I've owned this for 2 years and here's what I'll say. Anyone who says it doesn't have good reliability, does not know how to properly drive a car. The brakes and handling have literally saved my life twice because of how responsive it can be. You can get up to 28 mpg city. Interior is my favorite part. It's just lovely to drive for what it is.
Hector O I heard a while ago they were considering it. They primarily use red in the Dodge products and blue in the Chrysler products. I'm a big fan of red and I owned a 2013 Dart and the red looked sick in that car at night! I also had a black and red interior so it matched perfectly even though it was a white exterior. It was a Rallye though so it had the blacked out headlamps, grille, and even the 17" hyperblack wheels so the whole package really worked.
Great job Matt, I know it's not the most exciting car but I was also impressed with Dodge interiors when I reviewed the 15' Challenger last week. Anyway can't wait to see the mod on Friday!
@@Natethegreat200c And if I had said "Challenger" that might have been a reasonable, if excessively caustic, remark. New off the line (while they still made them) the Dart GT was only 6k less than a base Charger. I imagine they'd charge you at least 2k to install the turbo. Plus whatever extra they wanted to toss in, 1k for a wing on the trunk maybe. It would barely be any different.
Easy car to maintain, good MPG, good handling and nothing to be embarrassed about. If you want a newer model car that is reliable and worth $15,000 of hard work I'd recommend this car. Dodge has Mopar so aftermarket parts are easy to find and are always compatible. Well said review.
Thanks for reviewing this car and understanding what it is. For the price, you are getting a lot of good equipment! I own a 2013 1.4L turbo car with all of the top tier options and I bought it used for 12k. It has 75,000 miles on it and drives like a brand new car. The ONLY trouble I've ever had was a park position sensor in the transmission. The interior looks incredible and like it has never been sat in. Oh and the stock exhaust note is wonderful. I can hear the turbo spool and re-circ and occasionally the exhaust will crackle with spirited driving. Its not fast but it is a real joy to drive. Its a car with a lot of personality. I believe it is one of the most underrated and underappreciated cars of the day.
I'm a detailer at a Hyundai dealership and we have a Dart in the lot. It caught my attention for a couple weeks and now I just saw this video and after everything you reviewed- I'll buy it! Thank you so much, man.
+74neunTA I just bought a new 2015 GT leftover last Saturday. I can't tell you how much I like it. Fully loaded with sound, sunroof and Nav system for under $20K. 6 speed of course.
Joshua Clark No man, everybody talked me out of it, even the mechanics and salesmen said it's not really a good car so instead I bought a 2014 Chevy Malibu
74neunTA Yeah my brother works for a Chrysler/Ram dealership and I will be soon, but he said most people that get them, at least there, is because it's all they can get. He said the resale or trade in SUCKS... they can drive off with a dart having paid $21k bring it back the next day and they only offer 8-9k for it, even at the dealership a town over. That's shitty.
Dodge needs to hurry up and offer an SRT-4 version of this car so it can compete with the Focus ST, Fiesta ST, and Civic Type R or Si Turbo. ...show some love to those Dodge Neon SRT-4 fans out there. Oh yeah, I like that illuminated dash they have in there; should be offered in the Challenger and Charger as well.
Elephant That will be cool, originally we were led to believe that it would happen for 2014 but obviously it didn't. I think Dodge put it off because they wanted to get the Challenger and Charger Hellcat out there in the spotlight for 2015 as well as get the Viper back under the Dodge brand. They've gone under a lot of change recently and I give them credit for the products they've been putting out. Hopefully the Dart SRT is on it's way and if it's anything like it's big brothers but in a smaller package, I'm sure it will be worth the wait!
mhtube01 I think they are going to make the Dart into the Chrysler 100 next year when they refresh it. And then the Dart will be the hatchback Alfa that we've seen in the spy shots. Then later that year the Avenger RWD will be the mid size that is missing now. They trademarked the Hornet name last year. The best years for FCA have already started rolling. Dart,Cherokee,200 were just the beginning.
wiibaron I heard about the Chrysler 100 but I was thinking it would share the same chassis and everything as the Dart but probably have a little softer suspension and a Chrysler body of course. However they would keep the Dart around, especially since it's been selling well. I thought they were getting rid of the Avenger for good but if they are bringing back a midsize, the Hornet name could be used for it. They've been doing so well lately so I'm looking forward to seeing where they're going with everything!
