I have to say that I am totally digging a mid west mom giving height and weights in metric as well as US customary units. I actually had to look up, what do Americans call imperial measurements. Every day is a school day. The urban arrow is a formidable machine and I'm over 6'6. There is a lady in New York who gas a channel called cargobikemomma if I remember correctly who is only 5'0 and gets everywhere she needs to go with three kids up front. Everything will be fine.
Hey! Are you in KC? ( I recognize the backdrop). I live in Roeland Park and have been commuting on an ebike to and from work for almost a year. Was thinking about getting my wife an urban arrow, but trying to justify costs. We have 4 kids and live local relatively as well but itll be tough to get rid of the car (I did get rid of mine though and its been great). How is it going running around in the suburbs? We hope to move into KC proper over the next year or so. Anyways, great video! Nice to see someone local coming into my feed and experiencing the same things ive been experiencing :)
😀 I am! Olathe. It's not bad really, ridding around in the suburbs. I'm very slowly expanding the number of routes I will ride and if I'm not sure how to get somewhere by bike, I take the car, and don't let myself feel bad about it. My family couldn't go car free living down here but we would like to sell one of our cars in the near future. 🤞 (Also, there are several UA owners in the KC area if you ever want a test ride😊)
Hi there. Just ran through all of your videos. Love it and hope it'll work well (I'm sure it will). I don't live in the states and in our country cargo bike have just started to get imported. None with central motor like the urban arrow. Mainly due to obsolete regulation. Think of bringing a bakfiets from our holiday in the netherlands. We also own two cars but I don't think it can replace any of it. Few notes: 1. In the calculation you use a different method of claculation for the past and future and I think it brings some bias. I would test by checking if the 10c per mile applied to the past costs. Also i believe that in low mileage scenario you'll still have to maintain thw car yearly so besides fuel and tires you won't save that much. 2. The last video colors were completely washed out. If you're shooting with you cell phone, perhps opt for the rear camera than the front which way better in all devices. Thanks for sharing your journey and thoughts. I didnt see much of this online. I can't wait to see further updates.
Thanks for the feedback! And yeah I'm totally new to making videos like this and messed up some of my footage (that washed out look). I think I've fixed it for future videos. 🤞
love cargo bikes, glad for the car-free/car-light life style. keep sending us more videos, thanks
Thanks! I'm so happy to have discovered cargo bikes!

Thanks Frits! It was nerve wracking to make such a big purchase but my family has been riding our bike for a couple months now and love it!

Lol!! I just had to look up, what do Americans call imperial units! I think I don't call them anything normally. Maybe US units?
