Very cool. I'm surprised the colonel wasn't fastest but that just shows how good the campers suspension is. I wonder if the Odyssey could have been faster.
yah i kinda don't get this, the camper is at what half power? Senders had a full solid tune for a long time...and new suspension since. Has been driven and raced lots, track times invaluable important for a good lap time, campers tube frame is still just tack welded. Its only half done if that. Must be flexing learning some trixs from all the builds.
@@ericjones5700 i figured maybe it was a confidence thing, if you roll in the colonel, you could break your neck/ back. if you roll in the dream camper, you should be fine.
i also wonder what awd ratio he was using, since you can dial it it. it looked like it was either full rwd or close to it. i wonder what going with more power to the front would do? im guessing it would actually be slower, and more understeer, but i dont really know.
@@socks2441 The camper is also a cvt which is going to be an advantage on a short technical track like this. What surprised me me was how close sendy was on time. I know it's well tuned but i really didn't think it would be that close. Still the colonel is still the coolest thing they've built in my opinion.

Ya'll need a better timing system. I've got 7 beam sensors around my backyard track, wired into a USB encoder, and it keeps time up .001 of a second. Way more accurate than a human with a stopwatch. In addition to lap times, I've got 3 speed traps for measuring MPH, similar to how a drag strip works. I'd be happy to set you up with everything you'd need to get started, just let me know if you are interested. Keep up the amazing builds and great videos.

It's interesting how all the homemade vehicles land the jump smoothly, and slightly rear-end first, but all the production road vehicles smash down on the front end first.
Mostly has to do with length of takeoff/ length of vehicle ratio. For something like the 6x6 the radius of that jump is more aggressive
Love watching you all run those things, so much time in the garbage and to see how well they perform, just great content!

Every single destroyed janky vehicle is just exactly the type of stuff you'd expect from the habitants of that unfinished tarpaper shack. The treehouses are def the nicest thing here
That kinda sucks for all the vehicles that didn't get to finish but at least you now know where they need to be strengthened up for next time when you rebuild them.
