It's really interesting to hear the different practices across different MSC ships... don't recall them needing to activate any of our photo packages whether we sailed from the USA or from abroad.🤔 I'm thinking maybe your sis enjoys the Moët Ice Imperial wines like I do and now she wants all her wine on ice. 🤷🍷
Hey MH Fam!!! Thanks for showing us around the ship a little bit, the arcade and bowling area looked like a lot of fun. We love stuff like that so it would definitely be one of the spots we would spend most of our time at. The food you had looked amazing, looking at all the dishes was making us hungry but I guess looks can really be deceiving lol. Thanks for your honest opinion on the meals though. Great vlog, can't wait see what the next vlog brings! 🙂
Glad you're having a great cruise with your sisters. I'm sorry you've experienced some rude guests also. I've cruised many times with MSC, especially in the Med being from Europe. The guests, in particular those from the Southern part of Europe, tend to be quite rude.. it's always been the way, even when on holiday in resorts. It's also mostly just a minority, but there's a trend among nationalities unfortunately. I've saw many brawls on MSC cruises over those same white daybeds by the pool on Meraviglia class ships.... it's crazy, it really is.
I'm definitely going to miss my sea days when i do this itinerary, but I just couldn't decide on skipping any of these ports as a first-timer. I will be back on Meraviglia in March and will have lots of sea days then! I'm not necessarily surprised at the rudeness and it is something I've been expecting myself based on personal experience and reading reviews. Edit: i looked ahead at the playlist and i guess there is a slight difference in itineraries. I'm doing Palermo and Genoa instead of Sorrento and Milan. Still learning a lit from you.
Yes there are variations in the itinerary- but Palermo would be my “Sicily” vlog (they are at the same stop). And Genoa is “Milan”. I was so confused by that myself. But it’s because you port in one place but the major attractions are in a different area. Hope that makes sense.

Unfortunately I do think that was the case. I’m a very easy going person and I keep to myself, so there’s really no other reason I can think of. And it wasn’t everyone but there were a few that made us wonder. But I also think some of it may be cultural. Some were more blunt. Or had no sense of space and would just be all in our personal space. It was very different from the Caribbean.
It’s a pity that you ladies weren’t on the same sailing as my partner and I..(next week). You seem lovely and I certainly would not stand for rude or obnoxious behaviour. The lady who dumped her plate on your table would’ve been put firmly in place. Disgusting behaviour. And I hate to generalise, but was she “middle European” by any chance?
