12:58 The player actually used to have a health bar as well and the only way i found you could damage it (or at least, as a non-star rider with too much time on my hands) was by standing on foot in the way of the car that rode through the area between Jarl's tomb, and Steve's. The player health to my knowledge did not regenerate so if you stood there for long enough, eventually it would run out. The screen still only sent you to home stable though.
But it would have been hilarious if it just took you to Doyle’s Abbey (when it used to be a graveyard lol) and said ‘Aideen has resurrected you!’ or something lmao
Yeah, it was! the two characters were also named Tristan and Isolde, wich is a very cool easter egg, considering that "Tristan und Isolde" is a real life romance novel! (I remember reading it for school and raging about how every character was stupid lmao)

She shows footage of it and explains that the player justin moorland was actually an sso employee running a social experiment to see how the community would react to interactable things like this!
A few things I just wanted to add - The music that is heard when you are near a fridge door, that is the Starshine Legacy's Dark Core theme. - I think the road extra speed has been removed, and instead of that "faster gallop" has been added as a gait - I always thought the purple car was Jarlaheims major(?) - as there was a quest taking a trailer to the Riding Hall..so I always thought the race was a nod to that
The deepest tier lacks a server where, when someone moved, the account was reset to start and all the star coins that had been earned/bought/spent were collected back and you had a lvl 1 account with tens of thousands of star coins. This happened at the beginning of the server's existence and then I don't know what happened to it
I was actually offered this I believe in 2015. When I moved from the US to New Zealand and asked to shift over server regions (different to just changing servers), they said it wasn't possible to retain all of my progress and horses if i chose to move to the NZ server region. I chose not to of course, and with the time difference played during the night (in game) for many years. When the ability to change the time of day arrived in game I cried!
Re: 2:00, When I saw Pandoria, I didn't think "Pandora" as in Avatar, I thought "Pandora" as in the Greek mythological figure with the box. ...And I'd guess that Avatar was referencing the same thing. It seems like a pretty sensible thing to reference in both cases, evoking the idea of something that is possibly dangerous, but still compelling to explore, y'know?
47:51, in Swedish the letter ”I” is pronounced similar to the letter ”E” in English which might be why its spelled ”Wiiii”. It makes sense in Swedish and is pronounced the same as ”Weeee”.

23:34 I remember a few years ago someone had "Discovered" bread island, it was one of the islands in the sunset isles thing by New Hillcrest stables. It was one of the islands you couldn't naturally get to without either bugging out your horses jump or plain glitching too it. I don't remember who discovered it or exactly when but I remember 2018 me attempting to reach it multiple times. Might not remember it correctly though ^^; Also the amount of memories this brought up is amazing! I almost forgot entirely about the salon music! I started the game in 2015 so I adored this trip down memory lane
There is another hidden "emote" along with /gestures, called /brb. It has no animation, but it will show in chat to nearby players and say "[Player] will be right back!". Also the popular "dressage" originated on the European servers and was called that because Phil the filter didn't recognize the word "Quadrille" and it wasn't permitted in chat back then. So players would advertise it as just dressage for ease of conversation. There were other nitpicky stuff I could point out too, but those I felt were the most important. Lovely video, bringed me good nostalgia and memories, keep it up!
Wow this kind of just blew my mind, I had no idea about sso “dressage” actually being quadrille. I had to look up that term and I was amazed because that’s exactly what it is! All this time I just assumed the sso community was just doing the closest thing to dressage they could while throwing in some random moves and making it a group thing. Thanks for elaborating on that!
I can actually explain the white fence thing on paddock island. It's something I figured out myself overtime! I don't know if this is still a thing in game, I haven't really noticed it lately, but there was a time back in the day where if you rode near any NPC with a quest or just anything you could interact with, the game wouldn't let you jump. Since there is an NPC girl standing by the fence, that is what would prevent you from jumping it. Here's the interesting part though: The NPC girl only has a daily quest available on Fridays, so if you do the race on any other day of the week, you can jump the fence no problem! I used to train a lot back then, so eventually I learned to avoid the jump on Fridays 😆