I just took delivery of my 2016 Dart SXT yesterday. Same color as this one tested. Same radio, no heated seats. I came out of a 2014 Ram 1500, and this Dart does not feel small at all. It rides extremely well and is plenty powerful. Time will tell how I like it, but for now, at least, I love it!
Hello Matt, we have the 2015 Dodge Dart SXT RALLEY version and it is AWESOME!!!!...We love how the car drives and the look of it over all. Yes the dash is AWESOME!!!...We both love the red display, and how it wraps all around. also love the sound of the engine when you start from a stop, sounds awesome. Matt that was a great video of a car we have grown to love, keep them coming.
Great review! I own a 2013 Dodge Dart SXT with pretty well all the same options with the leather wheel, automatic/manual trans and the slightly darker Blue Pearl exterior.... I totally love and still feel like I have a new car even though its 3rd birthday for me is coming up in February.......I still get head turns when I drive past in my pride and joy. Mine was in the show room and as I said though its an SXT its optioned up with everything including sunroof. The only thing missing (which I don't miss actually) is the heated seats and dual exhaust.......A perfect car for both city and highway driving.....3 years young in my eyes!
@N00WBI3 Jose they resolved the issues with these cars years ago, they just couldn't sell. They got bad publicity from issues from the first couple model years. Unfortunately, every one is discontinuing everything that isn't a crossover.
Collin Cullere not true. When you try to enter a market that has been dominated for decades (mainstream compact sedan) and you bring in a boring offering that provides nothing new, you won’t sell.
I own the 2015 sxt, and its been a great car. i also have the 2.4 tigershark. You can also upgrade a turbo to boost it up to almost 300 horse from Road Race Motorsports
My 2016 SXT...same color as this test car is impeccably reliable. Never a hiccup. 23,000 miles and has never been back to the dealer for anything other than normal required maintenance. I would recommend it to anyone. I’m 6’5” tall and it is plenty roomy. My niece bought one and loves it as well
@@HomeWrecknKneeKnockr I've checked out carcomplaint.com and searched previous owner statements.. specifically for the 2015 model.. apparently alot of engine and steering issues , random shutoffs while driving and over consumption of oil even after proper maintenance.. :(
Al Jean no, because I was afraid I know someone who has a 2015 Chrysler 200 that and The Dart basically the same and her oil is constantly low, transmission issues, and electrical problems. I wouldn’t recommend getting one, but still want one I’m just afraid of the issues. I love the design so much and it’s different from other compact cars. The engine especially and not those crappy and boring CVT.
I have a 2014 Dart GT with a 6 speed manual and let me say he's not lying about the feeling of it. mine has over 60k miles on it and I do have a lot of fun driving it.
+B Callado I just bought a new 2015 GT leftover last Saturday. I can't tell you how much I like it. Fully loaded with sound, sunroof and Nav system for under $20K. 6 speed of course.
the Dodge Dart Rallys are super nice, nice sport look my sister has a bright electric blue one, color is so bright it stands out, she gets lots of compliments on it, it has the 2 tailpipes, at the back that gives it a nice sporty, look. Also great on gas, she also has the Sirius satellite radio in there, love the radio screen it glows up red around the whole screen at night.
Don't talk until you've test driven one , they are very good driving vehicles . Brakes are good . Everything he is saying I was feeling towards the car too. Definitely a good car to review, hard choice between a Honda Civic or this, not going to lie I really like the interior feeling of the Dodge Dart and I was only writing the second-to-last base model
One variant of Honda's H22a 2.2L inline four engine, produced from as early as 97", makes 217hp/163 ft⋅lb-ft torque, in comparison this 2.4L 2015 Dart only makes 184hp/171 ft-lb. That's a big difference, particularly for such a big age difference. I'd take a civic over this any day, even an older one.
Thank you so much for reviewing the dart. I would love to own one someday, especially if the srt version is released. Haters are gonna hate. I've wanted a dart ever since they came out. I like all of the things you mentioned in the video, the good and bad. They are all on point and true. Like I said, thank you for reviewing the dart. Keep making great videos!
