Gabb actually has different versions of phone. The one you reviewed is text and calls only. They do have a plus and pro version. The pro 3 version is towards teens more. Allows video chats and apps downloaded. Also has WiFi capabilities and internet. The plus has no internet but you can download a few approved apps. This is worth mentioning in the review video. Thanks. Also, your company is targeted towards little kids which shouldn’t even be using electronics that often.
Thanks for sharing that! Actually, our Goally tablet is meant to be used throughout the day! By controlling schedules, routines, and access to our apps via the parent app you can help your child build life skills and gain independence! IF you're curious about it check out GetGoally, com
Thats a lie. I purchased the gabb 3 pro phone for my 11yo for xmas 2023. There is no internet at all. I contacted them and they said it as well. Said non of their phones have internet access. The gabb approved apps are very limited only to apps they approve which isnt many as they are more conservative than california. Cant even send gifs through the messenger. Somehow 3 random people called and texted my daughter's phone within a day after she got it and no she didnt give her number out and the only ones with it is my wife and I and my parents. One was asking her to meet them, she texted that he texted the wrong number but he refused to stop claiming he didnt text the wrong one. She didnt tell me and the gabb app on my phone not only didnt alert me but it doesnt even show any of the messeges or calls from those people. I only found out when I answered the phone calls and when i checked to see if she got my text as she dont really like the phone since it is so limited. Ofcourse when I answered the phone and texts i made it clear it was a 11yo girls phone and to loose the number and threatened the one moron that kept trying to get her to "come over". Im sure he had the wrong number but it bothered me that he insisted so much and i had no clue. I obviously blocked all those numbers...when the option came up on her phone. Couldnt do it on mine as it wasnt even showing up. Theres no chat apps besides the one gabb text app. Theres a google playstore but it only shows apps that i approve on the gabb website which has very few apps most of which sucks. No video streaming apps of any kind so no chance of her using her own phone to watch netflix or disney on long car rides with her 5yo brother. I cant send her videos in the text as it wont show up at all yet she can send videos to me that she makes using the camera which makes no sense. If i could figure out a way to bypass the software to get apps on her phone i would but as of rt now theres no way past it. Every youtibe video only worked before the security updates which blocks 90% of the phones features even those that have nothing to do with internet access. Its truely frustrating even more to the parent than the child as we are the ones paying for the phones and the service which costs almost as much as my own phone but has 1/10th the use or features. Im all about keeping my kids safe and limiting or restricting what they do online but gabb takes it to a insane level.
@@GoallyApps yea, the immediate bypass I see here is that I see that it seems to still have a files app, so you could probably hook up the phone to another device and transfer apk files for different apps
@@whitesheepdriver79 probe don't Even need to root, looks like it has a file app still, so the kid could use their school computer to put apk files, including an app store onto the phone
@@Richyrich42 No, not really. It has the same coverage, but from what I read you can't add the phone to your Verizon account, you have to buy a plan through these other people that are probably unreliable and stealing my information (or my child's).
my mom got me one. since i can’t have an actual phone until i’m 16, i’m hyped. i’m 13 rn and it’s not even that bad. my mom said i can add my friends contacts and stuff like that
Sure. As if kids can't figure out how to bypass parental controls. It's impossible to bypass a phone that's tailored for a specific purpose. It's much easier to bypass parental controls.
These phones are terrible!! I’ve had 8 of them! Don’t waste your money. You’ll be on the phone with support for more minutes you pay for phone use and music. Just NO!!
Sure, do it. I’m sure you’ll meet a special needs parent who’s had to be tough and get a good dose of mind your business. If things don’t work for you, great, go don’t use them. Learn to mind yourself and not bother others
If all they get bulled for is a phone thats a win. Get bullet for allot more if they actually have a smart phone and can see those horrid groups, images, videos etc etc.
I think is really controlling, you get your teen a phone so they can be there own person, this takes that away, great for kids but past 14 you really should just get them an actual phone, cause you need to be able to look up stuff for school and download apps for school, undermines the teen trying to grow up in my own opinion, also a child doesn't need a phone or tablet they should be a privilege they can earn and lose
Your def a child and not a parent ima tell you What my parents told me YOU DONT HAVE NO MF WANTS YOU WILL DO AS YOUR TOLD YOU DONT LIKE IT GET GROWN AND MOVE OUT UNTIL THEN YOU WILL FOLLOW MY RULES ARE DONT HAVE A MF PHONE ITS A PRIVILEGE NOT A RIGHT
This is great help for special needs kids. Also for kids in general. If you don’t like it don’t buy it. Get an iPhone for your kids. But don’t try to shame parents for being involved and protecting their children.
A. My kid is still a kid and not a teen B. My kid is sneaky and doesn't respect boundaries like my other kids. For me this is a perfect use case for this phone. If said kid starts making an effort not to be sneaky, they will eventually get a real phone.
This phone does best at making sure you child is insecure, bullied, great way to spend $150😊 Also can't listen to songs with explicit words. You are giving this to a TEEN ofc they're gonna listen to songs with explicit words this phone is for all the screen drooling toddlers who want to feel cool.
well that's a hot take, maybe you've never thought about kids who are developmentally delayed who want to feel like they have a phone, but maybe can't be trusted with all of the access a full phone gives. If it's not for you, chances are it's for someone else.

Can you review the Gabb 3 Pro I’m interested in buying one
We just might!! Subscribe and see if the video comes out ;)
@@GoallyApps ok I did :)
Why would you? Buy a normal phone and use family link
@@whitesheepdriver79 it makes more sense to buy a cheaper phone that already has controls setup.
I know I had one with Parnell controls and I still had RUclips and stuff so just get a phone and do the controls ok please
My one question is does it have oliva Rodrigo and Ashnikko
lol i have no idea
I feel like if the basic protection from keeping kids from installing apps is no browser and no app store, kids are gonna bypass it pretty easily

we returned our gabb phone as we were just doing a product review, but that sounds like a good request for the Gabb phone team!