also, before, that sound used to depend on the person! for example, my friend had the sound of doing the dailys while making the greendale bridge, meanwhile i had the one talked about it the video 😄 this was 7/8 years ago, i still hear the same sound while logging in, but idk about the other one
For dolly the sheep, I am 99% sure that the Dolly you see in Jarlaheim is actually a clone of another sheep- Dolly. Well, the second (or the first) dolly is found under the cliff where Mika lands with her balloon... There was also a quest about that one specific sheep and many people theorised it was because of the cloning experiment... Well, I guess SSO went with it and actually cloned Dolly and moved her to Jarlaheim !
I am not sure if the quest is still in-game, but It was given by a girl in that area with pigtails, where she was looking for her sheep or something. It's one of the oldest quests in the game, as I remember playing it years and years ago with gen1 horses
Just checked, yep, I was right... the sheep is still there, and it's the only sheep in that area! Well, it doesn't have any name above it's head but I'm sure it's named Dolly- there were theories about it aftterall back in 2014 or so, regarding the name and if it was a namesake after the original cloned sheep!

My mystery is the original game textures. An employee accidentally revealed to me through an angry comment that they were licensed assets, not created for the Star stable brand, and now I’m on the hunt to find the asset license and buy it for myself LOL

id like to add the saddest glitch removal of all time: the fogless dino valley. you used to be able to remove the fog from dino valley by going to the riding hall, dismounting your horse and leaving it there and going to the valley by foot (took like 10 min). When you entered the Elevator down the fog in dino valley would be completely gone. This was like the most popular glitch in the editing community and i will truly never understand why they removed it.....

Fun fact about Jojo Siwa, her model and all the objects she came with are still in the game files for some reason 27:30 You're right, If I remember correctly SSO gave us a bunch of options we could combine to make a magical horse design and if you uploaded a picture of it onto instagram you had a chance to have "your design" chosen. So technically there was a limited amount of possible combinations and I'm sure they were all suggested multiple times by the end. Unfortunately I don't remember how we created the designs, since I'm pretty sure you did not have to draw or edit anything yourself. 32:00 Now you can get into locked goldenhills through halloween activities, unlock the ferry, and go there without problems or cheat warnings. I'm sure the first pigs were actually retired during the 10th bday or something like that, but they had to retire the rest because some of the piggies snuck out of the shop lol. They have appeared again at the bazaar, as you said, but they appeared before and that was their intended retirement day. They retired the seals as well and that was at the bazaar too if I'm not mistaken.
I always thought the heart in the Cape West sand was from the two pirate/smugglers in the cave nearby. The Paddock Island fence is also only jumpable if the kid doesn't have a daily quest. If he does for the day, you can't jump over him for some reason.
Ahh yeah I thought that maybe the quest was the reason for the unjumpable fence but I also thought it could’ve been the model update for the fence itself, I wasn’t sure lol :P thank you for your insight!

I used to play sso a looot. Someone in my class played this game, and ever since I saw it, I fell in love with the game. I started playing in 2017/2018. I made soo many memories playing it and made a lot of good friends back in that time. This game helped me so much during that time,it was all I couldn't have irl. Just played it again after not playing for about a year or so. This reminded me of many features which now are just missing. When I logged back in,last week, I just started crying when hearing that some songs and noises were still in game. It felt very nostalgic. TYSM for explaining the SSO Iceberg, it refreshed my mind! I used to play starstable a LOT as a child (2014-2018) and i just wanna say I adore this video, the amount of nostalgia oh my gooood. You reminded me of soo much stuff that was deeply hidden within my memory😭😭🫶 also coming back to find out Ydris turned into a tumblr sexy man is WILD lol i always used to think hes just a random mysterious dude pre makeover. Also i can confirm the Linda crying noises from the castle was real!!! At first i didnt know what you were talking about but when you played the clip i vividly remembered how i was standing around in front if the castle trying to figure out how to free her because her crying made me so sad. I have two little things that you missed in the video :D 1) Old UI - the minimap has a different place now, and there were icons around it that are now in another corner; some buttons are new 2) no global shop - if you were looking for a specific clothing/tack item (f.e. to buy a club outfit), you had to go to that specific shop. And the database was much more needed back then, because without it was so difficult to get an overview which items were available

