Doug talking with Dale Aram and Abbie, who seem like they'd be easier to beat in immunity challenges than Ange). But yeah, the pressure of Dain, Ange, and Tim in the alliance of 5 swung the vote onto Sadie in spite of Doug's wishes, so Doug IS losing some of his control on the game. Doug is smart enough to know that the trio of Dain, Ange, and Tim is dangerous and that Ange's underdog story in particular is dangerous to him in a jury situation, so my guess is that Doug targets Ange next week after aligning himself and Santi with Dale Aram and Abbie. We'll have to see if Doug regains control of the game this way, or if Dale Aram and Abbie are feeling too vengeful against him. Regardless, even if Doug loses his influence on everybody except Santi, Doug SHOULD get to final 4 just by playing idols every week.
As of right now, based on visibility in the edit, the only 3 players who I can see winning at this point are Doug, Santi, or Ange. It really has been Doug's season so far, so I'm not holding out too much hope for Ange, but I'll definitely be rooting for her against-the-odds story to have a triumphant conclusion. Looking forward to Episode 13!

I could be wrong, but I think the narrative of this game is starting to turn into how Doug will lose the FTC. No clue who's gonna win because the gameplay has been so disappointing that I don't think anyone really deserves it - maybe Angie for her underdog run - but watching Doug lose a jury vote would be fascinating and honestly satisfying given his gameplay up until now has revolved around everyone suffering at the hands of him not wanting to ruin a real life relationship over a game. I think his allies are finally getting fed up with is whining.

The entire season has been a boring steamroll, but Ange coming in in the last quarter and completely shifting the balance would be entirely redeeming. I love her so much 🥺

When Dain ratted Ange out to Tim (regarding Ange telling him what happened with the vote) did anyone else think it was going to cause a snowball effect of the vote shifting to Ange? WHY Does Dain continuously throw people under the bus who actually want to work with him? I'll never understand. Rooting for most to least:
    1. Ange - a STAR. Literally carrying the season on her back right now. I love how bothered she has Doug and how good her instincts are.
    - *massive gap*
    2. Dale - She has rootable underdog upside but needs to start making some stuff happen.
    *massive gap again*
    3. Dain - Honestly terrible at the game and has some of the worst instincts I've seen in college survivor lol - but he's at least pushing to make stuff happen and working with Ange so ~
    *massive gap*
    4. Tim - Finally steps out from the shadows and makes a move. He'd be at 6 if he didn't push for this to happen. Good on him this week. He's finally waking up from the tim spell
    5. Senti - He could easily win this game but his lack of game instincts is so frustrating. Him incessently demanding to run everything by Doug is cringe.
    6. Abbie - Hasn't done really anything, doesn't really film many confessionals... hasn't made any strategic moves
    7. Doug - Honestly just comes off too whiny and entitled (in the game) and hogs a huge chunk of the cameratime. I'm hoping he somehow gets blindsided with one of his idols. He'll forever remain dead to me if he goes anywhere near Ange.

This was definitely a fun episode as I think we really start to see the end game form and it was refreshing to see a shot finally taken at a power player.
I think this episode really solidified for me that Tim and Dain do see the current way the game was going and I am thankful they really pushed to make a move and take out a target. I think Sadie was in a good position but I think her ultimate downfall was she got locked in on a plan of that final 5 and having her, Dale Aram and Abbie take control then to be Final 3 that she let the gas off the pedal the last few weeks. It really seems like she fought to keep the status quo because she knew if it stayed that way she was in a strong position but I think she underestimated that everyone clearly saw that plan and would work to change it. I think at this point the only hope for Dale Aram and Abbie is if someone wants to pull a move against Doug/Santi or Tim/Dain/Ange.
I totally get the blur of gameplay and personal and that it can be tough but I feel like they all knew the game they signed up for and only one person can win. It is very easy for me to say this as someone who hasn't played a long form org like this but I think some of the magic in some of the earlier seasons were that everyone played to win and if they had to betray their friend they understood it was a game and did so. I was really worried that they would end up going Abbie or Dale Aram and it would be another week of taking out a power player's ally but by cutting out Sadie for me I think this solidifies Doug and Santi for end game. With that quote of Santi saying he doesn't want Doug out but he wants to beat him and Santi always talking about the personal relationships that there is a real chance he will go with Doug to the end and it will be his key mistake this season.
With 3 idols, Doug who has clearly proven to be a self interested player is now locked for Final 4 and if Final Tribal is a Final 3, as long as Santi is with him in F4 I believe he is locked for Final Tribal. I think from an outside perspective Doug is a clear winner if he makes Final Tribal but with all the talk of Doug playing both sides and him throwing his vote this tribal I could see a world where a jury does not vote for him if next to someone who played a solid game but I still think Doug is the one to beat. The smart move for Doug/Santi I think next round is take out Dain because it seems Tim/Dain/Ange are getting closer and the best way to stay in control is cut one loose and with Tim tied into both it comes down to Dain or Ange and I could see Santi pushing to keep Ange.

