Do not know enough yet about how these traps actually kill a player. How did stacking the spike boards with the spring trap kill a player if they do not step or fall onto it?

Trap camps nerfed, punji boards only do 1pt of damage per board.

I did that base and it's pretty cool, the only issue is that not a lot of people are passing by this area... On the latest update Bethesda nerfed the stacked punji board so 90% of all trap bases are not working anymore I'm looking for a trap base without punji that can be builded in a high trafic area like whitespring, no luck so far

Can't believe I missed this video somehow! Now, it's marked as patched, but I made a blueprint with a ton of flamer traps I could set down behind someone while they are in my vending machine, and it was a lot of fun. It was particularly good for killing wary people who were gun-shy from other traps. You could put a vending machine down on flat clear ground with nothing else around it, and roast someone who was using it before they figured out what was going on. Then you just store all the items by storing the bottom one they are all sitting on, and you can set the blueprint right back down. Try it out Curly!

I wonder if you can do the merge of pressure plate in a pressure plate or something like that I know it's possible to put unlimited doors on some prefab atomic shop building options but can you merge a trap in a prefab like the Lodge 😅

The rad damage doesn’t stack so if the have over like 200 rad res it’s pretty pointless I tried I was old able to kill like 4 noobs most bloody builds tank it easy

I came across a camp similar to this by whitespring station. It took me about 7 tries to run past witout dying. I was determined to make it to the end. 😂

So I re-visited this concept tonight. Got rid of my old, now ineffective auto-kill rad emitter trap since rad traps have been nerfed into the dirt, and tried this spot. It didn't have lightning strikes that destroyed everything like all the other spots I have looked at: If you find any more like that, please shoot me a reply to this so we aren't restricted to only this spot. ;) I rigged up a pressure plate and door combo with an inactive plate inside the door that fools people looking in into thinking "This can't be a trap, he's got a plate inside to let me out." I was also very careful to put the walls around the trap juuusssttt barely outside the damage area, so people pressing up against the walls looking in don't take damage and get tipped off. But it still covers all the area inside, so there are no safe corners, and no things to stand on to get above the area of effect. It works BEAUTIFULY! I can leave, come back, and find multiple loot bags just sitting in the trap, with people going nuts shooting at it, yelling over open mic, and trying frantically to figure out how it works and get their loot back, lol. I love it! And even funnier, since nukes get absorbed in the valley, people have been trying to nuke me and just proccing the new boss event instead! Since you have provided me this much entertainment, I have a suggestion for you that you might have fun with: Your wall-hidden pungi traps that you place so people have to brush by on the way to a vending machine and kill themselves? I have a twist on that. You put a rug on a spring trap over a pit that you can set off with a lever, OR you can obscure the pit with smoke so they just run up to the machine and fall in. When they fall in the pit, have it narrowed and lined on both sides with pungi traps as you would normally, so they brush against the boards as normal as they fall and die. Great thing about this is, if they try to retrieve their loot by jumping back in the pit, they just die again. You can leave it alone and come back to a pit FULL of loot bags, and crowds of people going nuts! Happy trapping, Curly!