Firstly though- I want to add that they have removed the grind with closing pandorian rifts, super big bummer! I want to confirm that yes, the first 3 magic ponies were designed by the player base! It was run on Instagram where we had to like pictures with features we liked. Can also confirm that the pigs did have a small comeback in 2023- had forgotten about it but found out now since they are being discontinued, because I somehow had one on my 2nd account when I went to check. xD The chat heart being with alt + 9 sounds I've never heard of before! For me it has always been shift + 3/4, can't exactly remember the number. But yes, this seems to have been disabled, unsure when though! AH the amazing Star Stable Randomness, all those videoes were the golden era of SSO... XD THEY CHANGED THE CHAMPIONSHIP SYSTEM?! I thought it was still a thing to remove your tack, I've just grown too lazy to do it, welp- good to know that is no longer a thing. XD Star Stable Run, I remember hearing about it and being so excited, it would have been so great. :') Is it weird I miss the zone trailers??? I didn't know we actually managed to save fred ahhh, that is so cool! :') Didn't know they had TV commercials either, I heard of it through school and website ads >-< I am honestly amazed at both how much I remember but also the few things I forgot or didn’t even notice! 53:17 this is one of my favourite facts. the swiss flag is due to the geneva convention! It prohibits any display of the red cross that isn’t truly a mecial center (or similar) in real life. So in many games, anything to do with medicine which would generally be marked with the red cross, has its colours either changed OR inverted, which then ends up looking like the swiss flag. in this instance i assume the dog is supposed to resemble an avalanche-dog of sorts, hence the cross.

I haven't played sso in ages, but I wanted to watch this for nostalgia. I started playing in dec 2014, so I remember the old things here :) There are a few things I maybe would have added (I haven't seen any other sso icebergs, so maybe you left them out on purpose) Maya used to be named May, I have no idea why they changed her name. You could only own one hairstyle/makeup look at a time. If you had hair A, bought hair B and after a while wanted to go back to hair A, you would have to pay for hair A again. There was a glitch that made you go SUPER fast. It was so fun! I did use it in a race once ehe. Fort pinta used to be run by a literal kid, he looks a bit older now right? Also the shark there could bite you if you fell in the water on it and you would be sent home. Ferdinand's horse marked used to travel around. (I can't remember if you mentioned this or not, sorry if you did) Steve's place and the village looks so different now, I can't remember if the clock in the village actually worked or not. Since I haven't played in a long time I don't know what's still in the game, so maybe there are some other things as well. But this was really good! (Also I feel like I remember the crying from the castle as well)

At the 25 minute mark when you're talking about time, I just got back into the game and was doing a quest. There's someone who's come to the island and they say they're here for the summer camp and one of your responses is something like "Was that what I came for too?" Or "I remember something like that!" It was pretty funny to include actually lol I've been playing since 2012 so it's wild to watch your video and be constantly going "Awh! I remember that!!" Or "Ugh, I remember that.." 😂 Fantastic video so far!

Wasn’t there some glitch that at midnight you could replay the same race to earn extra for you horse fast. Everyone would do the jumping race at Marley’s farm to quickly level up their horse
not only the races. All dailies could be replayed around that time. In Germany I believe we were able to do it from midnight to 3 am. Was done with the bridge and pandoric rifts in no time xD Even switched accounts with my cousin cause I hated doing the rifts so she did that for me and I've built the bridge for her. I feel so old watching this.. I think they removed this sometime after the release of epona but I'm not sure, so long ago

Yes the first magic horses were done with a bunch of options that you could choose and mix together through a link! Also I get kinda sad with all the mysteries like the witch or the vent/drains etc, as I feel like we’ll never get to know what they are since they have changed the story a lot. Another, yes I think I remember the horse being a 1000sc as I remember thinking how strange that was

