I have sensitive acne prone skin. I live in the Caribbean where its mostly sunny. I did my make up which I always follow mostbof your tips, up in the day, did a photo shoot and my make up still looked okay I had a dinner date that evening but I wasn't sure what to do as I don't wear makeup often. Should I remove everything then reapply. Or refreshing it but how do I do that. I ended up removing everything was gentle with it and everything. I tried to reapply my make up and my face hurt so bad as thou it was rejecting it. Didn't know what to do or why it was so irritated. Please some advice. I haven't worn face makeup since over a month ago.

Hi Sinead, great idea for a video series! My question: I have VERY oily skin and was told to use a face oil (by Dr. Hauschka, German brand, I believe). Is that moisturizing enough? My skin doesn't really tell me... sometimes I think it is not enough, but when I use a face cream, too, my skin gets even more shiny. I just have the feeling that shine doesn't equal being moisturized. And while I'm at it: Thank you for keeping your videos short and informative, it is such a pleasure to watch you! Sinead if you could do a video on hyperpigmentation it would be great! I know you don't suffer from it but any tips would help. I use colour correct but look really orange no matter how little product I use and if I blot in between layers. My dark scars still show through and I don't think my concealer is a suitable shade either
Micellar water can be as drying as the acids because most micellar waters contain alcohol. Should've rinsed it off before proceeding with the moisturizer and makeup application.
If you (re-)do your makeup in the evening, do clean your face before completely with your normal makeup removal routine? (And I'm not so sure this cream is the right choice for you right now, your cheeks got all angry red after applying it and you did not rub them :( You might already know this but creams with marigold so wonders on sensitive skin. ;-) )
Hi there :) I usually do yes I take a shower, but it depends on the occasion, sometimes I will just add to what I was wearing, I will do a video on that too. Oh it's cause I was haven't a panic attach on and off all day it's not the moisturiser, I have been using it for 3 years now it's the best I have ever used doesn't usually do that just cause my cheeks get really red when I have anxiety but thanks for looking out of me.

Hey sweetie pie!! I adore you right back!!! What concealer are you using and also what powder? Sounds like the concealer might be too heavy or the skin is just a little too wet for the powder. Some lines are going to happen but it shouldn't be too noticeable. Let me know what you use? 😘😘😘😘😘😘

I have very large pores especially on my nose, i cant afford a good primer so I use nivea men after shave balm, idk if it does anytbing to the pores though. Anyway so is that a good substitute for a primer? It works fine for me.

I can't decide if my skin is dry on distress and over producing oils to counteract the dryness or oily. My T zone will look shiny after cleansing with a gel cleanser that has minor Salycilic Acid that helps with my cystic prone skin but if I add a minor amount of moisturizer T zone becomes matt which is confusing to say the least. My skin is sensitive and prone to acne because of that with visible clogged pores around nose area. I am puzzled to be fair.

Hi there well a balm is using to give extra moisture to certain areas that need it, however if you apply too much it can mix with the foundation and create a sort of paste that will go patchy and cakey are some areas have sunk into the skin before the area around has, what are you using at the moment?
At the moment i only moisturise, leave it for 10 min then apply my foundation and as i apply it looks smooth but as i am done with applying my makeup it gets cakey and i see lot of texture

I will be going into primers next week but yes it needs to be layers, sometimes they might not be suitable to be mixed so you want to use a thin lay and allow time to setting before the next layer, kindof like when you paint your nails 😘😘😘

I have a combination skin Tzone is oily. However whenever I apply foundation (MAC studio waterweight) it leaves dry patches and after 2-3hrs it’s so oily that I have to keep removing the xxs oil 😔. Any suggestions

I heard that's a myth they aren't allowed to say something has an SPF 30 if it isn't, SPF is SPF 😘😘

I use Aloe vera gel as a primer. I refuse to use anything else.