I was planning on buying a 2015 Ford Focus. A very trusted Service Manager suggested I test drive a Dart SXT Rallye. I did, as well as a Focus, Cruze, Mazda 3, and Toyota. I bought the Dart. This is the first Dodge car I have owned. I have been amazed at the thought that went into this car. There is storage everywhere. Well thought out interior. The 6 speed automatic teamed with the 1.4 turbo has great acceleration. I average 41 MPG on 55 mph highways and 38 on 75 mph highways. Great fuel economy day in and day out. I drive 1500 miles a week so fuel economy and comfort are a must. I like sporty performance as well. I have had true performance cars that did not handle as well as this! It has a very quiet ride even on rough roads. The stock stereo is awesome. It has great traction on slick wet roads even in very heavy downpours. I have had it in light snow once, and it was very surefooted. I have found nothing to criticize in this vehicle. This was the first collaboration between Fiat and Dodge; they did a remarkable job with this car!
Michael Kelly and the focus is a bigger piece of shit... Their half baked PowerShit dual clutch doesn't even last 10k before you have to replace the clutches, crashing MFT and even worse resale. Class action lawsuit etc etc etc.
I like that this isn't a performance car. It's something that I may actually get to drive one day in my life. You should do more modern day non-performance cars every now and then.
I just got the 2015 Dodge Dart SXT and I love it! It's a great car. My only complaint is it's a bit low to the ground, I'm always bottoming it out. For my next car, I am definitely getting a truck or SUV.
Lol the hate is real on here apparently. I love the dart! I have one and it's been an absolute amazing car. I am part of quite a few car communities and the dart community is huge. It's far more than just another car. Personally I think it's the best car in it's class, as I did test drive all the competition and the Dart stood out over the rest. While sure we aren't pushing ST numbers, or GTI, or SI stock. But there are quite a few vendors out there that can make these things bad ass. The turbo versions share the same engine from the abarth, and with that they can be pushed up to hot hatch and some of those entry level sport cars numbers. And still coming in at a lower price point after all the mods. The styling is great on the upper trims. The sxt with those wheels are awkward, and it doesn't look as aggressive without some of the Mopar parts that are available.Awesome review! If the srt4 Dart is released, which is pushing over STi numbers rumored, then the talk about this car will probably change.
@@laobejanegra926 almost 100k and it's doing great! Only thing I had go bad was a rear caliper seized, but it was the parking brake portion, not the entire caliper itself. Everything else has held up exceptionally.
Another great review, Matt ! I wish you would record a few flybys here and there, but your review is spot on. Hopefully ***** can provide you with more press cars. The Dart really looks like a great package for the money. Is there a manual version ?
TheGetawayer Thanks Guido! There is a manual version but it seems pretty hard to find. I'm working on filming for footage outside of the car like flybys and will hopefully incorporate that into my car reviews soon :)
+TheGetawayer Dodge originally came out with more manuals than auto's when it first came out, thinking people wanted a fun little car, but people wanted the auto and they had to wait for them, and Dodge had trouble getting rid of all the manuals. Further evidence of the pussification of the USA.
Hey man, love the music you use in your reviews. Where do you find the tracks? Whats the name of the track used in your intros and the video itself? Thanks man!
I'm my opinion , being that I sat in both Honda civic base , and dodge base , the interior on the dodge was really good .felt sturdy , definitely upd there game . Coming from someone that has owned a dodge neon and Honda civic currently .
@@Thisguyyyy-c8v I ended up buying it! This car is amazing. It rides so smooth. The one thing I would change on it would be the space up front, It's to small! It saves me a ton on gas!! Buy it if it has less than 70,000. It's a great car!
I have one with 108k miles on the dash. Only major problems I had was a recall that left me stranded and covered by fiat and started dying out near 100k miles beyond that the car is running great.
@@LuisDiaz-wy7ip I had two recalls in the past. Mine is a 2016 Dodge Dart SXT. I’ve taken care of the recall by taking it to Dodge for service. Mine has 128,000 miles on it and it’s still running good.
Not a bad car at all. Just needs power. Everything else with this car has been good and impressive actually. I've had it for a year with no issues and I do not baby my cars.
I saw this beautiful type of car in the car lot several days ago and fell in love with it. I have been looking and waiting for a car to grab my heart, like the Dodge Dart did! My daddy is a Corvette man, but I think this car may be mines. Thanks for the review because I am falling more in love with this car! Its an American car, which is nice because I usually prefer imported cars more. I am so happy to see this car and so beautifully organge! I never seen a beautiful orange car before! This review makes my heart flutter more for this car. I never felt this way about a car before!
+KJ Always "Its an American car," It's actually an Italian Car. Fiat has owned Chrysler for a couple of years now. The chassis on the Dart is a modified Alfa Romeo Giulia chassis. I just bought a 2015 GT leftover and love it so far.