Doug is really taking a sledgehammer too his own game huh.. I guess he will idol his way to 5 and get taken out whenever he doesn’t win immunity. Really shows that playing a good pre-merge game doesn’t do much if you cannot close it out. Rooting for Ange and Tim!

Come through Queen Ange! She has the toughest road to final 2, but i have faith. I was so worried when she dropped out of the challenge. Doug seemed blindsided, finally he was out of the loop! Well i hope he was and didnt vote Sadie to stay in Sadies good books. Im here for a potential Ange, Tim, Dain and Santi final 4. I was rooting for Sadie but im glad shes gone, since she was coming for Ange. This is the first time im up to date on Survivor Maryland and not binging, now i gotta wait till next episode :(

Angie queen of strategy < 333 Hopefully this does make Dain not trust Doug and Santi! Aboard the Dain train as long as he works with Angie and helps her I guess haha. I'm conflicted about Tim because taking Sadie out is a good move but he needs to wake up and realize he has to take out Doug too and I don't know if he will...
She is the underdog and we're all rooting for her Doug you're right < 3333
I've been rooting for Doug from the first episode even when it soon became really boring how everything worked out for him (I rooted for other people too but didn't root against him) but I have to say, I was a bit disappointed at the fact was Doug was saying he wouldn't vote Sadie bc she'd hate him (instead of because it wouldn't be good for his game) even on his confessionals. idk I get it must be hard but I thought he was willing to cut anyone and even though he let Sadie go and I'm sure things will continue to work out for him.. idk it changed my opinion on him a little bit. I guess it's nice that they're that close.
I also agree with what Brie said on the live, well, I still think Doug's game was better than Santi but I do think Santi could win because he is more genuine and has a less villanous gameplay.
Hopefully Santi and Ange ARE starcrossed lovers for real and he's on her side too. I'm counting on him ¬¬
Wow the two pairs of roomates pairing up?? who would've thought? who could have possibly predicted this?
getting my hopes up about that segment where she says she wasn't able to go for Doug because Sadie wouldn't let her and then her revenge segment on the nextepisode clip.... Dale-Aram making moves maybe??! we'd love to see it

Doug is literally locked in final 4 with 3 idols. So it's basically who he's keeping around. Santi probably will be in top 4. Dale Aram is trying to get Doug out but literally her only option is to take him out at 4 lol. But she doesn't know that. Dale Aram about to get booted unless Abbie convinced her to do the roommate alliance.

Congrats on final 4 Doug! You would fuck it up massively if you didn't just play your three idols in a row. Voting Abbie was a mistake though, throwing your vote away is never a good plan in my opinion.

    Still hopelessly rooting for Ange.
I feel like I should be rooting for Tim and Dain but I just can’t. They still want to work with Doug and trust him. Especially when you think HOW...I mean HOW...do they not suspect Doug/Santi have an idol, Nevermind all three.
Times like these I am actually missing Amanda. Although she voted all the girls, she at least had a decent read of the game. Morgan had a good read on the game. Doug is now guaranteed final four. At which point he is either going to win unanimously or get cut right at the end. The sad part is when you think about it, the entire season was about Doug so (with the exception of Ange) it would leave most of the season feeling pointless. It’s like if Boston Rob lost Redemption Island what would even be the point.

I think the only way to salvage this season at this point is hopefully Ange & Dain flip to the bottom 2 to form a new majority. No offense to Doug but he really is ruining this entire season for me and isn't very rootable. Good on Tim for doing something other than blindly following what Doug wants. Senti could have this game in the palm of his hand not sure why he's resigned to being a minion.
I honestly don't really see anyone playing that well, I don't think I've ever seen a season of such horrible gameplay from everyone lol even Doug throwing his vote out on Abby when he should have voted Ange (thankfully he didn't - Ange is the ONLY thing keeping me interested in the season) - Senti not really playing the game just doing what Doug wants, Sadie taking out everyone that she could potentially work with and keeping the people targeting her in safe, Abby not really doing... anything? etc
