It's quite informative and brave presentation. Few more important points are -
1. Never shave pubic and groin hairs and never use hair removal cream and bleaching creams , because its give fine cuts and erosions over skin surface and it disturb normal bacterial flora and its involve vulva too. Now it's ideal site to grow different bacteria, fungal elements in form of folliculitis, furuncle and very high chances of allergic contact dermatitis.
Hence increase Asur bacterial number increase the chances of transmission of infection to veginal mucosa, if unfortunately at same time mucosa have distributed pH then it flares up fast and seriously.
ALWAYS USE fine scissor to give a fine cut.
2. Never use savlon or soap water to clean veginal mucosa, until it's specifically advised by your well qualified doctor, because its very common cause to alter the veginal pH. Now it's prone for various infections.
The hyperpigmentation of Pvt. part skin is as you said a sign of maturation, pregnancy, and delivery of baby. It's because of hormones changes.
It's my personal thought that melanocytes movement and transfer some how regulated by some hormones, it's by exactly which one we don't know in medical science. The higher concentration of melanocytes and melanin give extra local immunity because these regions hygiene maintenance is most difficult in comparison to other parts of body.
3. DRY LEATHERY vegina with white patches most common cause is age, changes in pH, hormones changes, depression, over thinking and friction of intercourse for long years can leads to lichen simplex chronicus , is not rare. In this situation consult your nearby Dermatologist and Venereologist.
