What eShop games do I need to review next? Which was your favorite?? ❤ Check out Gloomhaven on Nintendo Switch HERE: bit.ly/3QX26BS | Thanks to Twin Sails Interactive for Sponsoring this video!
Stray Gods is a pretty cool game though probably not quite your vibe. It's a choose your own adventure style but it's a musical. Neat concept and amusing when you want something that is a bit more chill and different.
There’s a cozy dinosaur game called “paleo pines” that comes out in about a week I think? I’d love to see you review it, I’ve been looking forward to it for a while.
Sea of star is indeed a blast to play in addition to a blast from the past! If you want to know more about the Dev team, The Escapist did a very good Making of Documentary on the game.
I think it is worth mentioning when a demo is available for a title. Assuming the point is getting people to check out these titles mentioning the free demos could improve engagement
This video couldn’t have come out at a better time, my younger cousin is coming to stay for the weekend tomorrow and now I finally have something to play with him😁 Thanks Wood!
I’ve already purchased Sea of Stars, Vampire Survivors and Brotato. There were a few games that caught my attention on your list but I’m leaning towards Have a Nice Death and Red Dead. I’ve had my eye on Pikmin 4 as a good down time game but have never played any of the previous games before.
This series is why I bought Hades after seeing a Tumblr post relating to the main character (which made me want to see the story in the game). I had no hesitation cause I'd seen his review of it.
Brotato has a Hades component that makes it addictive. Not shown in the video is the HUGE selection of characters that you can play as, each with its unique gameplay. For fivw dollars, don't even think about it.
I'm certainly interested in Sea of Stars, and I've been considering Have a Nice Death for a while already. I wasn't considering Vampire Survivors before, but maybe I will give it a go, though I've primarily played puzzle roguelikes rather than combat ones in the past. I do like the character building part between runs on roguelikes, and seeing how far you can get next time. The comparison to Tony Hawk has me curious about Bomb Rush Cyber Funk, which would have completely passed by me otherwise (thanks, Bob).
@@denycast They're roguelike dungeon games with puzzle elements. I was thinking of Dungealot specifically, I really got into it for a while a few years back.
Sea of Stars 🌟 i played myself and i love it, the best point was not only the Fight Gameplay for me it was the Music. I even let the Game Rest in the Background meanwhile i was Busy and just let the music play in my Room 😁💕 I also can recommend *Mo:Astray* i even played it on my Phone and now it is on Sale rn and i did buy it right away 😅🎮
I recently bought and completed the messenger, which was absolutely amazing, so sea of stars is definitely in my radar for sometime down the line. Great video Wood!
Sea Of Stars was one of my favorite games from the year (crazy consider TOTK and Metroid Prime) and was glued to it for a week straight, after 55hr fully completed it. Make sure to check it out🤩😁
I'm on the fence because I heard that the characters only learn a few abilities. What's your take on that? I did enjoy the demo, the characters were cool and the sound/visuals were epic
@@MemeNess I haven't finished the game but I tend to agree with you. I wish I had more skills at my disposal. I'm hoping the game opens up more of these as the game progresses. But, it is still very fun.
For anyone who plays games on their PC as well, there's another Vampire Survivors-like game that's entirely free on Steam called "Holocure". All of the playable characters are V-Tubers, which I can definitely understand is not everyone's thing... but character-theming aside, the game is mechanically wonderful, and offers so much in the way of experimentation and addictive gameplay.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is a beautiful and fast paced fighting game. Its the best fighting game on the switch after Smash. I think its awesome. Definitely check it out.
A couple of these I didn't know dropped thanks for the heads up. Also Atelier Marie Remake is a great pick for a small JRPG, GUST have created another hit.
The best game i have bought from the eshop is Red dead redemption and dying light. BEst games on the switch that i have played so far. Also DOOM AND AILEN ISOLATION...
I'm buying Sea of Stars after I clear some of my backlog like Pikmin 4 and Chained Echoes.. but then I'm buying it I can't wait for the physical release. I got Echoes digitally and it's fine for me. blasphemous 2 is on my radar too but I still have to beat the first one!
I'm still working on beating blasphemous 1. Work got in the way ..I'll beat it and Many other games later .. but that game. Is amazing..and from what I've seen of the second game ..I looks even better
Just as a PSA, almost all of these do have physical releases out now or announced. I think Vamp survivors/ Brotato, Gunbrella and Trombone are they only true digital games
Yeah it’s pretty painful to navigate through while the steam store is much better designed and responsive don’t know why the e shop is so slow to load the games…
I'm a JRPG NUT, i played Sea of Stars demo, and fell in love with the playstyle, but let me tell you, if you play it for nothing else....the story...is....EXCELLENT! i haven't been this blindsided in an RPG since Aeris died in the original FF VII
I really wish more people knew about Tinykin. I love it way more than Pikmin. I really hope they make one more, or a few more about Tinykin 🥺❤️ if you havent tried - soooo good. And they offer a demo
Have a nice Death is pretty fun but the Gameplay gets pretty repetitive, especially with the RNG you have to deal with. I wish there was a way to level yourself up in the hub before diving back in. Sea of Stars is one of the best games I played since a logn time. I finished my first playthrough and am currently working on side-story stuff. It's really well made!
Heya! Could you try out Vernal Edge? I've personally enjoyed it and I think many people would enjoy it as well since the pixelated graphics are insane and character development is great. Hope you see this! (Btw new sub!)
I want to play sea of stars so bad but i cant pull the trigger knowing a physical version coming early next year. Just gotta hold out a little longer..
not sure if u have already put it in a video, but celeste is still such a good game even tho it came out a while ago, and it would be cool to see it in one of these videos

