- The EWS managers train (with 67029) ran on the 21/06/12 from London Paddington - Edinburgh but started to suffer difficulties in the St Neots area so the locomotive from the ECML route refresher duties (67028) was attached to the front of the managers train to pull the stricken 67029 and it's train to it's destination
Great video. Nice shots. I heard about this but couldn't get out to see it. Great you got the Flying Scotsman DVT as the EWS Mangers train goes off.
Awesome, Rare, footage well done!! Amazed they managed to get loco numbers 67028 and 029 together lol. My only wish was that you filmed in the cab door of RD while they had the door open, never mind... Lol
Certainly right place at the right time there - very nice piece of filming showing the events.
A great catch & nicely put together.
Nice catch there mate.
Ash.
Good catch.
Ah right that's interesting, I've not seen in a cab of a 67 before though, so it's a mystery to me lol
Nice video Jules
Thanks
Brillant
Ok cheers,
More like ROUGH Diamond . . ?
mystery as the train came in OK on it's own steam 🤔
May have been something as simple as a safety system problem, loco would still work but not safely.
028 and 029 cool