Hello! Thank you soso much for this video, it brought back SO many memories! I still remember the Justin Moorland thing! In my memory it was a liiiittle bit different tho- There was a player roaming around named "Justin Moorland" and everybody in the community thought it was a hacker and the rumor was that the second the hacker would interact with you or you with them, they would hack your account. This happening took place over a few weeks and stopped with a new bug fix from star stable, announcing that a bug had been fixed that allowed players to type in names rather than coose one from the list. -Looking back the "Justin Moorland" was probably just one of the first players to discover this and countless copycats followed who wanted to troll. At the time star stable also noted that this name changed player would not have been able to hack other players so that was just bs. I still remember once encountering a "Justin Moorland" who sent me a friend request, prompting me to close the game immediately lol!

Theres a silhouette of a horse and rider burned into the walls in forgotten fields, Landon and Anna's tree carving on the border of hollow woods, there was a time where we couldnt take off the saddle pad, and where star riders were the only ones to get a private home stable, mane styles came out in the 2010s, loretta's horse teased it from the beginning, and yes, fresians were on sale, then did go up to 1299 (they were taller and had feathering, and that was EVERYTHING)

There was actually a horse that did cost more than 1000 sc other than the friesians! :) The white gen 1 fjord horse. I believe it's price was like 1425, while other fjords only costed 780 sc. ^^
You totally forgot the scariest bug of all, the face popping up on the loading screen like a jump scare. It’s been fixed but seeing that before pulling an all nighter is terrifying.

Yes the pigs were added for a week! I got two of them. :D Really hope they bring the seals back too because I didn't play back when they were in the game. You also can get yeeted back into your stable (with the black screen saying your horse got an injury) if you and your horse fall in a certain way. It's rare but it happens. There's a tiny edge/cliff thingy in the middle of Cape West fishing village that will do this instantly if you jump/walk off of it, for some reason.
I have something to add to Fripp. So in SSO it is Canon that he dosen't know where he is from. But in Starshine he reveals that him and his people are from outer space and fell to Jordvik while transporting Garnok to some intergalactic prison.
1:01:14 the yellow note says “call Lisa!!!” With a phone number! The white notes seems to be a list of horse breeds, possibly a ranking? Jorvik warmblood is on top, with different pony breeds also listed

love this video!! i joined in late 2019 so i didnt really experience all the good years in sso but i have deep dived into this game for a while so theres not much for me to explore anymore sadly, i remember cold tolerant horses and i really miss that feature :( i have also noticed no one goes to the disco anymore, but maybe thats just my server. i was obsessed with SSO theories and lore in 2019-2021, and this video made me remember lots of things that i forgot about ^^
Its been close to six years since i first made my sso account back in december of 2018.I clicked on this video out of intrigue to see what i could remember and what i did not know. I stopped being an sso fanatic in around 2021-2022 i think? So ive been very behind on everything as i could probably count on one hand how many times ive logged on since then.Ive recently been logging on here and there to see whats up and perhaps grinding a little bit. Seeing the concept art for the dark riders jumpscared me because i havent seen katya (the only dark rider i remember)in the new art style yet.I was so confused on who they were hahaha. There is another hidden text inside a book in what is now the sacred grove (stone circle? its in the portal in valedale). It is in the second room, with all the books. There is one laying open on a table, that has some blurry but somewhat decipherable text. Loved this vid :)

13:28 SSO dressage is actually a real thing, Its called Quadrille dressage where many people are doing the exact moves as in sso. + In Starshine legacy while playing Anne, this type of dressage was there, where you had to do a curl, fate, curl over ext. Ive seen many people say that it was sso players that invented this form of dressage even though it was in the originals, and its an actual dressage form💕❤
Sorry for like the 8 thousandth comment, but anyone else remember the graphics update that was quickly phased out after a year or two? It added ‘realistic’ shadows to everything (including houses, and trees), but apparently it was too graphic intensive so it was removed and replaced with horse-only shadows. It was around 2014-2016

