I'm not into C&W much, a tad less into bluegrass. But when I heard this shit-kicking song (and Waiting for the Sun to Shine) godamn! boy, I want a simple life too!!! This is the epitome of utter perfection in vocals, instruments, and background. It's the only bluegrass song I blast from the Bose system in my car. Only if the banjos played a bit longer making it last a few minutes more. Rickie has one marvelous voice. Wow! Greetings from Baltimore MD 2022.
