Henri Kling, 40 Characteristic Studies, Etude No. 39 - Scott Leger

This week's #EtudeKaraoke is from Kling's 40 Characteristic Studies: The bold and tricky Etude 39.
Kling etudes are really fun to play and learn, but they are very challenging to learn and are especially great for practicing facility and strength in the upper register. When I was in school, we had to have 2-3 etudes prepared every week. That was tough when I was going through the Kopprasch book, but even more challenging when going through all of Kling's 40 Characteristic Etudes!

Did you use trigger 1 for the high a flat? Does that mean your triple has an e flat side? Absolutely stunning playing btw

Yup! I have an Eb Trigger so the "Db" alto horn is the first valve
