One of the biggest problems faced by motorhomers and campervanners during winter is finding somewhere to stay. Many campsites close and it can be tough to find the ones which remain open.
For everyone who wants a winter adventure but doesn't want to wild park or use pub stops, ​here are some of the ways​ that I use to find open campsites during the off-season in both the UK and Europe.

Hi Kat, could you answer me a question. When you're on hook up, does it charge your lithium and engine battery. I've just bought a motorhome with a lithium leisure battery, when I'm on hook up at home it's charging the lithium fine but my engine battery is not being charged. I bought the van 3 days ago and the dealer is telling me that the engine battery won't charge on hook up now because of the lithium leisure battery. This sounds total bs to me. I'd like your insight please.

Lithium requires a totally different charging method to you vehicles lead acid battery so once the vehicles charger is set up for Lithium I don't think it will charge your vehicle battery as the vehicle battery requires a different charge rate... unless someone knows otherwise?
