I learnt how to make music in weeks...i would literally spend 8h + a day on it during covid. It was such a perfect turn of events now that I look back at it. 1. I was taking a gap year after high school 2. My life felt purposeless. 3. My uncle wasn't going to work so he borrowed me his laptop. 4. It was covid so I could basically do whatever I wanted. I miss the dopamine surge, Making music felt like a drug. I still make music and I still love it...but I will definitely never match that level of hyperfocus/ fluid iq. Also I only ever got diagnosed like 3 years later😅

Hey y’all, it’s a joke. I’ve got diagnosed ADHD, and you’re allowed to feel frustrated with your kid. Obviously you don’t scream at them, but it can be incredibly frustrating from both sides, and it’s okay to acknowledge that through humor.

Not helpful at all. My child is severely Autistic and nonverbal. He elopes for non of those reasons you said. He does it because he thinks its fun. He wants to be chased. He's laughing and looking back as he runs. Since he doesn't understand danger, we have to chase him. If we didnt chase him he might stop. But we can't risk not chasing him.
