Three minutes in, and I was in love with this couple. Their home is as warm and as lively as they are. Hands (and (Egyptian) feet) down, one of HW's best tours!
This is not just a beautiful well kept American colonial but the treasures inside curated by this lovely couple which are so warm, amicable, inviting, well educated in the arts, antiquities, history, they are remarkable and yet so genuine and humble that it is outstandingly beautiful and such a pleasure to have met them and seen what treasure trove they have of knowledge and their properties which are of top value. Thank you so much. I feel like I was on tour at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Villa Borghese in Rome and at the Metropolitan museum of art in Manhattan, New York.
The interiors in this video are on a whole other level. I want to spend hours and hours lingering in each room. I'll use the chairs if they're too busy! Oh to have this couple's eye!
A wonderful couple with a beautiful home. What an amazing collection of art, antiques, and furnishings. I could spend hours looking at everything. Thank you so much for sharing.
Collecting has become my passion! I been collecting and been an antique dealer for 18 years now, the treasures I find and the love my customers feel when they buy a piece from me feels amazing! This couple have an amazing collection.
Wish this couple had a channel to watch them antique shop and see what they see in their hunts for these beautiful pieces. Love them and their house is so cozy and beautiful.
Fritz and Dana..just happened to come upon your home on youtube...What a delight!!.. Great narrating !!..A chance to see you both outside of the trunk.. !!.. What a delight!!.. Joyce & Gary..
This is quite possibly my all-time favorite HomeWorthy house tour. Fritz and Dana are delightful, and I love how they manage to decorate with period pieces, but still manage to keep their home warm and current. I've struggled, as well, to use antiques (in my case, mostly 19th and early 20th century pieces many of which are family pieces), but not have my condo feel like a museum exhibit. I love how they have the contemporary kelly green tuxedo sofa juxtaposed against period 18th century chairs, rugs, paintings and that gorgeous camel-back sofa, and it all just "fits".
I felt i was watching an art documentary in a museum ❤ a maximalist home that doesn’t feel stuffed and cramped, it’s filled with history, art and unique characters. It hard to decorate a maximalist home filled with antiques in that way! The couple are lovely, she is so enthusiastic and vibrant, he is such a gentleman and art historian enthusiast. They really compliment each other as art dealers 😊 i loved this episode, very informative, enjoyable and entertaining at the same time ❤
This was such an incredible treat... Like visiting a museum, but so homey. I not only loved looking at all the pieces and hearing their stories, but also hearing the stories of these two lovely people. I particularly like the way they look at each other when each is speaking... So much love and admiration. And I think those are the ingredients for a truly beautiful home: Lovely things and lovely intentions. ❤
One of the most delightful home tours I've watched. They and the home are so well balanced. What an excellent use they have made of that space. And I love the sharp, almost classical potting shed.
Oh, what a magical space where every single object is beautiful and interesting. It's also an inspiration as to what can be done with a home with low ceilings. The couple are a delight, and this is one of the most glorious homes I've seen here. I'm calling this my best Christmas present!
Such a beautiful, but comfortable home. I'm mesmerized by all the art, yet it doesn't feel cluttered in the least. Loving this couple also, they're so knowledgable about what they do, and I can tell they treasure each and every piece.
Wonderful on thee eyes. And the small out building reminds me of a place where artist R. Surendra makes hand dipped beeswax candles in late fall. Beautifully done video film here. Thank you 🎄
Your Home is Beautiful! Dana and Fritz, Thank you for sharing your home with me and the audience. It truly does feel like 'Home" You both are so adorable and Fun! Cheers and God Bless!
Same! I always feel more at home somewhere, even in a video, lol, if there is a dog or cat. Lovely home with a couple who are very passionate about the things that bring them pleasure and happiness. I respect that.
A beautiful home and collection. My husband and I are the same- historical house and collecting for decades. Living in France makes the addiction to antiques even stronger!
The Rohns have done such a wonderful job on the restoration and remodel of this home - it's hard to believe it's the same house! This very quickly became one of my most-favorite HW episodes. I found every minute incredibly interesting. Thank you for sharing your home, your knowledge, your philosphy, and your collections with us!
Thank you so much for sharing your collections & your beautiful home! Love it all! We definitely have a lot in common when it comes to interests & taste! ❤
Beautifully curated home and a lovely couple. You can feel their enthusiasm about antiques and art. Thank you very much for sharing your home and stories with us.
Well oh my goodness, this couple has amassed a collection of objects that is amazing. From an interior design perspective, I suppose, for me, there are just too many of these amazing objects! LOL. I imagine myself buying their home, and then room by room deciding what I would keep. I know I would be removing many objects but I also know it would be an extremely difficult process because, again, I love so much of their collections. I very much liked the man's painting he talked about in the video. Very talented painter. Shame he appears to have stopped for the most part. Ok, THE EGGS. Cool but not my cup of tea so I know I would let THOSE go! LOL. The painting the woman pointed out in the bedroom, that reminded her of her husband at a younger age. That's a keeper for sure. Many of the portraits I suspect I would keep. My ex wife was from a family of "dealers" & my wife became one as well so like this couple for years & years we also searched high and low for treasures. My wife's family called it going on the Hallelujah trail, because when you FINALLY find a treasure, you exclaim: HALLELUJAH! As a single, divorced man, I continue the tradition & my entire home is furnished via thrifting. I joke with my ex that she brought me into a cult! LOL My friends get to enjoy it though because on birthdays & holidays they get to receive either unique interesting presents or just high quality items that I purchased for a fraction. Like I recently gave a couple a pair of Tiffany champagne flutes for their anniversary. Stuff like that. Got 'em at Goodwill for a buck each. HALLELUJAH!
Often, I wonder, in these lovely homes, WHO dusts, cleans around, polishes all these expensive antiques/artifacts/beloved objects and furnishings....YIKES!!
I would have loved to hear more about the house, it's history, and the remodel. I skipped over many areas (especially in the 1st half) with the pitch advertising their antique art business.
I love the kitchen and the large dining room. And normally I love a maximalist esthetic, but it feels like they are living in an antique store. There is just so much stuff.
These two people are just extremely full of themselves and completely annoying. I’m glad they both found one another and that they are happy. It’s just they are so snobby and try way too hard to shame other people and trying to treat the audience like we are stupid. We know that they love each piece, but I would have rather seen a more edited version with them choosing their favorite three pieces to speak about, rather than teaching us the history background of each piece.
I love the kitchen and she should have shown the owners before them. A little respect. I have never see anything like it on as long as I have been watching homeworthy then she does it more than once 🤦🏾♀️
He had the picture of his mom as a baby and grandmother tucked away in a drawer. Why not display that? It would mean more to me than all the other "wonderful artwork " they're bragging about.
Eagles aren't 'tacky' they are our gorgeous National bird.... 'Harvest gold' and 'avacado' are late 11960's-1970's colors.... I use ONLY American historic paint....support AMERICAN manufacturing.
There seems to be a competition between them and they try to speak over one another in a really annoying way. It’s mainly the lady who seems to love talking about herself, rather than giving any type of advice. Where he seems to be extremely snobby with his preaching about how tacky maximalist interior design is just about cramming as much junk together in no real cohesive manner. He truly believes he knows more than professional interior designers. He mentioned how it’s important to curate all of the paintings in a room and to make sure that all of the pieces have a common theme and color scheme. I really wish that the production team would prep these people to have a better flow of conversation, maybe even have a “voice-over” feature where they are not always in the video.
Three minutes in, and I was in love with this couple. Their home is as warm and as lively as they are. Hands (and (Egyptian) feet) down, one of HW's best tours!
I love their enthusiasm and their willingness to share the joy of their life’s work with the viewer. Thank you!!
This couple is delightful. I love their zest for living. And their home, of course. ❤
They are truly a match made in heaven. Enjoyed them.
What a total delight! Wish this lovely couple were neighbors!
You will never be out of conversation in this house because every piece has a story to tell!!! ❤ Everything but my Favorite is the Sun Room!!! 😍😍😍
Collecting has become my passion! I been collecting and been an antique dealer for 18 years now, the treasures I find and the love my customers feel when they buy a piece from me feels amazing! This couple have an amazing collection.
Most adorable couple. Lovely curated items , beautiful antiques❤
Love these two! How fortunate they found each other!
Wow! Lovely home.
Loved the portraits of your daughters
I wonderful home and a great couple with a sweet story-glad for them that Fritz blew that kiss in the restaurant kitchen!
Joyce & Gary..
what a fantastic idea with the kitchen renovation putting that window in, plus love the "C" shape kitchen,
crazy amount of cool stuff in this house! you can tell they have spent years and years collecting

