Popcorn Shoots - Growing an Edible Centerpiece

Popcorn Shoots are popular with high-end chefs and make a lovely, unique garnish. They can be eaten raw or cooked lightly - or they can be grown into a gorgeous centerpiece that will decorate for 2 weeks - getting better and better as it grows.
This real-time video has a lot of teaching points - for me too. If you make it to the last few minutes I offer a summation and discussion of general practices that will help you grow many crops.
This technique is the same used to grow any large seed Microgreen - like Pea Shoots, Sunflower Greens, Buckwheat Lettuce, and other Bean Greens - and Grasses like Wheat, Oats, Rye, etc. The length of time to grow an edible crop is 7-10 days in all cases, but as we learn in this video - there are other possibilities for the indoor farmer - in this case - a truly unique and astoundingly lovely centerpiece.
