I was raised in oviedo since I was born in 1990. Oviedo has changed so much since then. All that land where oviedo on the park was I remember with my friends we would walk all up in there and play paintball when it was all woods. Good times. Oviedo will never be same. You hardly see chickens like you used to, you only see like 5 hanging out by ace hardware and that's it. They would be all over that parking lot and would be all around the Popeyes that used to be there where the post office parking lot is. Glad I moved away to north Florida. How oviedo used to be.
I remember as well! I’m a native born in 81. Left and came back. Definitely not what it use to be with development but we still have that small town energy & I love visiting the chickens next to Santorinis & the Ace.
@Kat West I just hope they never approve to build on lazy oaks ranch. But how everything revolves around money nowadays it is bound to happen at some point.
Hi Jonathan, I lived in Oviedo since 1999, and let me tell you Oviedo has changed a ton, a lot of new homes and businesses are sprouting everywhere. I kinda miss the chickens where the old Popeyes used to be across the street from Oviedo Quick Stop, I'm still happy to see the post office there, and ACE Hardware as well, seeing those buildings brings a nice feeling of how Oviedo was before 2010 :)
I understand Fanny! Well I hope to make your weekend by letting you know you won a free gift card to either Maple Street Biscuit, TJs seafood shack, or Mission BBQ! Message us directly to let us know which one you would like!
Love Oviedo! Thanks for the tour! ✨🌲
Thanks for watching!

My favorite neighborhood to walk!!
I've been living here 13 years, and it really has become a bit crowded for me since they've built so much, especially on Oviedo Blvd.
