I liked the sets we got this year, my favorite being Kai's Climber Mech. I only wish the minifigure distribution was better. We got 3 total ninja suit lines this year, and almost all ninja minifigures are exclusive to one set. Take the Climber suits for example. It's unnecessarily hard to complete the collection wich is a bit of a bummer.
My Top 5 sets would be 1: Source Dragon of Motion 2: Tournament Temple City 3: Coles Titan Dragon Mech 4: Wolf Mask Shadow Dojo 5: Egalt the Master Dragon
This year I got Kai, Cole and Lloyds elemental power mechs, Jay's mech battle pack, nya's rising dragon strike, teenage riyu, dragon stone shrine, Zane's bike, tournament polybag, and tournament arena! Which means I got 10 sets from dragons rising season 2 (I also got the magazines that came with all the climber ninja)
@@Crusty783 yup, the shrine is the first ever Ninjago set I bought not focusing on Minifigures or completing the suit line, I just got it because it was so stunning and it's definitely the most beautiful Ninjago set of the year
I got all 4 of the elemental mechs (which personally I really don't like them), Jay's battle pack, teenage Riyu, Arin's off-road buggy (which I got for my birthday), Zane's bike (just for the Zane fig), the tournament battle arena and most recently Cole's titian mech. I'm currently saving up for Kai's climber mech and hopping to get the shadow dojo for Christmas. I would try to get Eaglet and/or the Source Dragon of Motion, but I just don't have the space for dragons.
I used to be really into Ninjago sets but for the last few years I stopped getting them. I just fell out of it, but I’m starting to get back into them now and man do I regret not getting some sets. I don’t even have any sets from Seabound and that’s my favorite season. I even got rid of old sets I used to have and I regret that so much. I am mainly just into location sets, stuff that makes for good display pieces. I don’t really care about vehicle sets. I really want the Dragon Stone Shrine and Wolf Mask Shadow Dojo
those two sets are really great! i'd definitely reccomend them. i feel they go really well together too with one having a goated minifigure selection and the other having a legendary build (shadow dojo build is great too tho!)
I have only been collecting Ninjago sets as much as Dragons Rising back during Skybound. These are so good, and so fun to build. Although the lack of villain sets and generic sets is a bit disappointing
this year has had some banger sets i only have the jay mech and riyu at the moment but hoping to get more eventually this has been a really soild year for ninjago
Wolf Mask Shadow Dojo and Tournament Battle Arena are my favorite builds i made this year. I plan on getting Cole's Titan Mech for christmas, so it'll probably take the title for my favorite i built this year right at the end xD
The sets this year are the best outside of the Ninjago movie, since I love both the sets and the season finally, unpopular opinion most of the Ninjago sets never appealed to me despite loving most of the show and then we got crystalized which great sets but eh you know Anyways also what a coincidence of an upload I guess its life’s timing of a gift to me since it’s my birthday today at the time this was uploaded lol
I definitely want at least the Tournament Temple City, Cole Dragon mech, and Kai Climber mech (already have some of the smaller sets). But I’m curious when the best time to buy them? I want to wait until Black Friday, but I don’t know how it works with the Lego Store if they even do that. I haven’t been Black Friday shopping in years and I’ve never shop at a Lego store before. Literally just got back into buying Ninjago sets again bc of DR, haven’t bought since Skybound. So what would be best bc I’m uninformed
Waiting until Black Friday is definitely the shout. Even if LEGO isn't doing any deals, you'll likely be able to find some on Amazon or in other places
Someone commented about how Sora cause of her time at imperium doesn’t feel comfortable needing to fully conform visually and as for Arin, well you know what happened at the end of season 2 lol
kinda! the idea for this started as just a basic compilation of my three videos discussing each 2024 set wave, but during production started becoming more than that. the visuals here have been completely reworked, a load of sections got re-edited/recorded in some cases, and there's a whole new 6minute long segment at the end ranking all the sets. so to answer your question: i'd say this thing exists somewhere halfway between a compilation and a new video
May i say, not a big fan of the huge tournament temple city. Mainly becase of the main temple. The temple is too small imo, and i personaly dislike how its pushed to the right side. It makes the temple feel less grand. Also the cave cliff phase thingy witch temple is built on is just plain and boring looking, becase its only one shade of gray mixed with one shade of green. Also the bridge looks weird, i don't like it. I personally think Temple of airjitzu, while smaller, looks way more impressive becase the temple itself is bigger, and its not pushed to the side. Again this is my oppinion, and personally i would say that it would be at number 5, maybe 6. I accually pefer the 15€ riyu compared to the city. Oh and the new Cole mech might be my new favorite set of all time, Beating ninjago city gardens
I don't like the march wave. Nos I know that im not the main target but they have ruined every characters value by putting them in a magazine or 50+sets

In the set you get 2 extra golden armors one for arin and if you get battel arena one for sora
The Egalt set is pure amaizngness. Top 3 set of the year along with shadow dojo and battle arena
I got the source dragon, shadow dojo, tournament battle arena, and the Zane bike. They were all fun to build.
nice! battle arena is awesome

I would happily have taken one less suit line if it meant Arin and Sora got included more
@@Crusty783 Yeah, same.
They all come in the magazines
@@robloxanimator6653 That's great, however not everyone can get the magazines
@@MagicPotato08 I live in the US, so I order them from a UK site called "Unique Magazines"
My Top 5 sets would be
1: Source Dragon of Motion
2: Tournament Temple City
3: Coles Titan Dragon Mech

5: Egalt the Master Dragon
this is a great list! nice to see egalt here

Great year of ninjago I just wish arin and sora still got mech pilot and climber suits
me too 💔

Thank you so much :), 2024 was honestly a better year for me mentally then last year.
Thanks for the content skeleton guy
Also I feel like Kai’s climber mech should not 50 dollars. It has 623 pieces, so while not ideal, 70 dollars isn’t that bad imo