12:58 The player actually used to have a health bar as well and the only way i found you could damage it (or at least, as a non-star rider with too much time on my hands) was by standing on foot in the way of the car that rode through the area between Jarl's tomb, and Steve's. The player health to my knowledge did not regenerate so if you stood there for long enough, eventually it would run out. The screen still only sent you to home stable though.
But it would have been hilarious if it just took you to Doyle’s Abbey (when it used to be a graveyard lol) and said ‘Aideen has resurrected you!’ or something lmao

- I think the road extra speed has been removed, and instead of that "faster gallop" has been added as a gait

The deepest tier lacks a server where, when someone moved, the account was reset to start and all the star coins that had been earned/bought/spent were collected back and you had a lvl 1 account with tens of thousands of star coins. This happened at the beginning of the server's existence and then I don't know what happened to it
I was actually offered this I believe in 2015.
When I moved from the US to New Zealand and asked to shift over server regions (different to just changing servers), they said it wasn't possible to retain all of my progress and horses if i chose to move to the NZ server region. I chose not to of course, and with the time difference played during the night (in game) for many years. When the ability to change the time of day arrived in game I cried!
Re: 2:00, When I saw Pandoria, I didn't think "Pandora" as in Avatar, I thought "Pandora" as in the Greek mythological figure with the box. ...And I'd guess that Avatar was referencing the same thing. It seems like a pretty sensible thing to reference in both cases, evoking the idea of something that is possibly dangerous, but still compelling to explore, y'know?

23:34 I remember a few years ago someone had "Discovered" bread island, it was one of the islands in the sunset isles thing by New Hillcrest stables. It was one of the islands you couldn't naturally get to without either bugging out your horses jump or plain glitching too it. I don't remember who discovered it or exactly when but I remember 2018 me attempting to reach it multiple times. Might not remember it correctly though ^^;

I think this was a myth. People have glitched onto that island before, and that did _not_ get Bread Island unlocked in the discovered areas list.
There is another hidden "emote" along with /gestures, called /brb. It has no animation, but it will show in chat to nearby players and say "[Player] will be right back!".
Also the popular "dressage" originated on the European servers and was called that because Phil the filter didn't recognize the word "Quadrille" and it wasn't permitted in chat back then. So players would advertise it as just dressage for ease of conversation.
There were other nitpicky stuff I could point out too, but those I felt were the most important. Lovely video, bringed me good nostalgia and memories, keep it up!
Wow this kind of just blew my mind, I had no idea about sso “dressage” actually being quadrille. I had to look up that term and I was amazed because that’s exactly what it is! All this time I just assumed the sso community was just doing the closest thing to dressage they could while throwing in some random moves and making it a group thing. Thanks for elaborating on that!

I can actually explain the white fence thing on paddock island. It's something I figured out myself overtime!
I don't know if this is still a thing in game, I haven't really noticed it lately, but there was a time back in the day where if you rode near any NPC with a quest or just anything you could interact with, the game wouldn't let you jump. Since there is an NPC girl standing by the fence, that is what would prevent you from jumping it.
Here's the interesting part though: The NPC girl only has a daily quest available on Fridays, so if you do the race on any other day of the week, you can jump the fence no problem! I used to train a lot back then, so eventually I learned to avoid the jump on Fridays 😆

also, before, that sound used to depend on the person! for example, my friend had the sound of doing the dailys while making the greendale bridge, meanwhile i had the one talked about it the video 😄 this was 7/8 years ago, i still hear the same sound while logging in, but idk about the other one