@@ForgetDanny95 Same
The only decent one was Sea of stars

I believe Gunbrella does, for example.
Someone should start a Let’s Play This Demo channel.
This video couldn’t have come out at a better time, my younger cousin is coming to stay for the weekend tomorrow and now I finally have something to play with him😁 Thanks Wood!
That's so sweet❤

There is a demo of pikmin 4 in the eshop. It is really the beginning of the game and can last up to three hours.
It got me hooked on it🙂
Honestly I had no idea the first 2 Pikmin games made it to Switch!
Yeah, they got ported back in June and the physical version comes out Friday
Me neither!
@@NickKritikakos NOO I just bought a game cus I didn’t know 😢
dolphin emulator@@Procrastination21345
It was in a direct
What I love the most is Wood and Bob's friendship
Their dynamic is nice, it’s a good breath of fresh air
So true feels like their styles sync so well
I don't think I ever get more exited then when this amazing man posts a video

Puzzle roguelikes? What kind of games are those?
@@denycast They're roguelike dungeon games with puzzle elements. I was thinking of Dungealot specifically, I really got into it for a while a few years back.
@@lyandraangel i have to look it up. I love puzzle games
If you enjoy Pikmin you should try out Smushi Come Home! You basically play as a Pikmin in that game, but it's a lot more cozy and chill
Sea of Stars is such a gem! Played throug it in 3 Days and just loved it!
Have you played chained echoes
I recently sold my oled but I still enjoy watching these videos.

So many great games listed here! Vampire Survivors is definitely a hard pickup!
Strongly recommend sea of stars. It’s absolutely amazing. I played it on game pass and am buying a switch copy when the physical drops next year
I have Sea of Stars and picked up Vampire Survive after your recommendation! Will pick up Brotato too and show it to my nephew, I think he'll love it
Wood ive been letting you pick my eshop games for like 3 years now. 😂 appreciate you. ❤️❤️
Thank you for providing another excellent list of eShop games!
Moonscars is a fun one also. It does have the challenge appeal but it isn't too overwhelming.
So out of all your "10 switch eshop games" You should make a top 25 favorite ehop games.. i would totally watch itn