+ClassicFIHD It's not an Italian car. It was designed and engineered in the U.S. by Chrysler and uses a chassis (CUSW) designed for the American market. The company is owned by FCA which is a merged company based in The Netherlands comprised of Fiat, Chrysler, Maserati, Ferrari, and Alpha Romeo, as well as some industrial divisions. You really should research before you spew your "knowledge"
ramsport47 DOH! The Chassis is a modified Alpha Romeo Giulietta! The A laser-brazed roof joint are also from the Giulietta! Why don't you try doing some research! Not to mention Fiat is ITALIAN! www.motortrend.com/news/2012-detroit-auto-show-2013-dodge-dart/
+ClassicFIHD I'm sorry...I thought you knew...the company is not Fiat any longer...Fiat is a DIVISION of FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) which is headquartered in HOLLAND and Auburn Hills Michigan. And, yes...the chassis is a modified Alpha chassis...modified IN THE USA FOR THE AMERICAN MARKET. Please don't combat me on this...you will lose!
I was at Carmax and was helping my girlfriend find a car, and it was between the dart, or a kia forte, and we went with the forte since it has more hp, torque, and weighs significantly less, and was a better trim for the same price.
So sad that Dodge is sacking the Dart, I happen to drive one and it isn't bad. People keep making baseless claims(Weak A/C is one, which is totally ridiculous it feels like the ice age is coming out of the dashboard) and if Dodge went on to make it for even more model years I would buy one again. The great thing about the model year system is that it allows improvement and that is certainly something that the Dart is worth.
best car for the money, and my AC is a blizzard. only complaint i have is i wish it wasnt so heavy and had wider tires stock. cold air intake and a tune from RRM and my Dart is VERY quick
I know this is a old video but I'm thinking about buying a 2015 dart sxt. Does the sxt come with the racetrack lights? The one I'm getting doesn't have the big touchscreen
Huge fan of the channel so this is all constructive criticism: I know these are press cars, which is a privilege in itself, and companies that give them to you will not continuously give more cars if you bash them but I fee like they can use a little more criticism. Also this isn't a sports car so it's more practical and won't be as many negatives but the only interior negative was that the seats needed more bolstering and it's a little dodge mini sedan. It could just be that the car is actually pretty good on the interior but it could use a little more criticism. Same thing for when you did the Chevy pickup they were like 1 or 2 interior problems. Also I think for every video you should include the base price and price as tested which is super helpful and saves people from looking this stuff up. Sorry for all the negatives just want the channel to grow and be the best it can. Otherwise, great vid and keep up the great work!
Great work as always. I actually own a 2014 Dart that's almost identical to this one. Mine is a Limited. I agree about the heaviness of the steering. I love that feeling. I have to say I'm not a big fan of the powertrain though. I often find myself wanting more power. I opted for the upgraded stereo with the sub and that sounds great. Interesting that you liked the base radio so much. That's cool.
LaObeja Negra it runs great. It’s my daily driver so most of the miles are city streets with some interstate thrown in occasionally. 29-32 mpg. Has about 50K on it. Needs a sensor replaced but other than that it’s been great. Looking at getting the windows tinted here soon.
@@benjaminmauldin1477 gotcha! I just came across one with 50k miles, still CPO for about $8500. But im VERY unfamiliar with Dodge so im asking around for inputs. 🙂
How’s the Dart so far?? I have more than 128,000 miles. Mine is a 2016 Dodge Dart SXT. Never had a problem with it. Just got two recalls in the past but I’ve taken care of it by taking it to Stateline Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram for maintenance and they fixed it.
Today April 14 my 2015 Dodge Dart have over 305876 miles and yes there was a recall on the Dodge Dart to replace the catalyst conveyor plus I had to replace the O2 bank 1&2 sensors other than that I keep up with maintenance oil change and brakes pads and I will come to Mopar National show in Carlisle, PA fairground coming 2nd weekend of July
@@michaelgorman4229 ahh okay, well that’s good. That’s good to hear from your experience with the Dart. It’s a nice car. I absolutely love it. Just hope that it runs forever lol.
serious questions, why do people hate on this car when it competes with a affordable compact cars? according to this review, great steering, brakes, interior and ride!
I test drove one a year ago while searching for a new car. Ended up going with a 2014 Civic Si because of how heavy and soft it felt. Nice car for the segment but your review on the Si tipped me over to buy that instead.