Love this. It reads very British so I feel at home - lots of antiques and Farrow & Ball (could tell you the name of some of the colours 😅)
I felt i was watching an art documentary in a museum ❤ a maximalist home that doesn’t feel stuffed and cramped, it’s filled with history, art and unique characters. It hard to decorate a maximalist home filled with antiques in that way!

Awesome couple. Awesome tour. Thank you.
Lovely home. I bet it is especially beautiful in the winter with the snow and at Christmas time ❤️

I so enjoyed this! Thank you both for sharing the collections, your home, and the fun!!
A charming, interesting couple in an exquisite house!
One of the most delightful home tours I've watched. They and the home are so well balanced. What an excellent use they have made of that space. And I love the sharp, almost classical potting shed.
Absolutely stunning! A treasure trove of a beautiful objects
This is a beautiful home. i love the picture of the woman in the yellow dress so much.

You must not watch the channel much because this is definitely not the most beautiful Home! Probably to you I assume 😂
Spectacular! These two are true gems; so happy and positive! I enjoyed the tour and hearing about their wonderful life with antiques. Thank you!
Such a beautiful, but comfortable home. I'm mesmerized by all the art, yet it doesn't feel cluttered in the least. Loving this couple also, they're so knowledgable about what they do, and I can tell they treasure each and every piece.
Amazing home, thank you for sharing your beautiful home.
I love how eloquently you both speak!!
Wonderful on thee eyes. And the small out building reminds me of a place where artist R. Surendra makes hand dipped beeswax candles in late fall. Beautifully done video film here. Thank you 🎄

Wonderful episode! Love it❤!
Love their enthusiasm and articulation.

Her foot went through the floor 😮😳
Ik she laughed so hard at that, but I'm sure her friend wasn't laughing when she almost fell thru a floor. Jeesh.

Did they say how old it was? They say colonial
I think she IOVES being in front of the camera, he teaches and wants people to understand.
I can imagine she rehearsed for Fritz for weeks before Homeworthy showed up with the cameras… and he lovingly smiled and supported her.
if only they had self confidence and were not so shy.

Too bad this lovely portrait is lost in this space.
You missed to refer to ancient Greece...only from Agypt to ancient Rome.....no fair
Nothing special!
