Salmon Fishing in Hokkaido Japan

Salmon fishing in Hokkaido Japan during the autumn of Covid 2020. I finally had time to chase the Chum Salmon during their annual run into the rivers of eastern Hokkaido. Great fishing and learning. The locals refer to the salmon seasons as the Flavour of Autumn, or in Japanese, "Aki Aji". I hope this gives you a sense of autumn fishing in the cold waters of the Sea of Okhostk in Hokkaido, northern Japan.