For dolly the sheep, I am 99% sure that the Dolly you see in Jarlaheim is actually a clone of another sheep- Dolly. Well, the second (or the first) dolly is found under the cliff where Mika lands with her balloon... There was also a quest about that one specific sheep and many people theorised it was because of the cloning experiment... Well, I guess SSO went with it and actually cloned Dolly and moved her to Jarlaheim !
I am not sure if the quest is still in-game, but It was given by a girl in that area with pigtails, where she was looking for her sheep or something. It's one of the oldest quests in the game, as I remember playing it years and years ago with gen1 horses
Just checked, yep, I was right... the sheep is still there, and it's the only sheep in that area! Well, it doesn't have any name above it's head but I'm sure it's named Dolly- there were theories about it aftterall back in 2014 or so, regarding the name and if it was a namesake after the original cloned sheep!

id like to add the saddest glitch removal of all time: the fogless dino valley.
you used to be able to remove the fog from dino valley by going to the riding hall, dismounting your horse and leaving it there and going to the valley by foot (took like 10 min). When you entered the Elevator down the fog in dino valley would be completely gone.
This was like the most popular glitch in the editing community and i will truly never understand why they removed it.....
You can still do this using the portal next to the vault in dino valley

27:30 You're right, If I remember correctly SSO gave us a bunch of options we could combine to make a magical horse design and if you uploaded a picture of it onto instagram you had a chance to have "your design" chosen. So technically there was a limited amount of possible combinations and I'm sure they were all suggested multiple times by the end. Unfortunately I don't remember how we created the designs, since I'm pretty sure you did not have to draw or edit anything yourself.

I'm sure the first pigs were actually retired during the 10th bday or something like that, but they had to retire the rest because some of the piggies snuck out of the shop lol. They have appeared again at the bazaar, as you said, but they appeared before and that was their intended retirement day. They retired the seals as well and that was at the bazaar too if I'm not mistaken.
I always thought the heart in the Cape West sand was from the two pirate/smugglers in the cave nearby. The Paddock Island fence is also only jumpable if the kid doesn't have a daily quest. If he does for the day, you can't jump over him for some reason.

I used to play sso a looot. Someone in my class played this game, and ever since I saw it, I fell in love with the game. I started playing in 2017/2018. I made soo many memories playing it and made a lot of good friends back in that time. This game helped me so much during that time,it was all I couldn't have irl. Just played it again after not playing for about a year or so. This reminded me of many features which now are just missing. When I logged back in,last week, I just started crying when hearing that some songs and noises were still in game. It felt very nostalgic. TYSM for explaining the SSO Iceberg, it refreshed my mind!

I have two little things that you missed in the video :D
1) Old UI - the minimap has a different place now, and there were icons around it that are now in another corner; some buttons are new
2) no global shop - if you were looking for a specific clothing/tack item (f.e. to buy a club outfit), you had to go to that specific shop. And the database was much more needed back then, because without it was so difficult to get an overview which items were available

53:17 this is one of my favourite facts. the swiss flag is due to the geneva convention! It prohibits any display of the red cross that isn’t truly a mecial center (or similar) in real life. So in many games, anything to do with medicine which would generally be marked with the red cross, has its colours either changed OR inverted, which then ends up looking like the swiss flag. in this instance i assume the dog is supposed to resemble an avalanche-dog of sorts, hence the cross.

I haven't played sso in ages, but I wanted to watch this for nostalgia. I started playing in dec 2014, so I remember the old things here :) There are a few things I maybe would have added (I haven't seen any other sso icebergs, so maybe you left them out on purpose) Maya used to be named May, I have no idea why they changed her name. You could only own one hairstyle/makeup look at a time. If you had hair A, bought hair B and after a while wanted to go back to hair A, you would have to pay for hair A again. There was a glitch that made you go SUPER fast. It was so fun! I did use it in a race once ehe. Fort pinta used to be run by a literal kid, he looks a bit older now right? Also the shark there could bite you if you fell in the water on it and you would be sent home. Ferdinand's horse marked used to travel around. (I can't remember if you mentioned this or not, sorry if you did) Steve's place and the village looks so different now, I can't remember if the clock in the village actually worked or not. Since I haven't played in a long time I don't know what's still in the game, so maybe there are some other things as well. But this was really good! (Also I feel like I remember the crying from the castle as well)
another addition: when you couldnt jump near horses that are purchasable. idk if its still in the game but i think it was to prevent players doing glitches

