I have to say... for a product with such a high price point, it really bugs me how willing we are to accept pain as part of the product experience. Like Docs just have this reputation of KILLING your foot for ages before you break them in. Yet such brand loyalty!! They look great but at what price!
Ughh! I got a pair of docs for school, there so painful! My whole heel is completely red and peeled after 1 day. 😢 our campus is super big and my heels are ligit bleeding.
that happens pretty often! my campus is also fairly big so i always make sure to only wear brand new docs on days i don't have to walk as much. that way they have time to break in for when i need to wear them more
I had gotten a pair of Dr. Martens oxfords a couple months back and I’ve only ever worn them once because they are very squeaky. I was wondering if it was because it was raining that day and it somehow made it that way but I’m not sure. I’ve tried everything from baby powder in the soles, to sticking needles underneath the shoe to see if it would stop the squeaking sound that’s coming from the top/middle of the shoe. If you have any tips I would really appreciate it!
hi :) it's not because of the rain, just rubber/leather can sound like that when it's brand new. you'll have to wear them more for the sound to go away.

“Pain is pleasure” idk
it is annoying, but leather is going to be stiff at first and will have to form to your foot somehow :)
I WAS SO ANNOYED AFTER PURCHASING MY FIRST ONE IT’S LIKE WHY WOULD ANYONE PAY THIS MUCH FOR TORTURE
@@fastisinthepast dr martens arent even made out of real leather..