I am 6 foot and I find the rear headroom of the Dart to be poor. I was constantly moving around trying to find a comfortable position in the rear seat since my head kept hitting the roof.
The Dodge Dart has a sleek, sporty refined automotive figure! Inside the cabin of the Dart its relatively quiet, but in charge by the driver. The Dart is perhaps a little overweight compared to the earlier Dodge Neon. Nonetheless I like the Dodge Dart as it is one of the best C-segment cars FCA has ever made! So what now since the Dart was canned? I here of a new 3rd. generation Neon! A customer base is ready for a new Neon, and there is equity still leftover from 2005! Hello Neon now the Dart will have company on the road!
I don't really like the dart personally. But I respect the fact that Dodge (and other american car companies in general) have been stepping up their game over the past few years.
Rom, the Vacuous Spider to the bottom left under your steering wheel next to the headlight switch, one of those changes your brightness of the screen, at least on the GT version, then the other one changes the brightness of the red lights
It'd be cool if you got to review a Cobalt SS. It's one of the cars in the similar price range as a Civic Si / GTI and not many people drive it, or at least make videos about it. Really curious to see what you'd think about them.
peoplesuck25 check out the review of the GTI i just did today let me know if the editing was okay. if you have time. I know its lame to direct people to my channel so if you don't want to don't worry about it, just want some feedback if possible.
I actually like the Dodge Dart a lot. I test drove the 6 speed manual one and it drove very well. I was surprised at how long the clutch lasted in just coasting mode through the dealership lot and it even got over speed bumps using just the clutch with no gas, which was another very impressive thing about the car. that radio looks like setting and accessing presets might take some getting used to, but I probably won't take long. but yes a very good car indeed for the price and body style which I love greatly. I 'm definitely going to put one on my list of manual cars to look at for future buying when my current '05 Sentra starts giving out or gets close to 170,000 miles.
I get compliments every time about how sharp and aggressive-looking my 2014 Dart GT in granite crystal is. I really love the interior of this car and the tail lights. It doesn't have the best fuel economy but it's not too bad either.
I'm really interested in getting one, because: Dodge Excellent MPG (40 Highway) And because it's built after 2010 (I'm done buying 15 year old cars) BUUUUT, I do hear quite a few negative things about the reliability of the vehicle itself (2013 - 15 models). things like the transmission, engine and electrical functions. Can anyone provide any insight on both the reliability and repairability/parts cost of the Dart? I was hoping it would be at least on par with my Ford Focus ZX3.
My first new car was a 1995 Neon, and my son has a 2005 SRT-4. This seems like a worthy choice over the boring Corollas and Civics out there. For the price, however, I'd look closely at a Focus ST, even if they aren't quite competitors.
I just paid off my 2015 sxt with the 6 speed standard and the ralleye trim this morning. After 3 years I really dig the car. It looks good, drives fun, and the only issue I’ve had was the parking break needs to be tightened up. I have no illusions that it’s a sports car but I did have one incident when driving to the airport in Denver. A deer ran across the road out of nowhere at 80 mph and I had to evade very aggressively. I managed to dodge the deer but in that split second I was afraid we might roll after I straightened it out. Stuck to the road like glue, left, right, back in my lane and stable. There was a semi in front of me and the deer tried to double back while it was crossing and fell down. I think I heard a clatter of hooves hitting my right rear fender but no damage
This is a weir coincidence but someone hit my mustang and while it was in the body shop they gave me a Dodge Journey as a rental. The interior styling was virtually the same but the journey had a cool led screen in the middle of the gauge cluster. Nice car but I'm happy to have the mustang gt back
Hi thank you for the beautiful review But I have some question regarding the dodge dart 2015 sxt model. I don't have touch screen display, as well as dashboard red light thing
Yea, I have a Dodge Dart SXT Rallye and I have the lower model trim. Personally I love the lower model trim because I feel the screen is a bit overwhelming (for me at least.)
The aftertaste of the Avenger/Caliber still lingers. Looks good though. There's a 2013 Dart in my area for $7k. The depreciation is horrible unless you have a Dart Rallye.
Thanks for staying positive throughout the entire video!

How has it held up.
Need to mention some negatives. It seemed like you were being too nice because it was a press car.
@@Schluckebierd but u didn't mention any
Great review!
How's it running now a days?!?? ANY issues??
it's a shame they're discontinuing it.
MrManerd why are they discontinuing it?
