Thanks for another quality video, Kat, sharing our recent experience of a "hab" check: done by an approved NCC mobile engineer, on site at the storage place (he must have a generator for 240v), wanted all floor areas clear (inc lockers etc) for access, fresh water tank filled ready to test the system, gas and battery in place, very comprehensive report and cost £180.

Gives me peace of mind when I am sleeping next to gas and electrical systems.

Thanks Kat, answered my questions. Thanks for the window locks video, I’ve bought mine now, the company was very helpful in advising me which ones I needed.

Hi kat I have just bought a new motorhome and the tell me the gas and electric habitation check require separate certificates which are done separately from the hab check so it charged on there own,but they will do it all together save ing the van going in and out on different day.
    Regards
    Mick

Anyone can become a Hab check "Engineer" after taking a 5 day course. Scary isn't it....

I'm assuming that the same principle applies to camper vans as well as moho's?
