Thanks for the review! I was looking for a new knife primarily for kitchen use, carving meat, etc. I ordered one today from DLT in MagnaCut and beautiful Osage Orange wood handles with brass pins. I can't wait to start using this!
That’s going to be a nice looking knife! You definitely won’t be disappointed with it. Mine got a fair bit of use this last season game processing. It’s a winner in my books.
I have the original design with the cpm 3v steel. I’m glad they are coming out with it again. The Sheffield design is one of the best. Maybe this more ergonomic design instead of the traditional handle I have will help it sell better! Every deer hunter should have one of these for boning out their deer. Nothing beats it in my opinion.👍 (I’ve boned out well over a dozen with it. Lost count.)
Sweet knife love mine too. Used it to skin 4 deer this year already. Cuts like a demon and stays crazy sharp. All I've had to do to maintain the edge was strop it on the edge of the sheath after use.
@@dispmonk when blades are super thick it encourages people to do dumb stuff with them that they otherwise wouldn’t with a knife of thin blade stock. I think that is what he was getting at? All things being equal, a thicker blade made of the same material will be less prone to damage/breakage if used in the same manor as a knife with thinner stock. It just won’t cut very well.

Nice review. I love my Barkies, no matter what, to me they are beautiful
Thank you! I love my Barkies as well!

My experience has been the same. It’s a winner of a knife!
It rust your Magna-Cut from Bark River?
That is a beautiful knife !!
Thats how knives should be! Thick blades are good at nothing. They just make the knife prone to blade damage/breakage
I agree!
You make no sense. How does a thicker blade to make it more prone to damage and breakage? Absolutely nonsensical statement.
