I really enjoyed your girls trip to the Mediterranean! Can I suggest you try a Norwegian cruise for your next Mediterranean adventure. My family and I traveled twice on NCL, the Epic and the Getaway, both were heavy port days, but the food, drinks and entertainment were so much better.

Thanks for the vid ! I'm french but of all the city on the South coast, Marseille is one of the few I never went to. We're finally going via our own MSC cruise very soon. So your tips come quite handy ! Through France, Marseille has somehow a really bad reputation, but I'm rediscovering what the heart of the city has to offer and I'm now really happy to finally go there.
Thanks for watching. We found Marseille to be beautiful. But yes we heard it was dangerous. We didn’t experience anything bad. It was actually one of my fave ports!!! Have a great time on your cruise!
@@MHFamilyAdventures Yeah, the suburbs are known to be quite dangerous : many poor classes of society, poverty and drug trafic that has lead recently to shootings, murders and overall insecurity. It’s sad because it really hurts the traditional image of Marseille and its long history (first port that goes back to antique Greek colonies before even the Roman Empire).
And thanks to you, and the upcoming cruise, it has helped me to rediscover this aspect of the city.
I think we will have a very good day there. If you want I will come back to tell you about, from a French perspective :-)
I know how you feel. We went to London for my 45th birthday and it was wonderful. But my feet burned and we were so tired at the end of 8 nights... lol
Yes it was one of the best trips but definitely exhausting! Felt like it took me about 2 weeks to recover lol

Do you recommend this type of cruise for kids (8 and 10 years)?
It depends on whether your kids like history and are ok being in space where there may be kids who speak a language different than them. I don’t think I’d take my kids at that age but I think they are ready now.
Very informative vlog. I have been to Marseilles many years ago, can’t remember much. Not a huge fan of France (being a Brit, the French hate us lol). Look forward to your next vlog series.
