It would be nice if the Crossbone Gundam got a 2.0 revamp like the F91 2.0 or something like the MG F90's. I can't wait for Bandai to announce that they heard us about getting more MG's out there and then annouce another 7 Gundam Seed MG's XD
I built this kit when it came out. Fully painted and put on all the decals. To me, a lot of things were tiny in this kit, especially the white square decals were microscopic.
Zabine Chareux is a character from 1991, so he existed way before Riddhe. That version of him is from 1994, though. In other news, I need to get an MG Crossbone. The X2 is the coolest looking one in my opinion.
My first Crossbone Gundam was the MG Crossbone Gundam X1 ver KA and it was also my first MG ver KA kit. I’d like to get some of the other versions of it if possible in the future. So far all I have is the original MG ver KA, RG, and HG kits.
While I'm not sure if they make it anymore, Citadel's Daemonette Hide is IDENTICAL to the shade of lilac for the feet and details, so I recommend that for the face stripes if you can find it
Love the Crossbone designs! I have the Full Cloth and X2 Kai, but these kits all feel like hand grenades and super loose. I think they'll be fine once i finally get around to painting them, which should tighten things up.
I really wish the crossbone family could get a 2.0. I loathe the ver ka and especially the full cloth, the latter of which is one of the most frustrating gunpla I've ever assembled.
I just built the X2 Custom earlier this year to go along the X1. All I'm missing now is the X3 to complete the Crossbone trifecta. I've never read the manga so I'm not sure if the X0 and Patchwork versions are canon.
still crazy to me that the rg improved on the mg's parts separation by having the yellow of the shoulders and thrusters be parts. that could be part of where the age is felt. tho im def gonna aim to get the mg full cloth someday (not listed as verka but its using the verka as a base), its retail ehich helps
I'm currently working on my Sazabi VerKa and I was wondering if there is any action base or stand that can hold it up. The model is huge and heavy and I assume the regular action bases won't be able to hold it without toppling over. It would just look a little strange that my Nu Gundam VerKa is on an action base, but the Sazabi just has to stand there. Is there perhaps a beefier 3rd party stand that can hold it?
It's a cool kit for sure. I hated making the full cloth but after making the regular Ver Ka that one was more reasonable. But it's definitely dated now. F91/crossbone is really unloved other than the stupid F90 variants and crappy vigna series.
@fantastiCkiLler92 No the one that comes with F90 mission pack L. The X2 kai uses a different rifle, because after the pilot defected, he was resupplied with the Jupiter Empire version of the long rifle. Edit: also some fun fact, the F90 long rifle can shoot both physical and beam rounds, so it uses both magazine and energy packs.
I’ve really grown to love the crossbone designs lately.
For the cape I’d just use the plastic one as a pattern and make one from actual cloth. Very easy to do.
The Crossbone is such a neat looking design. I really enjoyed building the X1 Ver. Ka
Love the black Crossbone Gundam X2 with a lance! 😍👍

2 factories, double the production.
I’m in love with the F97 and I don’t care who knows it.
also I hope we get more kits of the Jupiter Empire Mobile Suits with how unique and bizarre they look.
I always paint that exhaust in the face gold even on the HG versions. It acts like it is flimsy but holds the poses you want.
Such a cool design. I really like that the kits have a lot of weapons.

Yes I still got this kit along with MG X3 Ver. Ka and MG Crossbone Full Cloth 😎

I'd just spring for the RG. Having owned the X2 MG for years. I can tell you right now that the hands can and will lose grip.

Nice and hope bandai will make a series of crossbone or even movie would be nice😁✌👍
Easily my favorite Xbone unit.
Do the Patchwork. It comes with the X1, X3 parts and a cool exclusive shield.

Feel like every yellow sticker on there could have easily been an actual piece. Even for back then it wouldn't be asking too much.
Damn I didn't know this exist!

I always felt this design was influenced by Space Pirate Captain Harlock. I would build this but I'm not decided if the cape is cringe or not, haha!
Is this guy Rhiddie?! That’d be pretty crazy
its not, crossbone happens in UC 133, Riddhe was 23 in UC 96, he would be 60 years old by then and that man is too young to be in his 60's.
Hey Zach, just wanted to say hi. Hope you’re doing good!

not crazy tbh

Is there no skull heart emblem with the X2? I don't care if it's cannon, I need that chest skull :)
I believe you do have it among the extra parts but it may be in the wrong color

what's the thumbnail?
It’s too bad this x2 doesn’t have the long cannon. Only has the lance😢
Technically it exists in one of the F90 optional weapons sets. But it's also p-Bandai...
You mean the cannon that comes with the X2 Kai?

I wish the cloth wasn't so awful to use. That said, the Crossbone is a decent kit for being like 20 years old.
We really need to use cloth like metal build one
This version is only 11 years old. The original Crossbone Gundam X1 ver KA came out in 2006 so it’s not quite 20 years old just yet.
im pretty sure you can wash the cloak to make it softer and more natural looking
use actual trashbag as the cape
First
Relaxing likes love and care for you awe. And theres no animation of crossbone awe its over awe.
