St trina and miquella arnt radagon/marika type level. They are seperate , miyazaki even said think of them as seperate existences. St trina is just tied to his fate.

Super hyped for the DLC, and it's been a blast checking out your Elden Ring journey on RUclips. I'm very excited for the DLC and wonder if it will answer more questions than it will create. Miquella is a character we know little about from the base game, except that he was abducted from his cocoon/womb in the Haligtree by the Lord of Blood, and St. Trina is somehow a female alter ego of Miquella. His sister, Malenia, called him the most fearsome of the Empyreans, but we don't really know more about what went down. Can't wait!
Ubisoft releases cinematic cg trailer before gameplay while fromsoftware do the exact opposite, really shows which one actually cares for gamers

for context, those glowing poles that the npcs where kneeling before is the new grace. The Shadow realm is a place devoid of grace, so instead of following the guiding light of grace like in the main game, you're following Miquella's steps and he leads the story for you.
nah, apparently there are still sites of grace in the game as seen by a promotional image shared by fromsoft, they are probably a separate mechanic

me and a friend beat sister friede in dark souls 3 second try in both our worlds and just as we celebrated I noticed that the new trailer just came out. we both screamed at our screen its looks too lit, all our prayers have been answered to finally see lord miquella and trina too, and messmer looks like the perfect main villain for the new lore, he's him.

Man I really feel that you are into, and care for the game’s story from the last episode and this trailer reaction.
If you want to deepen your appreciation for the DLC I would recommend that you dive into the lore a bit (after you finish the main game) since much of it will most likely be about Miquella, Marika and probably explaining other lore stuff.
There’s a lot out there. The most easily digestible, imo, is Vaatividya’s “Prepare to Cry” or “Elden Ring movies” episodes. I would so watch your reaction of those!

If you read like the description of the prayerbook where you get sleep pots and sleep arrows i think, it talks about someone looking for st. Trina, aka miquella.
And i forgot which other item says that basically they dont know if st trina is a boy or a girl, so maybe miquella is a boy and his other half is a girl kinda like how radagon and marika are one
A little lore of miquella says that he and radagon had a great relationship, miquella was also known for having the power to make people do whatever he wants, many gravitate towards him, including mohg the lord of blood. This is also mentioned in the trailer "he wields love to shrive clean the hearts of men. There is nothing more terrifying"
Miquella was cursed to be a child forever and so he tried breaking his and malenias curse in the haligtree he was in a cacoon but then mohg the pedophile stole him
so basically we're going to hell/shadow lands, maybe called by miquella, to kill messmer and then starts miquella's reign

Fromsoft games have a tendency to have potentially DLCs greater than the main game if not just as good. So be prepared to have a big DLC and for it to be potentially just as good as the main game.

Davo you should watch some lore videos for Elden ring they are all speculations based on item descriptions but they help you understand the world of Elden ring they will contain spoilers and such of future fights you haven fought yet but they are all great VaatiVidya is a personal favorite

I like how Miquella is likely the one narrating and telling us how kindly Miquella is and how "we" *CHOSE* to follow. Nothing suspicious at all about that.
Also: the thing you asked about it likely his Great Rune. The long "stick" part sticking out of the ground could just be to connect it, but the rest of the shape is likely his Great Rune.
I thought that the one who was narrating was one of the group who went into the shadow realm to follow miquella
@@cashmunycoop Compare it to the first trailer. We hear this exact voice, and we hear it telling us to "touch the withered arm" and generally seeming extremely knowledgeable about the past.
It's heavily likely to be Miquella, because the only alternative is that we're getting Rogier 2.0. Rogier is the only normal NPC to have that much exposition available to us, so I think the likelihood of another Rogier is rather poor.
@@Longknife I could totally see that, but it still could be one of the people in the band of knights. They might have gotten there by touching the arm, and since the y follow miquella they obviously know stuff about him. He might have told them about it so they have a reason to follow him and so they know his cause. It also seems like that band of npcs will be very important to the storyline, and they might help us onto our feet so we get accustomed to the land of shadow.
