Out of all of the members of The Beatles, I really wish I was George Harrison. He was an awesome guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He had a successful solo career, and he married such a lovely woman, who would risk her life to protect him. He was truly a lucky man. We all love and miss you, George! RIP

But I intently watched Olivia recounting the creep who broke in their home and nearly killed them both- she stood by her man and always loved him. In many ways she reminds me of my GF. Those are so key in a deep love and I'm glad she and Dhani have kept George's spirit and music alive.

When I got the DVD, Concert for George, I was mesmerized. I watched it over and over. I saw Dhani for the first time on stage playing all of his Dad's songs, with Eric by his side. It was the first time I got to see Olivia live and yes, she is a classy and very loving lady. You could see how much they loved George. As we all do. I was just watching the Traveling Wilbury's. George's music is a big part of my life because I have stage 4 cancer and so many of his songs reach into my heart and soul!
Yes, I get that The C4G was great in part because of the wonderful music and in part because it was performed by people who had become George's family - that closeness echoed the Beatles themselves in their early years. A wonderful legacy on all counts.

George was a GREAT songwriter. My Guitar Gently Weeps. Old Brown Shoe. My Sweet Lord. Well, just too damn many. SOMETHING. Man, what a musician. And he was country as he listened to his Dad's old Chet Adkins records where he took that to the studio with the Beatles. Just listen to the guitar break in All My Loving. Pure Adkins. George was a fine guitarist, too. If he was the silent Beatle, then his music was louder than almost anyone else. RIP oh great musician.

Dhani's sense of humor is so Georgesque (sorry about any spelling error there.....smh). Olivia sounds like a down to earth soul. Listening to so many George interviews, over the last month, I think he was the smart one. He got the moniker "the quiet one" because of his getting tired of answering the same questions over and over again, so only talking when it was something new or needed. That was his choice not to answer. I applaud that choice. Would that there was more to see, now that he is gone. SMH

George, your son is such a wonderful man. He has you present in everything that he does. You are dearly missed for being 1/4 of the Beatles, 1/2 of your marriage with Wife Olivia and completely whole with your son Dhani and who could forget, your great talent as a Beatle, a solo artist, a Traveling Wilbury and for the man you truly were. Neil Aspinall, a school friend of Paul McCartney and George Harrison. He died of lung cancer in 2008. He is the father of Roag Best, Pete Best's half brother.

I’ve been listening to George’s music more in the last year than ever, and especially in the past few months. It's like looking and listening to a younger george. What a man george harrison was. Thanfully I got some of his solo stuff but I was born in early 80's so I missed the beatles but to be honest I am more thankful for being able to say I seen and listened to George for 20 years before his passing. Easily my favourite beetle and I just loved the way he lived his life. He was taken too soon but the life he lived was a special one that's for sure!

Neil Aspinall was, indeed, the "5th Beatle". He was there for everything that happened when the group was together then went on to run their company (Apple) until shortly before his death. Even George Martin admitted that if there was a 5th Beatle, it was Neil.

Nah the only one who deserves that title is without a doubt George Martin who even if he said otherwise and its obvious, George Martin had a direct effect on the MUSIC which is what the Beatles were first and foremost, nobody else comes close, of course Neil was an extremely important person for the Beatles but for other reasons