N00WBI3 Jose Good to know, I was seriously considering buying one. Bought a Jeep Wrangler instead
Im still sad they cancelled thi car. I may buy one.
I love how happy you got as soon as you got to the back road to speed🥺
I own the 2015 sxt, and its been a great car. i also have the 2.4 tigershark. You can also upgrade a turbo to boost it up to almost 300 horse from Road Race Motorsports
Grizz Meister is this car reliable?
Don't bother getting any model older than 2015. 2015-2017 are actually pretty reliable.
Nick Sepulveda I have a 2013 Dodge Dart 1.4 multi air turbo limited 6speed vary reliable!
My 2016 SXT...same color as this test car is impeccably reliable. Never a hiccup. 23,000 miles and has never been back to the dealer for anything other than normal required maintenance. I would recommend it to anyone. I’m 6’5” tall and it is plenty roomy. My niece bought one and loves it as well
Thank you so much for this information.
I love my Dodge Dart that car is fun to fun and great on gas for me and the looks OMG it's a great kinda of aggressive look I like it

Sad to say I don't have it anymore :(
Your review helped me choose and buy a 2016 Dodge Dart Rallye. Thanks for the recommendation and nice review man! Just subbed.
the Dodge Dart Rallys are super nice, nice sport look my sister has a bright electric blue one, color is so bright it stands out, she gets lots of compliments on it, it has the 2 tailpipes, at the back that gives it a nice sporty, look. Also great on gas, she also has the Sirius satellite radio in there, love the radio screen it glows up red around the whole screen at night.
How are these cars running now a days?!??
Don't talk until you've test driven one , they are very good driving vehicles . Brakes are good . Everything he is saying I was feeling towards the car too. Definitely a good car to review, hard choice between a Honda Civic or this, not going to lie I really like the interior feeling of the Dodge Dart and I was only writing the second-to-last base model
DJ Tecktock is this considered a sports car
One variant of Honda's H22a 2.2L inline four engine, produced from as early as 97", makes 217hp/163 ft⋅lb-ft torque, in comparison this 2.4L 2015 Dart only makes 184hp/171 ft-lb. That's a big difference, particularly for such a big age difference. I'd take a civic over this any day, even an older one.
you are the only person to review the dodge dart at night and show the interior of it thats what i needed to see good review
I've watched a lot of reviewers and you are easily the best. Thanks for the uploads.
This was the first collaboration between Fiat and Dodge; they did a remarkable job with this car!
who paid you to post this?
No one paid me. I Drive 1500 miles a week, needless to say, therefore ; I spend a lot of time in my vehicle. Bottom line, I really like this car.
They cancelled the Dart but the focus is still going...I feel sorry you got that piece of shit
Thanks! Yeah I try and do a little bit of everything.

I just got the 2015 Dodge Dart SXT and I love it! It's a great car. My only complaint is it's a bit low to the ground, I'm always bottoming it out. For my next car, I am definitely getting a truck or SUV.
I'm so glad you mentioned the stereo system and how it sounds. I'm so down to get this car now.
The fact that there was never a SRT4 Dart is a crime against humanity.
How's it running now a days???
+snakesonaplane2 This is true. I had to order my dart with a manual because there simply was not one with everything I wanted in a manual. Sad.

This review makes my heart flutter more for this car. I never felt this way about a car before!
+KJ Always
"Its an American car," It's actually an Italian Car.
You really should research before you spew your "knowledge"
ramsport47
DOH!
+ramsport47
FCA didn't happen until 2014! The dart came out on the market in 2013! More like you lost!
Why are they discontinuing it?
I know this is a old video but I'm thinking about buying a 2015 dart sxt. Does the sxt come with the racetrack lights? The one I'm getting doesn't have the big touchscreen
Looking at a 2015 Dart with 96k miles for $5600. What are things I should look for?
0:01 disfigure blank I love that music btw nice video man I bought a blacked out Dodge Dart
I think its great to hear a good review, not many out there.. Most keep talking about how its under powered, but it feels good for what it is..
I always wanted a black one. Thought of leasing it but i really still like my 2000 Dodge Avenger ES. Maybe sooner or later i will lease it.

I am 6 foot and I find the rear headroom of the Dart to be poor. I was constantly moving around trying to find a comfortable position in the rear seat since my head kept hitting the roof.
Hasn't been even 1 week and the brakes have saved my life...
