For those that don't know Feidy here is from a Mobile gacha game called Artery Gear Fusion. Really hoping her sister unit Cindy who is covered with missile pods, and has a pair of what look like rail guns.
I didn't knew it had a model kit from Artery Gear mobile game. The game did aired on Global and there are tons of collab characters goin on like Madoka, FrameArms Girls etc. 🥰🥰 There was her other spider-mech sister named Cindy, but in dark, purpleish version with different pink hairstyle and a sukumizu. xD But no model kit for her yet.
I got it and really like it. The legs are tedious to assemble. The joints also feel very stiff and there are a few points that seem kinda fragile like that white bar in front of collar and the black bits that under the skirt that hold onto the front skirt parts; I broke both of those and have to pull out the plastic cement. I got it though because it looked cute and I put it up next to my Sylphy; definitely want to see more of these because I like the moé look more than the typically more sexualized mecha girl kits.
I preordered, and really like it. Only needed a touch of painting here and there, to be more box accurate. The only real complaint I have is with the waist harness that the spider legs connect to, and the girl goes in. After sitting for a bit, especially if you dont put the front legs more vertically oriented, the weight of the front legs causes the front part of the harness to start to twist outward. This causes the front legs to spread out a bit, and I was a little worried it would bend the waist harness after a while. I solved it by moving the clear stand from the rear of the kit to just behind the girl, and that fixed the issue with the extra support. If more kits came out, I'd buy them.
Have played Artery Gear through Bluestacks on my laptop. Decent game. Had Feidy and her sister unit Cindy among my units. Would be cool if they release more. Might get into them if they did.
I would build this one exact as it is , BUT , I would like to try on a second one , removing the girl and make the armor like a spider tank . Hard part is to buy it without any affordable shipping method ...
I love the mecha and would buy just for that, but not digging the head's proportions. It's stuck between normal sized (for anime cutesy characters) and full SD/chibi, without going far enough either way aesthetically. Doesn't sit right with me, but I guess they succeeded with game design accuracy
Not a fan of of the semi-chibi (looks about 4.5 heads tall) character design but it is accurate to the source material. Hope they come out with kits of some other girls from the game.

Yeah she also has quite a tragic backstory which is one of the only things I remember from that that game story-wise
i hope they do more artery gear kits, i loved some of those designs
Same fam I would love to see a kit of shyura
the design makes me think of a mecha-musume version of a Tachikoma from Ghost in the Shell, lol.

awesome and cute at the same time. Adding it to my wis list.
Now that I've gotten into building model kits I would definitely like to give this kit a try plus I'm a fan of the game
Super cool, a bit pricy but still.
Oh wow this is bought and I hope that game comes stateside
The kit and the character in game similiarity is really good, considering in game character only in 2d

if it was me, I'd kit-bash two of it, to have one with no humanoid legs/waist, and a modified skirt to support a full eight spider legs.
Bad news guys. Artery Gear Fusion is going EOS this November.

Definitely a different kind of mecha girl

How tall is Feidy by herself? I have sort of a project going on that needs 1/12 scale or approximately close thereto. Thanks!
Oh interesting, that's the Japanese box. The one I ordered is from the Chinese run, which would explain why my box didn't have the amendment page
I love this design :) I want to get it but my backlog is so biiiiig
Update: got the kit anyways and am just now starting to build it
She's awesome, but what if a scorpion 🦂 ver in black with red clear parts. Melee loadout? Tail becomes a scythe?
Unlikely as this kit is based on a character from a mobile gacha game.
So, it's a little annoying, but you're supposed to tuck the legs into the butt section for the chariot form.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The amount of paint needed for Feidy herself is the very main reason I'm not considering buying her, especially at that price point.
I love this kit but some of the joints and pieces were really tight and was annoying to put together.
