If your camp damages a player, they should be able to start PVP against you or your camp. That inability to retaliate in game is why these are so cowardly and frustrating.
This game in general is terrible for PvP. It takes almost no skill and the combat is so wonky. They should just remove the feature and indirect player damage _(traps)_ entirely, at least until Bethesda knows how to balance PvP games.

@@Dirty_Davos most of these people are coming from the nuclear winter side of things--or they have a grudge against the game in general due to the fact that fallout players (For the most part) are decent people and pretty consistently declined Bethesda's encouragement to murder one another as opposed to play cooperatively. They're not any good at actual PVP/FPS games, so this is kind of their way of trying to ruin the game for the rest of us and/or run off new players. (It's probably more analogous to somebody just going home and beating up their children because they had a rough day at work, though. I mean you can tell this guy is not exactly somebody you'd ever want to go have a beer with, lol)
If losing an inventory of scrap is enough to make a player quit they shouldn’t play online games where death by player is an option . I’m level 80 and still haven’t run into one trap base it’s very rare I’m also a builder and hop around a lot for plans.

Funny enough, it makes want to store my junk. And participate being in the trap bases and then compliment the person who made the base and make them mad by applauding them and not ratting them out. I went into a persons base once after I stored my junk. I stayed at their camp for a little bit and explore their traps for fun
The spike board under the punji stack. If you trigger it the stack should turn invisable, then you can add the walls, then repair the spike board & the stack will come back glitched in the wall. If it still works & was not patched.
I'm so tempted to do trap camp. I think most I've come across have been very clever, and as I always store junk before visiting a camp I have no issues with them lol.

You can either connect a switch to it or leave it connected to power just don’t plan on triggering the trap and having it stay up if you leave power constantly connected. After it breaks just use your camp box to fix the traps when someones inside and it goes off.

the only issue i see with this is once someone goes thru and dies they damage the spikes, then when the 2nd guy comes in they can see the health bars of the spikes thru the wall and wont go in. maybe thats only an issue on xbox idk, also im not sure if its different on PC or not but on xbox u cant repair something until its completely broken. aside from the glaring health bars visible thru the walls this is hilarious and does still work. had a level 400+ run straight in and die lol cracked me up, then him and a level 900 started throwing grenades in the camp so I swapped camps, still pretty darn funny (the guy only dropped like 4 acid so idk why he was so butt hurt)

Instead of sleeping bags you can use footlockers under stash. Makes the blueprints stackable without the extra budget needed 👍🏻

They walk down the hall and rub 100 spikes in the wall. Use the black camp thing to repair all every few kills. They slowly break with use.

the only issue i see with this is once someone goes thru and dies they damage the spikes, then when the 2nd guy comes in they can see the health bars of the spikes thru the wall and wont go in. maybe thats only an issue on xbox idk, also im not sure if its different on PC or not but on xbox u cant repair something until its completely broken. aside from the glaring health bars visible thru the walls this is hilarious and does still work. had a level 400+ run straight in and die lol cracked me up, then him and a level 900 started throwing grenades in the camp so I swapped camps, still pretty darn funny (the guy only dropped like 4 acid so idk why he was so butt hurt)

@@no.springs im not butt hurt, it was hilarious and a fun little camp to build. im only saying it doesnt work well because u can see the health bars after the first person goes in. if u could read ud know that I toggled to a diffferent camp and they didnt blow up anything. was a fun little experience. I was just saying its not that good of a trap camp, its all in good fun, trap camps are great.