I have a long flight coming up and I'm trying to decide between bomb rush, red dead, or sea of stars! Thanks for the video!
Trombone champ for me 😉
Trombone Champ and Red Dead...bangers all of em
HI Wood!! I love your videos! and you are amazing! you helped me through a rough patch in my life and i wish you nothing but the best!
Dragon Ball FighterZ is a beautiful and fast paced fighting game. Its the best fighting game on the switch after Smash. I think its awesome. Definitely check it out.
The new star ocean remake coming out looks insanely good
Thank you for the Eshop deep dive,
I appreciate the recommendations!
Another great video! Wow, there's so many awesome games to play 🤩
I LOVE the gloomhaven board game, glad to see it's a sponsor.
I’m late to the party but the absolute JOY I felt seeing a new eShop video from you made my day so much better, man!
A couple of these I didn't know dropped thanks for the heads up. Also Atelier Marie Remake is a great pick for a small JRPG, GUST have created another hit.
You HAVE to play Bomb Rush Cyberfunk man, it's incredible
Highly recommend Boneraiser Minions if you want more Vampire Survivors after finishing VS.
Sea of Stars is remarkable, had it with the playstation plus but surely want to grab it and play it on the switch!
The best game i have bought from the eshop is Red dead redemption and dying light. BEst games on the switch that i have played so far. Also DOOM AND AILEN ISOLATION...
Thanks for showing us the games have a awsome day wood
i would have never picked up vampire survivers if it wasnt for this video, but now i am having the time of my life playing it! Thank you!
This is your best eshop video yet. Cant wait till payday to pick up one or two of these
The Razbuten and BeatemUps Gun/Red Dead combo goes hard
You've convinced me. I'll have to try Vampire Survive.
navigating the eshop drives me crazy... i loved Gloomhaven on pc
Thanks for the recommendations as always, Wood! Much appreciated.
Also, did I spy the new Ronin model of the Satisfye on your Switch already?
For me, I think red dead and sea of stars caught my attention most.
Lookin forward to a Nitro Deck vid. Hope to see one from ya! 🙏🏽
I have Vampire Survivors on my Steam Deck. It is a great game. I am going to check out some of the others you recommended.
When it comes to Trombone Champ, I knew you put that up in this video
Gloomhaven is cool but is also insanely hard
Had a bad day and here wood is to brighten it once again. Love your content been watching since late 2021 thanks wood for being here when I'm down
I've never played borderlands 3 or the borderlands series lol
The physical Pikmin 1+2 is a few days away, and I can’t wait. I’ve never played them, but I loved 4.
Edit: I agree, Wood. Money is weird😂
Brotato might be one of the reasons I got back into gaming it's so fun
I have been playing sea of stars for hours on ps5. Game is free with plus and an amazing game.
There have been a few games that you've shown that I've bought and I've enjoyed every one.
I love these videos thanks Wood!! 🤗✨

Okay, my wallet hates you, but I love you. Time to rack up some game time.
The eshop needs a better way to organize what your looking for I agree its very laggy
Yeah it’s pretty painful to navigate through while the steam store is much better designed and responsive don’t know why the e shop is so slow to load the games…
Just finished the true ending of Sea of Stars, can say its most likely going to be my 2023 game of the year. Also Blasphemous 2 was great!
This was dope list tbh all of them except 3 peaked my interest
Whatever you are doing with your hair looks good. I like it. That is all.
The game "Suika Game" blew up recently. It looks so fun

Btw Beatemups, love the switch, my wife bought me the TotK switch with the Satisfye grip for father's day!
One Id recommend is MOONLIGHT , Beautiful graphics , dungeon type game definitely putting hours into it
I can totally see sea of stars winning game of the year indie category
Im Hyped To Get A Physical Copy Of Bomb Rush !
I really wish more people knew about Tinykin. I love it way more than Pikmin. I really hope they make one more, or a few more about Tinykin 🥺❤️ if you havent tried - soooo good. And they offer a demo
I never knew Overlord was a fantasy reskinned Pikmin. I loved that game and had never played Pikmin before. Looks like I gotta give it a try now.
Hope your enjoying Japan!
ive been waiting for this 🔥🔥🔥

WOODS!! should do triple a games that you should get (like aaa games that run well with good enough graphics)
Dragon Quest Monsters 3 is set to be a hidden gem on switch, wasn’t even in the recent direct that a demo is available
I’m addicted to FaeFarm, this might be a prob with Death or Treat in a few weeks…
I also recommend THUNDER RAY. Its a boxing game that kinda like Punch Out but amped up.
Try “it’s a wrap”, i think it’s very interesting
I absolutely love the battle music in see of stars.
Oh Gun! Love that game, and Red Dead Revolver. Got the soundtracks
I feel like Sabotage studios is becoming the next Supergiant games. One more game of that caliber and we ain't calling them indie developers
I think you’ll really love Aeterna Noctis if you haven’t already played it or reviewed it.!

A lot of games are out there to keep you busy till then.
Thanks for that hidden gem of a first party title
How's the new Satisfye Zengrip Ronin feeling?
19:22 is funny, because Vampire Survivors was made by just one guy in Italy.
Brotato is cool cuz some of my favorite youtubers have items in that game we can just pretend that the flannel is for wood lol
Ya he definitely has a favourites for Castlevania type games.
Sea of stars is a gem definately a winner
best switch creator

not sure if u have already put it in a video, but celeste is still such a good game even tho it came out a while ago, and it would be cool to see it in one of these videos
Would be nice to have the time to play 10 games. I struggle to find time to play 2 at a given time.
Have a nice death sounds awesome! Totally buying it. Thanks for putting it on this list
Love this series
