I had a vermeer sc30. For one year. I put 500 hours on it, in one year. I bought it for maneuverability, not power. Traded up to vermeer 362. Omg! I've had it 4 years now, just hit 600 hours. I wish I would of bought it sooner! No stump takes an hour anymore. All stumps take about 15 mins. Go big or go home!
When I ran the stump grinder, I felt like it did not have enough weight, and it bounced around a lot, and slid on the tracks when swiping with the cutter head. This is what brand new teeth, and dead oak. I almost wondered if it would be able to make deeper passes if it had some counterweight.
I love my little sg40! I'm a one man band but with that and my boxer I can knock out several jobs a day. I do wish I had your wheel instead of the green teeth setup
I jisy went to green teeth I am telling you green teeth are much more aggressive and faster only issue with green teeth is the wheel sucks the teeth though are awesome ! Keep what you got
@@samstheman7633 I appreciate the reply! I'm putting on 700 series as we speak to see if a smaller bite will save the bolts. I have snapped half a dozer or better of the pocket bolts and I have around 100 hours of mostly easy grinding. $3/bolt wont break me but it is a pain! I'll stick it out with this wheel! Saved me $2k

This is my problem, in my area the used vermeer sc362 is just as much as this brand new bandit.

Yellow jackets all day!
“It’s a warrantied motor”. Unfortunately that’s a very common thing with this grinder. Those motors blow with alarming frequency
