A tip for anyone not playing fire mage, you can still add the 1 point into "fire bolt" and NOT put it on the action bar and it will still cause "burning" effect to your other skills. Because the burn is applied by any skill that damage. Then you use the Fiery surge passive and you can get 30% mana regen for 3 sec for every kill. Virtually all enemies will be burning because you do ANY damage too them. So run your lightning build and have 30% mana regen constantly up. Now maybe this has been changed or something. But if not. That is a pretty big deal since running out of mana is the bane of a Sorc.
Interesting note: The inferno needs to increase in damage IMO. Comparing it to something similar in Druid for example like "Creeping vines". It is also a damage over time for 6-9 seconds. BUT it can do way more than the 12,000 damage in this video showing for inferno. It is also only a 20 second cool down and does immobilize 2 seconds. It can be boosted by 30% damage bonus via a 3 point passive. So every 20 seconds you can proc 17,000+ damage vs Inferno which is an Ultimate skill only doing 12K + every 40 seconds or even longer cool down. You could do 2-3 creeping vines in the same time it take the Inferno to cool down. So in that one 12K inferno you can do 40K damage with a NON ultimate skill in druid. The creeping vine has huge AOE size as well and that 2 second immobilize is huge. It's a CC so extra damage against all of the trapped enemies. I guess what makes up for the weaker damage is the 8 seconds of no mana cost casting fireball or flames etc. Which of course adding a lot of damage for 8 seconds.
Is fireball actually bad with all the correct aspects and everything? I got a crazy unique staff at level 57 with the fireball x3 affix and was thinking about giving it a whirl
Leaving the dungeon after one pack is very inefficient. There can be beetwen 1 and 3 packs per one dung (still without doing the objective), and it takes like 10-15 more seconds to check if these extra packs are spawned.
@@DankRNG Hate to break it to you, but in that video the one doing 85% of the damage was the other player. You were basically tickling the boss. I doubt you would have been able to kill him at all if you were solo with that build, and if you did it wouldve been a 25 minute fight.
@@dalhster We were both underleveled for the fight. I fought it again and have been carrying people through it. Its not a boss build. Hate to break it to you, but diablo isnt a bossing game.
@@DankRNG No sorry you were 64, and weak AF. People running actual damage builds clear it solo at 55! You being able to carry at higher level now does not change the fact that the build is garbage. At 70 even I went in and carried a friend and killed the boss in about 6 seconds. So your point is moot. You just dont know what good is. Own it.

Interesting! Might have to give fb a shot after all. Good video!
I'm new to the Diablo series and leveling a fireball sorcerer so thanks for this. What version of Where is my Mind is that in the background?
Any updates?

Whats in the enchantment slot?
On the website it's flame shield and fire ball
Fireball and flame shield but if not hardcore you can remove flame shield
BLASTING!!
I wish fireball/chainlightning/frozen orb were viable but its not even close, theyre all so incredibly bad

Sadly you can only run arc lash firewall ice shards in endgame
@@Vmann2103 This is unfortunately true
@@Vmann2103 Fireball was doing just fine in T4, 500k crits per ball with the stun chest combo
I tried this build..... Even in the level 50 dungeon it doesn't kill them in the first 60 seconds lmao how come it works for you?
you're probably missing certain aspects to increase the damage. the aspect on my necklace in the video can 5x your damage
On the website should put what gems you use
Skull in jewelry, sapphirew in weapons, ruby in armor.

Would like to see Torment sigil dungeons in your fireball build
algorrrrrrr
Now go and show how u defeat elias for T4 with this build. On T3 evrything u actually will put on will one shot evrything, this isnt nothing special.