The Dodge Dart has a sleek, sporty refined automotive figure! Inside the cabin of the Dart
its relatively quiet,
but in charge by the driver. The Dart is
perhaps a little overweight compared to the earlier Dodge Neon.
Nonetheless I like the Dodge Dart as it is
one of the best C-segment cars FCA has ever made! So what now since the Dart was canned? I
here of a new 3rd. generation Neon!
A customer base is ready for a new Neon, and there is equity still leftover from 2005! Hello Neon now the Dart will have company on the road!
Matt seriously has one of the best jobs in the world!!! I am so jealous lol but awesome job with the reviews :)
hows the reliability of this car?
Been driving for 5 months now. So far so good.
Fiat + Dodge?
+Oscar normally, American cars have bigger engine but heavier than the competitions
If they made the Dart a V6, it will not be an economy compact car anymore. That would be a great option though.

Are dodge darts reliable cars and can the last with a good amoumt of miles
It'd be cool if you got to review a Cobalt SS. It's one of the cars in the similar price range as a Civic Si / GTI and not many people drive it, or at least make videos about it. Really curious to see what you'd think about them.
Nice pictures and editing at the beginning
peoplesuck25 check out the review of the GTI i just did today let me know if the editing was okay. if you have time. I know its lame to direct people to my channel so if you don't want to don't worry about it, just want some feedback if possible.
Okay Matt this intro scene is totally top notch! I like it a lot! :D Great review!
I'm about to buy one of these 🙂
You'll love it... Very nice car.
I get compliments every time about how sharp and aggressive-looking my 2014 Dart GT in granite crystal is. I really love the interior of this car and the tail lights. It doesn't have the best fuel economy but it's not too bad either.
I'm really interested in getting one, because:
Dodge
Excellent MPG (40 Highway)
And because it's built after 2010 (I'm done buying 15 year old cars)
BUUUUT,
I do hear quite a few negative things about the reliability of the vehicle itself (2013 - 15 models). things like the transmission, engine and electrical functions.
Can anyone provide any insight on both the reliability and repairability/parts cost of the Dart?
I was hoping it would be at least on par with my Ford Focus ZX3.
Don't get this piece of shit
Big mistake
So the red illumination in the car only comes with the touch screen model? Just wondering because I'm getting the non touchscreen one Monday.
i was wondering why the review was so good then i read the description and it said dodge gave it to you and i was like ooooh
you been working out buddy?
Is it possible to review the mopar version of the Dart? That looks like a really sweet one.
Wish he showed the exhaust note from outside. They sound amazing.
Can i get it orange outside and blue inside instead of red?
It's an ok looking car but overall just kind of seems like the second coming of the neon?
I love your reviews! They are fun to watch!
My first new car was a 1995 Neon, and my son has a 2005 SRT-4. This seems like a worthy choice over the boring Corollas and Civics out there. For the price, however, I'd look closely at a Focus ST, even if they aren't quite competitors.
love mine. a few hundred under the hood makes pretty quick for what it is. nice rims and a crosshair delete sets it off..
The way you made it sound, you are planning on reviewing the dart srt when it is released, which is rumored to be within the next year.
This is a weir coincidence but someone hit my mustang and while it was in the body shop they gave me a Dodge Journey as a rental. The interior styling was virtually the same but the journey had a cool led screen in the middle of the gauge cluster. Nice car but I'm happy to have the mustang gt back
Would you do a review of a Ford Focus SVT? It would be a good comparison to the GTI VR6 you did
I drove a GT which I believed replaced the rallye as the sport trim and I had no idea about the red trim
Need to try the 1.4 turbo with the 6 speed. Its the same motor thats in the abarth, totally different car at that point
Matt nice car I like it does it have gas direct injection?
Hi thank you for the beautiful review
But I have some question regarding the dodge dart 2015 sxt model.

Yea, I have a Dodge Dart SXT Rallye and I have the lower model trim. Personally I love the lower model trim because I feel the screen is a bit overwhelming (for me at least.)

it's the DART GLH that is coming out. AWD 300+ HP Turbocharged
They should have used the Neon name. I think this car could have been a great car, FCA screwed that up though.
How’s the long term reliability of the Dart? Anyone own one?
make it a real hatchback, give it a European suspension set-up, put a 3 cylinder turbo engine in it. the way back for Dodge into Europe.
The aftertaste of the Avenger/Caliber still lingers. Looks good though.
There's a 2013 Dart in my area for $7k. The depreciation is horrible unless you have a Dart Rallye.
