Skyrim Life as a Ranger. This is the Skyrim Ranger roleplay series where we make a Skyrim Ranger build. Our job is to protect the lands of Skyrim travelling and living in the wilderness in this Skyrim Ranger playthrough. We also have access to the Skyrim Ranger guild for all our Skyrim stealth archer needs.

There is a mod where you can give beggars food instead of money - seems like something a Ranger would do.

You should really make a series roleplaying as a member of the forsworn. Live another life and legacy of the forsworn both allow you to be one and I think it would be really cool
if faendal isnt healing maybe you shuld get yourself the "healing hands" spell to heal him
Loving this series like I loved the werewolf series, which is a lot! You might already be aware, but there's this plug in for Live Another Life called Dealing With Another Life and a mod called Dealing With Daedra. Together they give a character a "just out of the nest" young adult origin and several small quests that seek to ease you into being a legendary murder machine whilst also trying it's best to take advantage of your youth and naivety. Highly recommend.

Bit of advice (please disregard if not needed): If you are using the Cooking Pot from the Campfire mod, you have to place it next to a Roaring Campfire, then wait for the pot to look like it is full of food. Once the graphic changes to the full pot, it is ready to use. I noticed that on my play-throughs after trying to use the pot too soon after placing it (the pot was empty).
You should look into Immersive HUD for hiding the UI. It lets you choose what to hide and you can still show the hidden parts with the press of a button. You could choose to hide the crosshairs for meele combat but show them for ranged, or hide it for everything but still see the stealth indikator whenever you crouch. It gives you a good amount of control for what to see and what to hide. It also links with all skyUI widgets, like the clock from the A Matter of Time mod, for example. I've been using it for years and never go without.

The foraging is pretty cool. There's 10 levels to your foraging skill as you get higher foraging you can look for certain things specifically and once you get high skill you get between 1 and 4 times the amount of ingredients
I would love to see a series of yours built around the conquest of Skyrim mod
I wonder if the eldergleam quest would be good for a ranger. Guiding the annoying traveller through the wilds seems like a rangers job. Love your videos!

I've been watching your different series for a while friend, I'm glad you do these videos. The ranger is an awesome addition to the wilds so good folk may travel in peace to find prosperity. I wonder if the ranger is able to use his abilities to befriend sprigans to aid him in battle and healing. Also I was hoping you would possibly consider the option of making a character go on a journey to become a master shaman monk who can heal the sick, feed the poor, inspire the weary and confused, befriend the creatures of the world, protect travelers, watch over the wilderness, join storyline battles with tremendous courage, and use coin to rebuild the region so all can benefit from the good life. Thank you for your efforts friend.
Fun stuff. re: that cooking pot issues. In Campfire I've found that sometimes they tale some time t be ready to cook in when placed near certain fires. You might try leaving it foe a few moments before cooking
You should be able to go into the menu to assign foods not covered by most needs mods. Basically you decide what type of meal it is. The tiny edible berries you could make into filling meals. 🤣
i recommend the mod common clothes and armors for ur next playthrough its lightweight and adds a lot of vanilla looking clothes to the game

I was kinda wondering , there is actually a quest "Kynes sacred trails" which is given to you by Froki , it would be kinda fitting to do that quest not only bc you pray to Kynareth but it would by good for the roleplay ( he lives far down south from Ivarstead ) .
Also you can do a little bit of smithing , to craft things and also to craft Sweetroll or Fendal some proper gear. ( And it would be also roleplay friendly bc ranger needs to know how to fix his stuff on his own when on the road )

Removing just the compass isn't that easy 😅. I use several mod to do so :
Clean compass
Reduce compass range
No more quests markers on the compass
Remove enemies from compass
21:55 you need the hunterborn survival patch or realistic needs. Whichever one your using