about the fence at 58:19, you could only not jump it if the little girl had a task for you, they did fix that bug and now you can always jump it.
Wasn’t there some glitch that at midnight you could replay the same race to earn extra for you horse fast. Everyone would do the jumping race at Marley’s farm to quickly level up their horse
not only the races. All dailies could be replayed around that time. In Germany I believe we were able to do it from midnight to 3 am. Was done with the bridge and pandoric rifts in no time xD Even switched accounts with my cousin cause I hated doing the rifts so she did that for me and I've built the bridge for her. I feel so old watching this.. I think they removed this sometime after the release of epona but I'm not sure, so long ago

I still remember the Justin Moorland thing! In my memory it was a liiiittle bit different tho- There was a player roaming around named "Justin Moorland" and everybody in the community thought it was a hacker and the rumor was that the second the hacker would interact with you or you with them, they would hack your account. This happening took place over a few weeks and stopped with a new bug fix from star stable, announcing that a bug had been fixed that allowed players to type in names rather than coose one from the list. -Looking back the "Justin Moorland" was probably just one of the first players to discover this and countless copycats followed who wanted to troll. At the time star stable also noted that this name changed player would not have been able to hack other players so that was just bs. I still remember once encountering a "Justin Moorland" who sent me a friend request, prompting me to close the game immediately lol!

There was actually a horse that did cost more than 1000 sc other than the friesians! :) The white gen 1 fjord horse. I believe it's price was like 1425, while other fjords only costed 780 sc. ^^

You also can get yeeted back into your stable (with the black screen saying your horse got an injury) if you and your horse fall in a certain way. It's rare but it happens. There's a tiny edge/cliff thingy in the middle of Cape West fishing village that will do this instantly if you jump/walk off of it, for some reason.
I have something to add to Fripp. So in SSO it is Canon that he dosen't know where he is from. But in Starshine he reveals that him and his people are from outer space and fell to Jordvik while transporting Garnok to some intergalactic prison.

The white notes seems to be a list of horse breeds, possibly a ranking? Jorvik warmblood is on top, with different pony breeds also listed

love this video!! i joined in late 2019 so i didnt really experience all the good years in sso but i have deep dived into this game for a while so theres not much for me to explore anymore sadly, i remember cold tolerant horses and i really miss that feature :( i have also noticed no one goes to the disco anymore, but maybe thats just my server. i was obsessed with SSO theories and lore in 2019-2021, and this video made me remember lots of things that i forgot about ^^

Its been close to six years since i first made my sso account back in december of 2018.I clicked on this video out of intrigue to see what i could remember and what i did not know.
I stopped being an sso fanatic in around 2021-2022 i think? So ive been very behind on everything as i could probably count on one hand how many times ive logged on since then.Ive recently been logging on here and there to see whats up and perhaps grinding a little bit. Seeing the concept art for the dark riders jumpscared me because i havent seen katya (the only dark rider i remember)in the new art style yet.I was so confused on who they were hahaha.

There is another hidden text inside a book in what is now the sacred grove (stone circle? its in the portal in valedale). It is in the second room, with all the books. There is one laying open on a table, that has some blurry but somewhat decipherable text. Loved this vid :)

13:28 SSO dressage is actually a real thing, Its called Quadrille dressage where many people are doing the exact moves as in sso. + In Starshine legacy while playing Anne, this type of dressage was there, where you had to do a curl, fate, curl over ext.
Ive seen many people say that it was sso players that invented this form of dressage even though it was in the originals, and its an actual dressage form💕❤
I actually kinda liked the old graphics, especially the colours and textures on the ground and in the grass, now all of the grass looks the same
Sorry for like the 8 thousandth comment, but anyone else remember the graphics update that was quickly phased out after a year or two? It added ‘realistic’ shadows to everything (including houses, and trees), but apparently it was too graphic intensive so it was removed and replaced with horse-only shadows. It was around 2014-2016
